Established in 2009.

Established in 2009 by (Abe or Abi) full name Abimelec A, The idea was to create a small plumbing company with affordable/​competitive pricing along with the professional attitude and reliability of a large corporation, we quickly found out that we stand out from the rest due to the strong relationships we build with our customers, and so we built JET DRAIN on the foundation of Personal Relationships and Customer Service after all we are a service company.

I have worked in some of Los Angeles’s largest plumbing corporations for over 10 years and ultimately wanted to be more creative and independent, so as scary as it may seem I took the risk and started JET DRAIN. I couldn’t be happier, I love what I do, I help people everyday not just with plumbing but when I see someone in need I like to be that guy that comes to help (a freedom that couldn’t be provided with just the bottom dollar in mind like at the corporations I worked for). I am the guy that sees that your gas cap is open and I jump out of my truck to close it for you, or if I see that your pushing your car I get off to help push. just the other day I offered to helped an elderly woman cross the street with her groceries (yea I know who does that anymore… I do!) well when we got across she kept walking so I followed her hahaha I ended up walking her all the way home hahaha… fortunately it was only a few blocks away from my place.

So our shower floods and water is coming up the bathtub and seeping up from the toilet floor. Not a pretty sight! Called Jet Drain first thing this morning and spoke to Kelly who was able to squeeze me in between 12:00 — 1:00pm, but called a few minutes later because they had a cancellation and was able to send Abi sooner. Yay!
So here comes Abi after 10:00am, was very pleasant and went right to work. He got the job done, explained what the «root» of the problem is, and was out of here in less than an hour :) First time customers get a discount too! Will definitely keep them in mind for any future plumbing issues. Highly highly recommend! Thanks Kelly and Abi!

Two years ago at the worst possible time of the year, Christmas time, our kitchen sink, and our shower were both backing up. We were having company from out of state. We just couldn’t prolong it any longer. We needed a plumber. I was dreading the cost of this job. I got on Unilocal and picked a plumbing company. I picked Jet Drain Plumbing. I was so surprised and so happy. It was another great Christmas, all because of Jet Drain Plumbing. They came out and did the job, and did a wonderful job. The quote we received was better than any other. They left the work site cleaner then they found it. They explained everything as they went along. Their honesty, and pricing, helped me enjoy my company, during these busy expensive times. I now refuse to use any other plumbing company. I have also posted this Jet Drain Plumbing on my facebook page in the past. We have used Jet Drain and so has our daughter. I have recommend them to all my family and friends.

Stay away from this company, they only want your money. The plumbing materials they work with are very cheap, which can cause major damage to the rest of your plumbing at a later time. Jet drain destroyed several things and did bother in repairing the damage items upon completion of their work. They are very unprofessional and careless about protecting the customer’s property. Several weeks ago my wife contacted another plumbing company because the pipe that jet drain supposedly repaired was still leaking. jet drain charged me 1300 for the repairs to my pipe, which I thought it was outrages. the second company charge me 500 $!!! as you can see they only want your money. I also notice their employees don’t carry not type of document stating they are license plumbers, which is out of the ordinary because all plumbing companies that I dealt with in the past have them visible in their person at all times. They seem to pick people off of the street. For example, numerous gang tattoos, broken English, poor writing skills and terrible hygiene. Stay away from this company and if you do hire them make sure you ask every employee entering your home for permits/​plumbing license.

Very nice and professional staff. The operator was very friendly and made sure to get a technician out with in two hours. The technician James showed up early «two thumbs up» and he fixed the problem in no time. I am extremely impressed and thankful. Will use them again with out hesitation!

Jet Drain was great! Responded to my call promptly and came out right on time to check out my clogged toilet. Snaked it, was done within 15 minutes, but James noticed that the shutoff valve was a little leaky when he turned it, and so he was concerned it had to be replaced. Instead he managed to find an o-​ring to fit it in his truck. replaced that and solved the problem, while saving me some money! He also gave me a discount because I found them on Unilocal!Most impressed.

After seeing all the high ratings for Jet Drain on Unilocal,I found out that they’re there for a reason… or, after my awesome experience, more than just one. I called them for preventive maintenance after getting a huge bird-​of-​paradise plant removed from my yard and wanted to know if I should get the pipes inspected and cleared.
James came out right away and instead of just doing the job and charging me for it, he actually took the time to open the lid to the clean out, had me run water in the house, showed me that it was flowing freely and told me that he’d do the job if I wanted, but that since the pipes were obviously still open that I could get by without having it done.
I was very impressed by his honesty and integrity and Jet Drain will the only company I call for any future plumbing needs!

This review was for the work done around 4⁄1. I’ve been using these guys for several jobs and they’ve been great! Today James had an opportunity to do a «job» versus the right thing on a dishwasher install where the flooring was bad and needed to be replaced and he performed with outstanding integrity and recommended we fix the flooring before the install. Integrity in an individual is as good as gold. My wife will be a little upset but she’s thankful as well.

Exceptional service. Abi and his crew are very knowledgeable and reliable. They have worked on residential and commercial jobs; no job is too big or too small. I will like to take the time to write about my great experience with Jet Drain. After getting about 6 estimates on my sewage system Jet Drain was way more affordable then all the other estimates. I had to go about getting just about all of my pipes replaced under a damp house due to sewage damage. Larry and Anthony are the two plumbers who completed this hectic task with no problems and also did some extra work that they did not have to. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. This will be the only plumber I will be using from now on. Very satisfied with the honesty, affordable price, and great staff. You go Jet Drain.

Jet Drain is the best there is around. Professional, hardworking, helpful, reliable and always polite. Jet Drain/​Abi came highly recommended by my contractor for all the plumbing work I needed done for a coffee shop build.
Abi came and was able to provide a lot of solutions to the roadblocks we encountered from both building conditions (multi-​unit which makes new plumbing work harder), and from the City. He also is extremely detailed and meticulous in his work, and we passed our City inspections the first time round without any hiccups. Abi also offered to provide some extra work that wasn’t included in his contracted scope. All with a smile. Can’t say that you see that work ethic and attitude often these days.
All in all, I’d highly recommend Jet Drain for all your plumbing needs.

We’ve used Abi twice now, once to unclog a bathtub and then our main. He’s professional and courteous plus he was respectful of his work boots and coming through the house. He assessed the problems quickly and solved them just as fast. He offered us different solutions as he worked and it never felt like he was trying to get more out money out of us. He explains how to prevent the problem from happening again (if possible) and all around is a friendly service. He worked in the dark during our second issue and it didn’t slow him down!

I have been calling Abe the plumber for over ten years. He’s always been able to repair the plumbing at my home and businesses. I can say that he is honest, reliable and always gets the dirty jobs done. HIs personality kind of reminds me of Joey Fatone.
