My 15 year daughter had to have her wisdom teeth pulled and it was a difficult impacted job. We were referred to Dr. Garabedian through our regular dentist. The office staff were very polite and didn’t keep us waiting too long. Dr Garabedian told us Everything to expect and was very caring and gentle with her. His follow-​up was through and caring as well!!. I decided to have him do my implant after the excellent job he did on my daughter. I have had a lot of dental issues myself, and would absolutely recommend him as an oral Surgeon

Dr. Garabedian is amazing. My regular dentist had been urging me to get my wisdom teeth removed for about 5 years now and i had always been avoiding it because i was scared of the whole process. He referred me to Dr. Garabedian’s office and i finally had the guts to go and get it done. Dr. Garabedian was very nice, funny and sociable he really made sure i felt comfortable from the beginning, assuring me that his main goal was for this procedure to be as easy and pain free as possible. And he sure kept his promise. I was shocked at how smooth everything went from the actual extraction to the healing process. I was back to normal within a week and never experienced any swelling or discomfort. He told me i would never regret taking my wisdom teeth out with him and he sure was right. I highly recommend him especially if you’ve been dreading to take your wisdom teeth out for forever like i was. Thank you Dr. Garabedian.

Dr. Garabedian is such a good dentist! He’s so nice and makes you feel so comfortable before any procedure. He explains everything you need to know before he starts. I came in for a wisdom tooth extraction and it was no sweat. The assistants are so funny and friendly. The wait was a bit long but I understand for it being the last day their open for the year.

I woke up in a pain one day and my cheek was swollen. I went to my dentist and she informed me that it was urgent that I get all four of my wisdom teeth extracted because they were impacted so she referred me to Dr. Garabedian at Pacific Oral Surgery. My current dental plan does not cover any form of oral surgery and I was afraid of an outrageous cost and excruciating pain. Dr. Garabedian proved me wrong by really working with my budget and by providing excellent care. The whole staff is kind and professional. I genuinely felt as though Dr. Garabedian cared about my well being; he even called me the day after the surgery to answer any questions. The procedure was quick and painless and Dr. Garabedian gives you a sheet with detailed instructions about the healing process which was super helpful. I am very grateful that my dentist referred me to Pacific Oral Surgery. The facility is clean, spacious, and parking is pretty simple. The various diplomas and certifications on the wall are also comforting.

Went to my family dentist to get all of my wisdom teeth out, but he said he couldn’t do it. So he referred me to Dr. Garabedian. At first i was thinking that how bad can it be that my dentist can’t do it himself, but after getting an x-​ray at Dr Garabedian’s office i realized that it was no walk in the park. All 4 of my wisdom teeth were impacted and it had to be removed surgically. He even said its gonna be a tough operation. He said some people lose their taste buds because of the nerves that are in the gums! gulp!!! yea i know! Dr G. explained everything in detail and we set a date for the extraction. Went in on my appointment date and he did the whole procedure in less than 30 min. By the time I woke up i didn’t even realize all 4 wisdom teeth were out. He did an excellent job. A week after the extraction i went back to renew some of my pain medication, upon seeing me at his office he called me and checked to see how the healing was progressing. Very professional and a smart dentist. He is also very supportive. Called me a day after the surgery with his cell phone to make sure everything was in order and asked me to contact him in case of anything. Today was my ²⁄₃ week checkup and he did an excellent job of making sure the teeth were healing properly. He gave me the all clear and again advised me to call him anytime if i something doesn’t feel right or normal. Very knowledgeable. I highly recommend. If he can do this clean of a job on my impacted teeth then you can trust him with yours! Thanks Dr Garabedian I hope this is the last time we meet.

This dr should stick tooth extractions! After breaking my jaw in June he wired my jaw shut incorrectly. I still can’t understand why during the follow ups he didn’t see that he wired me with an over bite. Now the only way to have this corrected is to have my face cut open so my jaw can be broken and get rewired correctly. And he tried to say it just happens sometimes I don’t think so! He also tried to remove screws from my jaw without numbing medicine needless to say that was torture and all I got was attitude from him. -***

Dr. Garabedian is fantastic! I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed with no stitches, and I was already eating solid foods the next day. I am very sensitive to pain, yet I did not need to use my prescription for painkillers. I was paranoid about some pain on my 5^th day post-​surgery, so the doctor saw me immediately, answered all my questions, and helped relieve my symptoms.
In addition to amazing doctors and nurses, the women who work at the front desk are so pleasant to speak to and to work with. Through an error on my insurance company’s end, my dental insurance was suddenly terminated without my knowledge, which I found out the morning of my surgery. The office was very understanding and patient while waiting for the error to be corrected, and never once contributed to my anxiety (which can be VERY high when dealing with insurance…). I adore everyone in the office, and I’m so grateful for the dentist who recommended them!

Dr. Garabedian is an amazing Dr. I am a dental assistant and came here because he came highly recommended from one of my coworkers. I wanted to be sedated when it came time to pull out my impacted wisdom teeth because I knew how horrible the experience can get. The first time I went in for the consultation the office was quick to get me in and he was thorough and took his time in answering all my paranoid questions. Finally came the BIG day. I was a nervous wreck and he was able to calm me down. Before I knew it I was waking up. I was all better in about a total of two weeks. I highly recommend Dr. Garabedian, he is very professional and knowledgable. Very clean and friendly back office.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Going to see an oral surgeon is not the greatest feeling in the world, but all your fears are assuaged by Dr. Garabedian. Not only did my wisdom teeth removal go as smoothly as possible, he made sure everything went well pre and post surgery. They truly make you feel like family here!

