Oh man. If you need to take a child to get a blood test, DO NOT GO HERE. I thought they would have some knowledge or special techniques for a pediatric blood draw since their website considers it a «specialty service» and it was on the drop-​down window for this location when I made an appointment for my 5 year old. Nope.
The lady at the front desk looked at me like I was crazy when I asked if they had a procedure for handling children. She was very rude and said no, they do it the same for every age. The nurse that came in to take my daughter’s blood asked her to spell her last name (um, she’s 5??) and then said «you have to be very still otherwise we’ll have to do this twice.» Thanks for that initial threat. Then when she had me hold both of my daughter’s arms down and asked me to put my leg across hers (basically, SIT ON HER) I realized she had no clue how to handle a child blood-​draw.
We left, because after lots of dealing with yet another bad attitude from that second Quest employee, I was done.
I would not recommend this place for any age… unless you enjoy being sassed and disregarded. :)

Absolutely horrible! Had an appointment still had to wait 30 minutes. Had to pay to park. The woman that took my blood had a terrible cough. She was not at all gentle with the needle put no pressure on after. I have a HUGE black and purple bruise. Bathroom was dirty. Receptionist had no personality and was not professional. Would NEVER go there again.

Really disappointed that I had a 10:15 appointment and was there for almost an hour waiting. I get blood drawn weekly, with appointments and the average time is about 20 min; this place was ridiculously slow. I will never come back, not only was I late for another appointment I was freezing my butt off waiting in their suite.

I absolutely love this place. This is the only lab I want to go to. I have never made an appointment, because of my schedule, I am always a walk-​in. I think they’re great. I am in and out of there quickly. The phlebotomists do this all day, everyday and are quite skilled, I’ve never had a problem with any of my blood draws.

Long wait time. Set an appointment. Not the friendliest place around. Terrible place. I will try not to use them again. I think there are other Quest locations. My doctor likes the way they report. So, I have to go there. I will NOT go back to this place on Valencia Mesa though. They are short staffed and you get to wait forever.

Terrible place to go to. First, they charge up front to park in the parking lot. $ 1.00 for 30 minutes… Second, if you have to go to the third floor to get to Quest, you’ve already used 10 minutes getting an elevator to get there. Very unorganized in the office and the poor girl working the desk looked overwhelmed. Do not go here if you can avoid it. I left after not getting my draw just do I wouldn’t have to pay longer to park.

They didn’t seem like they liked their job.
I tried having a normal conversation and I got nothing from the lady. It also took her a longtime to fill 3 bottles. My arm hurts worse than before. I’ve only been there 1 other time and the little Indian lady was so fast and at least nice to me. But this time was different. In the waiting room I kept over hearing personal complaints.

My wife has had several bad experiences here. So, we gave them several chances to do a good job without bad feelings. The guy that works there didn’t know how to take blood and left a huge bruise after attempting to find the vein several times and in both arms. He made her practice arm sore for a day and half. I don’t even know how that’s possible.
Another time we got a pregnancy test and their lab charged us for a $ 50 retest that was their mistake. We had to get our doctor involved to get it resolved.
The last straw was when she went in for a blood test with an appointment and still had to wait 40 mins past her time. At that point she just left and went to a lab (consolidated medical bioanalysis) across the street that wasn’t full at all. They were nice, quick, and took blood like pros.

Yikes, what a mess. One person doing blood work, one person checking in at front desk. I arrived at 8:40 for my 8:45 appointment (which they had lost in their system — only when I showed her my email did she reluctantly take my paperwork).
At 9:10 I was called to back, where every one of the rooms (4 – 6 rooms) had a patient in it and 6 people standing.
At 9:20 I tried to leave but had to wait for a lady who was shouting at the completely overworked front desk person. I understood the women’s irritation as she also had an appointment that was way behind, but honestly, it was ridiculous. I felt bad for every grumpy fasting person waiting, and the workers. My last blood work was about $ 1,000 and my out of pocket about $ 100.
Can you say «feel like a number». I voted with my feet, and will never return.

Wow, I’m really surprised this place has low ratings! I’ve been here a few times and I’ve never had a bad experience! The girl up front has her job down and the girl who takes my blood is always sweet and proficient. Every time I’ve come, it’s been on my lunch break, so I make an appointment. They have a convenient parking garage that is free for the first 30 minutes and $ 1 for every hour after. I have gotten through my lab appointment fast enough each time that I have never paid to park. My tips: bring your lab paperwork and insurance card, and make an appointment.

Walk ins not welcomed. Shoot you down ASAP with one hour wait because they double book! My olé dad had an appointment still took half hour to get in!

I’m on the same page as these other reviewer’s. I had a bad experience here and I will never go back to this location! The lady that helped me was very rude! I should have known what I was getting myself into when I first got there, she was rushing everyone. The old man who was before me could barley walk and was having a hard time getting up from the chair and this lady is rushing him to go to the back to get his blood work done. No care what so ever. As for my experience, she was upset I didn’t date my samples I was dropping off. Told me did you not pay attention to what your doctor has told you to do with these. Being that I also work in the medical field, there was no professionalism here, or respect for none of the patients that were there, and being that no one wants to be there in the first place, no comfort was provided as well.

Long wait, they never answer the phone, and very rude. This place is disgusting on a hygeine note, will never go back to a quest office. They deserve zero stars

If i could give it zero or negative stars, I would. Visited here for the first time on 4÷1÷11. A lady name Maria (I believe that was her name) was working the front desk. She was NOT FRIENDLY at all. A pregnant lady walked in at 350pm. They wouldn’t take her as a walk in because she came in 5 minutes late. And they weren’t even nice about it — very rude. I could hear the manager taking about dogs and how pretty this certain one was that she saw. She wasn’t about to waste her time being courteous to the customers. Sad.
What really annoyed me was when the nurse told my 5 year old daughter, «if you move u will get poked twice». How Rude!!! This place is horrible… Learn to show some respect for your customers or please get a new job!
