Some of the customer service at this location is hit or miss, especially the lady that works at night. George, who I had the pleasure of working with this morning, is super helpful and fantastic.

Thanks Byron! I came in here late last night to print and bind a proposal to send to a client. The web site wouldn’t let me print separate documents and indicate how I wanted them bound, so Byron helped me put it all together, very quickly, and get that sent over night (Fedex shipping in the same location). Great customer service at this location, even at 11pm!

I almost left because the associates at the prepare to ship counter were basically trying ignore me and probably the other guests that were waiting. Usually people would ask, «can I help you», then direct you to the right area or person if they couldn’t help. That took a while,…
Byron (I believe that’s his name) saved the day! He provided great customer service, he was nice and he ended helping me with my printing because the self serve gave me error messages. I felt a little bad that he had to help, but he reminded me it was his job to help me.
Can you guys give this guy a raise and have him train the others too? I’ll probably most likely only go back because of my experience with him. The others just looked miserable. Cheer up guys,… Thanks Byron!

This was the worst experience ever, all workers were very rude and seemed to not want to be at work. One of the women working wouldn’t allow someone to stay and do work because he’s there way to long, but the guy was doing work on the computers I don’t understand why that would be a problem for them. I wouldn’t recommend going in at all.

I came to drop off a package that I had already labeled. I just needed them to accept the package– to BE the FedEx in FedEx Office. You know, the company that accepts packages and moves them elsewhere.
I spoke with the manager. As an earlier reviewer noted, she took offense to the air gap which I intentionally built into my package. See, when you ship a tube amplifier, you can’t just box the amp tightly. If someone drops that, the force of impact is directly transferred to the amp. Dead. I’ve learned the proper way to package a tube amp from over 10 years of selling and shipping them:
You package the amp in a tight box, like vacuum seal tight. Then a layer 2″ thick of packing peanuts on all sides, then another box. Hell, I’d package EVERYTHING using this method if it weren’t so expensive.
When you push on the outside of this package, it will «give» a little. This way, when (not if) FedEx drops it from NBA regulation height, the peanuts absorb the blow, not the amp itself. Thiiiis iiis hoooow weee do-​ooh it.
She straight up would not accept the package. This manager lady does NOT like air gaps. Air gaps not welcome here, go back where you came from.
I said– «it’s fine, the liability is on me, I packed the freaking thing»
and– «I don’t have time to teach you how this works».
and– «OK here is how this works: *crash course on force and acceleration*»
and– «What the #$!@ is your problem, just take the @#$@ package and put it in the back with the others»
and– «Is there no FedEx here? Just „Office“? So this is my office now? What are you doing in my office, I didn’t hire you»
Actually I didn’t say any of that, because she was a lost cause. She probably hates her job and hates my package because it reminds her that she is at work doing her job (though, not REALLY doing it).
The smaller issue– employees at a glorified Kinkos shouldn’t be making these judgement calls. Just take the package. FedEx can return to sender if they want. I went down the street and gave it to the FedEx terminal with no drama. If FedEx Office can’t fix this, they need to stop advertising as a drop-​off location. Today, it was literally NOT a drop-​off location. If I wanted a NOT drop-​off location, I could have stayed at home, because my home is also NOT a drop-​off location.
And the bigger issue– she only seemed interested in selling me a new-​packaging job. If she doesn’t understand how double-​boxing works, thats professional incompetence for a manager at FedEx. If she understands and just wants to coerce sales from frustrated customers, thats much, much worse.
So, if you are one of the last people in the 21^st century without a home printer, COME ON DOWN to FedEx Office on Brand! Print some documents! Rent a so-slow-it’s-attracting-predators computer! Check your hotmail to see if grandson emailed you (he did not)! Print a pixelated photo you found on Google!
Otherwise, I can’t see what purpose this place serves in 2015. Unless it really is my office now, in which case hold all my calls, I’m very hungover.

So these guys (Namely Carlos) saved butt when I needed to do a last minute print job. I brought my stuff in and knew it might take them a while but Carlos just took my pieces and instantly bound and mounted them in the spot.

This place is an archaic mess.
The worst photo printing machines I have ever encountered in my life. It took over 2 minutes for the screen to start a session. Wouldn’t take a USB stick because it was loaded on a Mac?
I can understand if a place isn’t at the cutting edge of being updated with software but this was like waiting for a web page to load at 56k. Yeah let me get my Palm Pilot and check my email on Netscape Navigator while I’m at it.
The woman at the counter was very helpful which is why I didn’t rate it lower but the facility (and Kinkos in general) is massively behind in technology. All I wanted to do was print photos from a USB and I felt like an IT technician troubleshooting a basic feature.
I will limit my visits to last resort options moving forward.

Printing made easy here, I made copies and sent a print job at the same time. It’s cheap to print black and white.

I used to think the UPS store near me was bad, but I hadn’t been here yet. At first glance it seems to be well organized. Every thing has a place and a checkout counter. Shipping doesn’t have to wait for copying, copying doesn’t have to wait for supplies, etc. Well thought out.
The problem is that the people working here have no idea what they are doing. I had a simple shipping drop off. It was already paid for and just needed to be dropped off at FedEx. There wasn’t really any line, yet somehow the two people working behind the counter took longer then any line I had ever been in at a shipping store. They just couldn’t seem to get anything right and everything was a drawn out process.
When I finally got to the counter I handed the guy my computer and the shipping instructions I had been given. The company I was shipping to said that was it. The FedEx guy though had no idea how to handle this kind of order. I had to wait while he found a box (after the first few boxes weren’t correct), he tried to charge me (even though the shipping label was already made), and he couldn’t work out how to print a receipt for me. The kicker here is that he was a manager.
The overall feeling here was tense and annoyed. People left in a huff because they got tired of waiting for their bs. Can’t say I blame them.

