Café in the Park, located at the Moody Gardens Hotel opened spring 2014 and has rapidly become one of the most popular casual restaurants at Moody Gardens. Located on the lobby level of the hotel, Café in the Park proudly serves the best and freshest breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Our new menu offers a variety of delectable American (traditional) dishes that are sure to delight even the pickiest of pallets. Enjoy a three egg omelet for breakfast, café burger for lunch, fried jumbo gulf shrimp for dinner, or enjoy a fresh cup of Starbucks coffee and enjoy the lush scenery.

Ambience is key with Café in the Park. The restaurant boasts a new concept with its lush furnishings and greenery with trees, butterflies and openness that is reminiscent of an airy bistro. A wall of windows add to the openness and natural theme of the restaurant and allow the natural beauty to shine.

Opened in 2014, Café in the park boasts the tastiest creations from Executive Chef Urs Schmid. His vision for providing fresh, healthy and delectable dishes have made him the toast of Galveston Island.

Café in the Park works hard to provide guests with a once in a lifetime experience when dining whether it is a cup of coffee, breakfast buffet or family dinner.

Café in the Park is located on the lobby level of the Moody Gardens Hotel. The hotel recently completed a $ 20 million hotel renovation. Upgrades can be seen throughout the entire hotel from the lobby, corridors, guest rooms, business and fitness centers, restaurants, meeting spaces, spa and public areas.

Crews worked for 24 months redesigning the space, installing new flooring, lighting, soft goods and workstations. The changes have given the hotel a brand new look that guests are sure to enjoy.
