Although the shop doesn’t normally work on Volkswagen Diesels, the owner was kind enough to have a look at my 2010 Sportwagen TDI, right at closing no less! Turns out my check engine light was due to a simple loose wiring harness, which his technicians reconnected and I was quickly on the road again.
It was obvious from even my brief experience with Lansdale Automotive that the owners take pride in the their shop, their employees and go above and beyond for the customers.

Great service! The prices are fair, and they communicate with you about what they find and how you want to proceed. They’re honest with what should be fixed instead of pushing tons of unnecessary purchases. My husband and I made the switch over when we moved to Georgetown and we are so happy we did!

Lansdale’s is just an honest place. There are places to go that on any one service may be cheaper. But at Lansdale’s you can rest assured that when you drop off your vehicle, your car will be serviced by top quality mechanics and you will not be:
1. Upsold
2. Told you need work that you do not need
3. Wait an inordinate amount of time for your vehicle
4. Given any bait and switch
It is hard to fine mechanics that are good and honest. Lansdale’s is. No need to look any further for a place to repair your vehicle.

This was my first visit here and I’ve already learned that these guys are trustworthy, honest, and most importantly THEY KNOW WHAT THEY’RE DOING! I had just come from another shop in town because they «couldn’t find a part in my car they needed to do the inspection.» As soon as I got it to Lansdale they took care of my car and knew everything they needed to complete my inspection. They are the same price as «bargain» auto repair places but they provide top quality service. Before leaving, they reassured me that they’ll never try to make anyone buy parts they don’t need and their oil changes and inspections are always one price that never changes. I’ll never make the mistake of taking my car anywhere else again!

These guys are amazing. My first visit with them was to have an exhaust issue fixed. They were incredibly helpful. The second time, during the Halloween weekend rains, they really showed what it means to go to a local shop. I am about to make a trip to Colorado and needed a new set of tires. I arranged to go in the Friday of Halloween and get a set of Goodyear tires. Dave, the one I’ve worked with most, offered to get me a tire that was cheaper AND rated at a higher mileage. The rating was important for me as I drive between College Station and Austin twice a week. They gave me a call to let me know that my alignment in back was significantly off and wanted to know if I wanted them to fix it. What really made me committed to these guys for my vehicle is what happened at the end of the day. They promised to make sure that they would complete all work by close or stay late trying. They called to inform me they were done and I began making my way to get my vehicle. I called them when they were supposed to be closing to let them know that we weren’t going to make it by the time they left. Due to the rain and flooding, Dave promised to stay so that I could have my vehicle for the weekend. No chain store would provide as much customer service and commitment as these guys do. I will also go back with our vehicles.

I called today to see if I could get my car looked at. I initially thought it was the starter on my car. I contacted Lansdale and spoke with Dave who was very presentable and helpful. He got me a number to a wrecker to pick up my vehicle who arrived in less than an hour. Thankfully it was a small repair on my car but, they made it a priority to have it done as soon as possible. I am very Thankful this was done in such a timely manner since I’m a single parent with two kids who needs their vehicle. Thank you Lansdale!

I love these guys! As a female that doesn’t know very much, it’s hard to find a trustworthy mechanic. These guys work fast and also pointed things out that previous mechanics did wrong that could have cost me major bucks down the line. Lastly, they told me what is coming up for maintenance and the signs to look out for when to bring my car back in. Overall, great people!

This is my second review for Lansdale.
Just have to brag on them again. Such a great place. Had to have my car towed on a Sunday — had it towed to Lansdale. Dave recognized my car first thing Monday morning, and gave me a call before I called him. They take such good care of me. They give you a spot on estimate. No pushy sales gab… just what you need. Dave and the crew are my guys! I trust them and appreciate them.
When you pick up your vehicle, they go over everything they did. Premium service and folks!

My AC went out while visiting Corpus. I called Thursday and was able to get it in Friday and get a new condenser put in the same day! That is not an easy part to get on short notice. The price was fair and I received a new client discount. They were honest and showed me the problem which was what the dealer said also. They are locally owned and care about the people they work for. My husband works out of town and was not able to get home in time to pick up the car so they sent a car to come get me. I plan to use them for all future maintenance!