Byron is the man at this kikos, what a life saver this guys is. I needed to print a 16×20 image for a party that was going on already. I was told 1^st that this types of prints take a day because of all other orders they have, but after I told him my situation he stop what he was doing and help me print my image. I was out of there in 20min. Byron I can’t thank you enough.

These guys always do a perfect job, especially Dave. I’ve been a customer for several years now, and they have often done a better job, in less time, than some of my printers who pride themselves in doing fancier «custom» jobs.
Often able to do last minute jobs which is oh-​so important when in a rush.
They’ve never been late, often managed to get me discounts, and are always courteous. I’ll keep entrusting them with our business.

This place is only good if you know exactly what you want and how to do it and don’t need anyone’s help or even acknowledgment. I’ve gone in a few times to print on nice resume paper, to make copies, and for lamination. The employees tend to stay behind the counter, presumably working on more important print-​related jobs, and I had to wait for a while at the counter before someone looked up inquisitively. I asked about lamination, and they showed me the machine and I think handed me a piece of laminate paper. The rest was self-​serve, which would’ve been fine had the lamination gone smoothly, haha. it was bumpy and left a bunch of air bubbles which looked very unsightly and disappointing.
However on the other occasions when I just needed to rush in and print/​make copies, it was fine.

I wish I looked up Unilocal before I selected to print anything at this location. If you need something printed ASAP save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

FedEx has been the «go-​to» Domestic Shipping service for my personal and business needs for many years now, which is why I want to stress the difference between the actual Office Centers and individual carriers being one of drastic proportions.
The location off of Brand, in the heart of Glendale, is full of employees that simply do not have any customer service experience, nor hold enough knowledge of shipping and receiving practices to even boast part-​time work status.
My latest encounter was late this evening (11:30pm) with Marvin. His badge informed me of his employment beginning in ’08, which held a ton of irony considering he wouldn’t let me ship a 11×8 box that had a «2cm air-​bubble gap».
In utter disbelief, I exclaimed that no such law existed and his statement was a (joke). He vehemently refused my package over the «air-​bubble» so I went to another location in Hollywood where I informed the Store Manager what I was told by Marvin in Glendale. He apologized and assured me «he will be reprimanded swiftly and harshly.» I also received a credit and free Express Shipping. A nice little bonus for my trouble.
There are other examples of terrible service in Glendale so do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY!

I am only doing this so that the owner knows what a bad employee they have.
My fiancé and I are getting married tomorrow and had to get a canvas printed for our table seating. The lady helping us (Melanie) said that we needed to do the graphic designing and then they could print.
Lost with no options at 10pm, we started to work on the photoshop app in the store.
We asked Jena to help us because honestly it was both of our first time using Photoshop.
Jena was amazing! She was so helpful and helped is finish in 20 minutes.
While finishing up Melanie came and told us that she has to charge us for the graphic design. My fiancé was so upset that he told her money is not a problem we needed this for our wedding the NEXT DAY! So just to either scare us or just be malicious she randomly said that graphic designing is going to be $ 100. We told her no problem, at this moment money is not our concern.
She left and told us that since JENA knows EVERYTHING she is going to let her help us.
Jena apologized for HER and continued to help us.
Let me say this much, I am standing at FedEx writing this review. I think you need to reward great employees and take note of those unhappy to service a customer.
Let me say this much, no one charged us $ 100 dollars for graphic designing. That was a crappy move and had we cared we would be walking out without our large foam photo.

I don’t use Fedex for shipping. But the company I work for does, so I’m often dropping things off here to be mailed overnight. This means the envelopes are pre-​written back in the office so it should be a quick process, right?
Not so fast!
Because everything here is slowwww. As a turtle.
Just the other day I came here to drop off the usual flat Fedex envelope and there is one guy at the counter in charge of shipping. There are two in line ahead of me. He takes his time with the people in front while chatting away with someone who’s behind me. I’m actually in a rush to be somewhere, so it’s starting to bother me. Finally my turn and I go up to the counter. He completely stops what he’s doing to answer questions of the same guy behind me. So I tell him I am actually in a huge rush and need to leave soon. His response? «I can just give you the top copy of this (referring to the paperwork I filled out) as your receipt if you’re in a hurry, it’s basically the same as a receipt.»
Um, what? If I say I’m in a hurry, you should really just focus on getting me the REAL receipt instead of trying to find shortcuts to avoid doing your job. Instead of apologizing and getting to it, he offers me an alternate, worse solution. And plus this isn’t even for me, and my boss would require the actual receipt so I tell him that. And even with that he continues trying to sell me other solutions– «oh you can create an online account which would send you receipts automatically.» BASICALLY telling me to do everything except for just doing his job.
Last but not least he continues blaming the computer for being slow. That is slightly more understandable but at this point he’s already tried finding too many excuses and it just makes him look worse.
Honestly, customer service needs to improve here. The store itself is spacious and clean, but service is way too slow and attitude sucks. Can’t believe it took almost 15 minutes to drop something off.

Went in recently to get a passport picture and was about to turn right around when I saw a long line and only one attendant, but all of a sudden three other staff members arrived to help customers. The line soon disappeared and I was quickly swooped away to take my pic. Less than 5 minutes later and I was on my way.
I’m still not sold on the experience for printing, faxing, or copying, but they deserve another star for being more efficient this time around.
