Fast Water Heater Company

This review is about a young but very professional technician working on the replacement of our Garbage Disposal. I truly hope this is the correct Fast Water Heater Company location to give Chris Garcia his due. The old disposal was very difficult to remove because it was not properly mounted and the years have corroded the rings and fasteners. Chris worked on it diligently and with the tools he had on hand and his knowledge of Insinkerator Brand of Disposals finally got the old unit out. It was then a matter of minutes to install the new Insinkerator Disposal. He made sure all connections were made and that there were no leaks present. A very good job all around. It was our fortune to have Chris do the hard work and I would not hesitate to call on him or his company again in the future.

Chris Garcia came out and was very efficient, professional, and friendly. He checked his work, and explained what was done, and why.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! This is my first review on Unilocal and this company needs to know they cannot treat potential customers with such disrespect. Here is a timeline of what happened.
1. Saturday: agreed on purchase of water heater and scheduled installation for next day, between 12 — 3 pm.
2. Sunday 3 pm: install guy never showed, so called the number where I placed the order and he told me he will page the «tech» and was assured he was on his way.
3. Sunday 3:30 pm: called the number again and another guy answers, put on hold for 10 mins and he said he left a message for the mysterious «tech» to call me back
4. Sunday 4:00 pm: called the same number and after being on hold for 15 mins, a answering machine greeting comes on from another guy named «Marcus» They all probably took off for the day since they close at 4:30 pm. They couldn’t care less that they left a customer hanging.
Evidently, this company is contracted with Home Depot to install water heaters. How can they associate with such irresponsible and unreliable contractors? Fortunately, it wasn’t an emergency, so I still have the use of the water heater. Needless to say, I will take my business elsewhere.
If you live in the Redondo Beach, South Bay area, I’m sure there are other reputable contractors. Save yourself time and effort and avoid this company.

Our experience with Fast Water Heater Company was terrific… from the interaction with Angie’s List, our phone call to Rob (the service scheduler), his prompt scheduling expertise (same day service!), and Ryan’s expert installation… all exceptionally professional, very prompt, and clean. Ryan also did a thorough job of explaining the work and the associated options. He was extremely careful inside and outside our home, completed the job in about 2.5 hours, and he left no «plumberly residue». Great job!
Although we don’t want to replace water heaters very frequently, I’d recommend the Fast Water Heater Company team to any homeowner in need. This is extreme customer service at its finest!
