History
Established in 2008.
After making wine at a variety of highly respected wineries in the Pacific Northwest for nearly 20 years, Tony Rynders decided it was time to set out on his own. In order to carry on his tradition of making award winning wines, it was of the outmost importance that he work with superb vineyard teams and amazing fruit. The name Tendril pays homage to this by focusing on the most significant part of any great wine, the fruit. A vine tendril is what sets the plant apart from so many others, as it is an indication of the vines health, maturity, and a vital part of the growing season. Through his many years as a winemaker the importance of sound farming practices and impecable fruit has not been lost on Tony Rynders. From great fruit, comes great wine.
