Glenn returned my call to inquire if he services my area (unfortunately he didn’t). However, he spent some extra time with me chatting about the issues I had and gave me advise on how to handle. Who knew that spiders hate Windex? He was clearly knowledgeable passionate about his work and it comes through so clearly!

Glenn was great!!! Great price and a really nice guy. Very polite and respectful of my home. Over and beyond what I expected. I heard a critter in the ceiling and Glenn didn’t give up on solving the problem. He was very thorough and as a result found an opening in the roof outside where the critter had accessed. He then sealed it up for me. I haven’t heard anything since. Thank you Glenn!

For many years, I was fighting a losing battle against garden ants, spiders, and crickets using homedepot bug sprays and baits around the house. I was somewhat reluctant to use professional services because I have a pet. Anyhow, I’ve found recently that 2 different species of ants have finally gotten through my walls and started to roam around my bathroom then quickly spread to my living room and kitchen area. I had to call it quits and look for a pro.
Colby Pest Control has little but all good reviews and is close to my home. Scheduling was easy and Mr. Colby showed up well within the scheduled time window then he performed the procedures in-​out-​around the house very thoroughly spending nearly 2 hours.
His price isn’t the cheapest like he even said but I would call him again when bugs return and I know they will. I’ll have Colby on my side.

Colby Pest Control has become my go to service for quarterly treatments to our house to keep the critters away. We first requested their service when we bought our home and they are the only pest control company we’ve entertained since. Glen Colby is extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy. They use products that are safe which is very important for us since we have two dogs, and our nieces come over all the time as well. It’s also a plus that they love dogs too! Glenn Colby is awesome! I used his services a few months ago after finding him on Unilocal.Ants were hosting a full frontal attack on our house, and while we, our ant traps, and our vacuum were winning some small battles, we were losing the war. We also had a few widows in our backyard, which normally we wouldn’t be terribly concerned with, but with a new, curious puppy, we thought it best to get rid of them.
In looking for a pest service, we were concerned about the safety of the chemicals and the health of our puppy. I was happy to see that Colby is green shield certified and that they weren’t in the practice of just spraying willy-​nilly.
Glenn was incredible. I have never met a person so passionate about their job. He is a self described bug man, and loved telling me about his past experiences with ants, bedbugs, and spiders. His stories were very entertaining and most importantly, I learned so much about the Argentine ants, their behaviors, how they move, what they look for, etc. He is a wealth of information. He place maybe 2 traps in strategic locations and the ants were gone within days.
When I told him about our backyard widows, he knew exactly where to look for them. In fact, he found one in our sliding door frame, and just picked it up with his fingers. Glenn taught me about the difference between brown widows and black widows, showed me what their webs look like, and showed me where to look for them. He did a thorough web sweep in our backyard as well.
It’s been 3 months and we haven’t seen any widows or ants since. Glenn will be the first person I call if they ever return.

Every time that I call Colby Pest Control they always arrive on time and get the job done completely and thoroughly. If there was ever an issue the problem is resolved with out any muss or fuss. But what else would you expect from 30 years in the business.

I work in property management and the Colby’s have been the pest control vendor since before 2006. Glenn and Elliott are two of the nicest people and they perform high quality work. I will never forget the time Glenn was in the main office and showed a group of eight women how to use a roach trap and explained how it worked, I did tune out most of the bug talk but I appreciate Glenn’s passion for his trade. Keep up the good work guys! Also, Elliott is quite a handsome fellow.

Great company! Green shield certified. Unlike other companies, they do not reflexively reach for the chemicals. They focus on structure evaluation and mechanical controls (i.e. they block the holes and seal the cracks that are allowing pests into your home), and they do top-​notch monitoring. Honestly, the blockades are the single most effective thing you can do. It’s a one-​shot deal, no monthly bill or concerns about developing Parkinson’s disease from years of pesticide exposure. Mechanical controls fix the problem for years-​in some cases, forever. You just need someone who is trained to spot all the places where pests try to enter.
