Our 19 year old car finally died a painful death. In pursuing or options they were very patient and responsive. After deciding to purchase a new used car, they checked out the new vehicle the next day and helped in selling the old car to a junk yard saving an extra tow charge

1 star because they performed a service, but I feel like we were duped. They saw a young kid and a flat tire repair quickly turned into a $ 600 plus service. We were quoted one price and when we showed up to pay it was a much higher amount. When we questioned the difference suddenly it became our mistake and I felt helpless. I honestly don’t think that my husband would have gone through the same experience but unfortunately he is currently deployed I didn’t have the luxury of his assistance or thought we would need it, but this is the first time I have felt taken advantage of.

After my husband took our expedition here for a service the car started shaking at speed. It was running fine before that, we were just doing routine maintenance. So we took it back and they said a heater hose had gone and it was leaking into the cylinders. We paid for this on top of the previous $ 900 so now up to $ 1600 and then today the car is still shaking and aircon is blowing hot at the same point and the check engine light comes on. I am kinda thinking they will make something up to cover the initial faulty service and cover their backs. I may be completely wrong though. I truly hope I can change this review when I get a drivable car again. All of this has been happening within the last few weeks and we have maybe driven the car 30miles between the time of the service and it shaking tremendously.
Update– They said that there was still some coolant in one of the cylinders and flushed it free of charge. Considering this is what we paid $ 700 for the hoses to be change and flushed a few days ago this should not have been an issue and it wasted a lot of mine and my husbands time taking the car back again. I have upped the star rating one because they at least fixed their mistake (I hope anyway)

I really like the guys at Christian Brothers. They’re honest and helpful. Car problems are an absolute nightmare, so when my check engine light came on it was a moment of dread. I took my car in and they diagnosed the light as an emissions problem that would take a $ 1,000 to fix the part. They could have just left it at that leaving me to pay them to replace it, but they took the initiative by calling the Subaru dealership to find out if the car was under warranty for the fix (which it was). So I didn’t have to pay them a dime (except to replace some windshield wipers) and got to take my car to the dealer to have the part replaced for free. It was really fantastic of them to call about the warranty. I never would have known and they could have pocketed the money.

If I could rate lower than 1 star I would … To me it is unreasonable to drop off a car at 7:30 AM and not receive a call back till 3 PM on an estimate. It is unreasonable and unethical to charge labor on installing a power steering pump and additional labor to install the hoses. The owner thought it was reasonable charges.
On the other hand, I give Keith (manager), five start for his great customer service.

Excellent customer service, above and beyond what you can possibly imagine to save you time, money and make sure you are back on the road safely and quickly!

I have been to Christian Brothers several times over the past 3 years they have always been very honest and even told me that I didnt need something when I asked them to check it. They have always been very friendly and made taking your car to the mechanic stress free.

I thought I had a transmission issue, but it was really my fan clutch. They said they may not be able to look at it for several hours, then called me within two with the estimate. Within another two it was good to go, and running better than ever. Amazing service, and yes, the quote for the estimate was exactly what I paid. Thanks, all y’all!

I was preparing to drive to Southern California after spending sometime in the Georgetown area. I wanted to just makes sure that the the used car I had just purchased out here was going to make the trip. I called in the after 1300 the day before I was supposed to leave and Christian Brothers Automotive was able to fit me in that day. Not only that but they didn’t charge me a thing! They not only put my worrying at ease but made my wallet happy too!
The facility is clean and professional just like the people who work there. If I were to be staying in Texas they would have my business. If you are indecisive about where to take your car I would go with Christian Brothers, you’ll be in good hands.

This is so refreshing; an auto shop that charges you the same rate that they quote you. This never happened in So Cal. I called and spoke with Matt, who was able to get me in with one hour notice for an oil change. They automatically do a check of other car vitals with no additional charge. The waiting room was clean, quiet and they had updated reading material. As a woman it was nice to not be taken advantage of. Thank you Matt for the great service.
