We started out as a bumper mobile repair unit, but quickly found the need for a brick and mortar facility.

After being in the automotive business for several years, I constantly found myself surrounded by people in the business that only cared about profits, not quality or good service.

I believe in honest and fair business methods, long working hours and treating people the same way I would want to be treated, with respect and truthfulness. I come from a family with a long line of business ownership that taught me the value of life, people and knowledge of a Holy Trinity watching from above.

I have been in Gainesville for just over a year. I recently got into an accident from someone passing on a double yellow, some ugly damage but all cosmetic. I decided to try Mends and Blends because of good reviews and it was close to work. I was overwhelmed. Jimmy is super helpful and led me through the process of dealing with insurance companies. He got me a supplement to my claim when I was not even there and gave me a fair price. The work was perfect and the car looked better than before I wrecked it. Highest possible recommendation!

I brought my car in very last minute about 3 PM on a Friday. Both Jimmy and Tim are very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly, did not feel intimidated at all. My bumper had come off on the right side, Tim got right to it and drilled it back in and adjusted a couple of other concerns that I had. Their price is very, very reasonable, one of the more college kid friendly options I’ve seen. They took care of my car in a very timely manner, I was only there for about 30 minutes (even got to play with one of their dogs, that was a bonus). They have a wide variety of services that they offer, if I ever need any of these services again I will definitely be going back to them. My experience could not have been any better. Highly recommend!

I just have to say that these guys are amazing. They do a great job, they work extremely fast, and the quality of their work overall is excellent.
I came in the first time to get a quote on re clearing my carbon fiber trunk that was looking pale and ugly and needed to shine again. Many shops would not work on it because it was too difficult or maybe they just didn’t have the experience. Since they quoted me a great price and told me they could totally do it, i went for it and dropped of my trunk. By the next day they had it ready, and all i have to say is that it looked amazing, just like it was brand new.
After i saw the quality of work, i decided to drop off my front bumper than had been scratched by valet parking. Once again they amazed me and left my front bumper looking like new. Jimmy (the owner) gave me the alternative to just fix the side where it was bad (helping me to try to save some money) but i ended up painting the whole front bumper by choice. Other shops had quoted me an arm and a leg for this repair when here i got it for half the price and could have gotten the side fixed only by 1⁄6 of the price if i had wanted to.
Since by bumper was off, the awesome staff also help me clean my headlights that looked cloudy. These look like new again, i had tried everything myself but never got this result. Overall i am extremely happy with my service and love how humble and friendly the staff was. I definitely recommend anyone to go there if you need any body work.

Just picked up my ’09 Honda from Mends and Blends. I could not be more pleased with the work or the service I received from the owner and staff. It was a most pleasant experience and I recommend Mends and Blends to whomever needs auto body repair.
