Specialties
We are a small developmental preschool with excellent student teacher ratios. Our low ratios and small setting make us an ideal setting for young children. We have a beautiful children’s garden which enhances our science program and have a beautiful child appropriate chapel program as well. So our specialty is nurturing the whole child body mind and spirit.
History
Established in 1973.
Our program was started by Emmanuel Episcopal Church in 1973 as a service to the surrounding community. It has remained a popular program in Fullerton all those years. In recent years our church added a community garden and our children participate in this wonderful program with their own section of the garden by planting vegetables and flowers each year. The fall pumpkin patch is probably their favorite time of the year!
Meet the Manager
Nancy S.
Manager
Nancy has worked in early childhood education since she was a senior in high school. She received her B.S. in Child Development in 1984 from Cal State Fullerton and Masters of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary in 2015. She has directed programs since the 1980’s. She serves on the board of the Church Related Early Childhood Education Fellowship and the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles Commission on Schools. She has been at Emmanuel Preschool since 1996.