Amazing experience, highly recommend! Dr. Garabedian is so professional & knowledgeable, and he genuinely cares about his patients. My wisdom teeth surgery could not have gone more smoothly and my recovery was a breeze; didn’t even need to take pain-​killers. Short Answer: Dr. Garabedian is a dream doctor.
Long Answer: I had a formerly root-​canaled tooth extracted by Dr. Garabedian two weeks ago. Dr. Garabedian came highly recommended by a good friend; he became her daughter’s doctor after an abscess had spread beyond her mouth and she was hospitalized. They both gushed about how wonderful he was, and I was thrilled to receive an enthusiastic oral surgeon recommendation after having had disappointing experiences meeting with two others. You see, my case is complicated by the fact that I’ve been on a cancer medication that comes with risks if oral surgery becomes necessary, so not only did I want to find the most skilled doctor I could, but I really needed someone who could thoughtfully explain things to me.
I understood my friend’s joy during my visit with Dr. G., when the worry I was feeling (over how I could ask the right questions and best express my concerns about the extraction) completely dissolved, because HE was the one asking lots of questions, while slowly, kindly (the authentic type), and thoughtfully explaining the risks. Once he had all the information with which to weigh risks, and he had examined both my tooth and the x-​ray, we were both confident that the tooth must come out.
At that point, I was practically excited to do something that I had dreaded for two months. That said I was still shaking with nerves about having a tooth extracted for the first time, and I considered coming back the following day to do it under anesthesia; but Dr. Garabedian assured me that I would be ok without it, and I trusted him. I got a little emotional just before we began (all the built up stress needed to release), and he handled that beautifully, too. Meanwhile, he was right about my being able to endure the procedure. I mean, it was slightly unnerving at first, because even though he seemed to thoroughly test that I was numb enough before beginning the procedure, I kept worrying that he was going to go deeper and we would realize I wasn’t numb enough; but the longer he worked, the less I feared he would strike a nerve and I relaxed more and more.
I’m not sure how long it took, maybe 15 minutes? When done he said that root-​canaled teeth are basically as complicated as it gets with extractions, and yet, it wasn’t so bad at all… like, I think driving home to Los Feliz from Santa Monica at rush hour is much worse!

Was recommended here by my dentist for my wisdom teeth removal. I am pleased with the surgery services provided here. I had all four wisdom teeth removed and I didn’t even feel a thing, healed up quickly thanks to taking great care of myself I feel great. The doctor is knowledgeable and a good surgeon.
HOWEVER, this business is a bunch of liars. They wrote a report of how much my insurance would pay and how much I would have to co-​pay. Upon arriving for the surgery I had to pay the amount that was shown to me at first. Now they have sent me another bill after having already paid the amount they said I would be charged, requesting that I pay more money. I am furious with these liars. I have paid the amount they told me the surgery would cost and now they want to falsely charge me again. If I knew the surgery would cost this much I would not have come here and would have chosen a different surgeon.
Don’t trust these people, I DO NOT recommend them at all.

When my orthodontist advised me that it was time for me to take all four of my wisdom teeth to be removed, I was so nervous and worried about how painful the experience would be.
I can say that literally felt no pain and I healed so quickly! Dr. Garabedian is very professional and explains to you everything that will happen before and after the surgery. Back in September, I started to experience pain I’ve never felt before. I’ve never had a tooth ache so badly. Turned out one of my wisdom teeth (?) needed to come out sooner than I thought. I was originally going to wait until I went back to Michigan to have done. First, I went to a dental office at the suggestion of my boyfriend’s doctor… Which turned out to be a waste of resources and girl nearly desperate enough to reach for pilers.
Anyway, I started looking on Unilocal and found his partner, Dr. Kitikian. Luckily, the person I talked to said there was a cancelation that day and I could come in if I wanted to. I did, thinking I would get Dr. Kitikian. It turns out I had been scheduled with Dr. Hamlet Garabedian.
You know that one time when you call someone by the wrong name? Totally had that moment… But he was very gracious about it. Very funny guy and professional. He answered any questions that were asked in a very welcomed manner. Even my boyfriend felt comfortable in asking for himself.
The procedure itself was very quick. In fact, I looked at him in confusion as to why he was taking off his gloves after a few minutes. Haha.
At first, I was nervous to make an appointment that related to my health based on very few reviews on Unilocal,but I’m so glad that I did. Dr. Garabedian is amazing. I would highly recommend any and everyone to pay him a visit if you’re in need of an oral surgeon. I cannot rave enough.
Also, the office, rooms, equipment are very well kept and are clean.

I had all 4 wisdom teeth taken out by Doctor Garabedian a couple weeks ago and I had been postponing it forever from other places but my husband found this location and I couldn’t be any more pleased I was very nervous because I hate anything having to do with my teeth and pain but wow it was the best experience I have ever had at a dentist office. Everyone made me feel comfortable and at ease I felt nothing my recover was super fast in a about 3 days after I was eating solids with caution of course swelling was very minamal and went down the next day. I highly recommend this place.

I have been cancelling my appointments with other dentists for my wisdom teeth to be pulled for 3 months now. When I met with Dr. Garabedian, he gave me a comfort of mind that everything will be painless and smooth.
I pulled all four wisdom teeth and didn’t feel a thing! No swelling, barely any pain, and extremely quick healing process. He’s very professional yet comforting. Flawless work was completed by him! I definitely will recommend any friends or family members to him, thank you!

The surgeon of this establishment is very nice and once you meet him, he will make sure to answer any questions you have. His assistants were very nice people and made sure i was comfortable at all times. Everything about this place was very professional and accommodating.