I’m always nervous about taking my car into the shop, but based on my fellow Unilocaler’s reviews, I tried Lansdale Automotive. I was so happy with my experience, I definitely want to recommend them to others! Very nice, informative, and honest. Hopefully my car won’t need maintenance for a while, but when she does we’ll be back at Lansdale!

I have 185 000+ on my vehicle. Been using Lansdale’s for 10 years. They meet all of my repair needs. Tires, alignment, brakes, inspections. You name it. Fair, knowledgeable, friendly gentlemen.
I have a teenage driver now and I feel good knowing that Lansdale mechanics are keeping his vehicle safe and running great.
I would never go anywhere else.

Came in for the first time after reading Unilocal reviews. Stopped in for a vehicle inspection and was impressed by the good family feel of the business owner Alan. I will be back soon for other work. Great experience. I highly recommend. Again Unilocal has not failed me with the reviews.

These guys are awesome! I went in for an oil change and thought I needed a tire rotation but they saved me money and told me I didn’t need one. They also checked my air filter which I didn’t know existed. No one else has ever checked that so it needed to be replaced. Very honest men and a pleasure to do business with!

Brian is the best. He’s helped me rebuild a Jeep, fix my kids K1500 and my wife’s Lexus. No issues whatsoever with any of their work. Nicest people you could ever meet. Honest and hard workers.

Came in for an inspection. Signs are posted at the door to have cash for inspections I did not know that until I got there. Just an FYI. After the inspection I got to talking with Dave about my pickup and some issues I was having with it. They recommend I try a few things before I start really tearing things apart. The recommendation they offered solved my issue and was very happy I didn’t have to tear the truck up and spend more money. Honest and trustworthy. I will be back in the future.

I wish I could give 0 stars based on the conversation I just had with these people. I have never experienced someone being that rude in my life.
The a/​c compressor in my car went out and a new one is $ 300-​$ 500, totally unaffordable. I found one with a year warranty for under $ 100. Now all I needed was a mechanic to help me install it. Based on the reviews I was hoping this would be a good trustworthy place… WRONG!
When I explained my situation to the man he snapped back at me saying and I quote «that’s like trying to take your own eggs to the Waffle House and ask them to cook it for you». So instead of helping a customer who can’t afford your overpriced parts and tries to find an alternative, you decide it’s ok to make snide remarks and talk down to them? How about offering some suggestions on how to go about getting it installed instead of condescending remarks. Completely unprofessional. Horrible attitude. I wouldn’t never let someone like that touch my car, and I hope whoever reads this doesn’t either!

Very pleasant first visit experience: telephone etiquette excellence, convenient night-​time key drop system for after hours. The value of speaking directly with the mechanic is a welcome departure from the usual dialogue with a service representative, even if I’m no longer privy to a Starbucks while I wait…

Found them on Google based off their great reviews. I’m all about supporting local businessess. Came in for an oil change and since I came in early in the morning, they were done with my car in 25 minutes. Service was prompt and very friendly. They take pride in their business. As I was waiting, an older gentleman came in to find out information about getting his car checked out. The gentleman behind the desk was courteous and gave timeline information then proposed the older customer leave his vehicle at the shop to get it checked out. The customer asked, «Who will take me home?» and the gentleman behind the counter within a heartbeat said, «I will drive you.» The customer seemed happy enough and said he’d come in another day for the service. I was impressed. I think other automotive shops like chains would have just recommended having a friend or family member give the customer a ride while the car got serviced.
All in all, I’ll be coming back here for future services. I think it’s neat that they have a well-​maintained website too.

I moved from California to Florida in early 2008. We shipped most of our belongings, but decided to make a road trip across the country in our car. We stopped in Texas to visit some family we have in Austin. However, right around Georgetown, the car started to overheat. We pulled off onto Williams Drive and stopped at one of the mechanics we found on Google, which was Lansdale Automotive. We got really lucky. I talked with the owner, who was very friendly. I explained our situation, and how it would be very inconvenient to leave our car there for any length of time. He said this was no problem, and he’d take care of us. After about an hour, he said it was fixed! What a nice guy. I couldn’t be more happy with our experience. I don’t live in TX, so I doubt I’ll ever be going back. But if you need your car fixed, I hope you take it there!
