History

Established in 2007.

Right at Home is an in-​home care and assistance agency providing licensed, bonded, background-​checked and trained caregivers to assist elderly and disabled adults in their home.

With its home office in Glendale, Right at Home has steadily grown and currently has over 100 nurse aides, home health aides and experienced caregivers assisting families throughout Los Angeles county.

Recognized by the AARP as a preferred employer, Right at Home has also been certified as a homecare provider by the California Association for Health Services at Home and is a member in good standing with the Better Business Bureau.

Meet the Business Owner

Douglas D.

Business Owner

Right at Home is owned and operated by Douglas and Leanna Dickstein.

Leanna has a long history in the medical and health services industry having spent many years at Rose Medical Center in Denver working in a variety of capacities. Leanna has also been an active volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and the Los Angeles Zoo.

Doug spent 10 years in the television industry helping to grow three different cable television networks before leaving that world to join Leanna and open Right at Home. Since then, Doug has been recognized as an official Certified Senior Advisor. Doug has been involved in numerous community organizations, most notably serving as a past co-​chair of the Silver Lake Neighborhood Council.

Doug and Leanna have been married for 11 years and are the parents of twins, as well as 2 dogs and a cat. They live in the Silver Lake section of Los Angeles.
