Selling a house is a bit stressful, having professionals help in that process is priceless. Suncrest is one of those companies.
I knew I had a termite problem and was dreading the process. Our realtor recommended Suncrest and I’m glad they did.
Marshall (owner) came over to do the inspection. He was friendly, professional and explained the process in detail. He provided us with a quote on what needed to fixed and the tenting. The price was more than reasonable. To be honest, I thought it would have been twice what we were quoted. Needless to say I was happy with the price.
His crew was awesome!
The next step was replacing all the wood the termite damaged. They were Fast, coordinated and meticulous in their work. It was like watching a symphony, everyone had a task to do and they all moved as one. I provided them the paint to match the color scheme of the house and when they were done, I couldn’t even tell where the repaired items were (and it was a lot of damage). Awesome work!
Tenting time:
It’s 3 days, so we evacuated to Legoland Hotel for the duration (rough living, lmao).
We were so busy right before the tenting that we didn’t wrap all the food items in plastic bag as we were instructed. We just figured, we would throw away everything when we got back.
When we got back, to our surprise, the crew had placed all of our food items in plastic bags. ALL of it. The cupboard, the pantry and even the refrigerator! Yes the refrigerator! Awesome!

Termite tenting went well for me. Having never done this before, they put my mind at easy by making it simple to understand what we needed to do to get prepared for the job. Everything they said they’d do, they did, and the job was completed without any hiccups. Good price too. They own their own tenting service so they can offer more competitive rates than other pest control companies that outsource.

I am very sorry for any inconvenience, but your association and property management are the ones who choose when they want to schedule work… not us. Since we were hired by the association and property management, and they are covering all cost, they picked the dates. You can always contact your property manager.

I hired them for the ant issue, they came and do the spray in October. Our place didn’t have big ant problem, i hired them just beacuse they did our termite and we thought might as well get the pest spray to get rid of ants. The next week after they did the spray, i noticed there are still ants here and there in the bathroom. THe guy who came spray and it will take some time for the ants to disappeared. So we waited. As a new home owner, we were so tight up with all the house stuff so i didn’t go back and check on the bathroom until last week (which is about 2 months after the service) — there are still ants in the bathroom.
We will have guest over for christmas and will be using that bathroom, so i called the company this morning to ask if they can come out to check on the bathroom. I explained that i just need the guy to see what’s going on. The lady on the phone said it will be $ 175 to come out since it has past the 30 days guarantee.
I did not agree because the spray is not effective to begin with otherwise i wouldn’t have to call them to come back.
I am not willing to pay another $ 175 for the service on top of a $ 200 that has wasted for service that is not effective. I understand they have their 30 day policy, but very dissapoint of the result.

Our condo HOA has decided to termite fumigate three of our buildings, which each house eight condos. I called Suncrest and talked to a very informative, nice woman about concerns I had when I suspected a date for the work would be set. She assured me that Suncrest requires HOAs to give no less than 60 day notices to residents. Well, we just got our notice in the mail, and it is not 60 days before the work commencement date. Also, the letter demanded that we attend an informative presentation on the 19^th of December, yes, right before Christmas. Who does that? And, the meeting is on the Saturday before Christmas at 10:00 am. Do they not realize that people work other than them? How about an evening meeting? This is the weekend before Christmas, probably the busiest and most demanding weekend of the whole year, for most of us. Very, short sighted and obnoxious of them! Suncrest and our Costa Brava HOA is incredibly rude and insensitive, to schedule a time for our fumigation, January 11^th, immediately following the holidays. And, what either one of them has told anyone, is that weather can cause mid fumigation postponements. El Niño is here, the news is reporting that it will be a bad one this year, so the chance of a postponement is more likely. Thanks for ruining my and the other 23 home residents holidays! You are going to be on Santas’Naughty List this year!

Mr thach, the tech helped earned the single star. Their scheduling is horrible. Push out out the first scheduled date at the last minute. «our tech is out for personal issues»
First actual appointment with them no one showed up. (they claimed no one answered).
Second appointment again is no show.
Finally after two months since we bought the deal from Angie’s list, work was performed.

I hope that all the workers who took care of our extermination are able to read this… Every employee /​employer should know the great appreciation and respect that we have for your company… We left our purses … Some valuables … Very personal things that we intended on taking… But with everything happening … We ended up forgetting it all… However we are so pleased to say … That everything was there … Nothing had been touched!!! We will never choose any other company but you guys… if needed in the future… Not only are you fellas trust worthy!!! But you are so friendly … Kind … Informative … Fast … Efficient … And clean up well… thank you guys!!! And thank you for hiring honest people!!!

I’ve been using Suncrest since 2008 exclusively. As a real estate investor having a company you can rely on is crucial. Having a company you can rely on that has competitive pricing is rare. On top of that having a reliable company with competitive pricing that will go above and beyond on customer service is un freaking believable. Once again the office staff just saved my forgetful self from a self inflicted delay by staying late and calling me to get paper signed that I was supposed to send them a week ago. This wasn’t the first time they saved me and certainly won’t be the last. Saving me today made me realize how great they are and prompted this review. You are in good hands with Suncrest.

I have used Suncrest and Jeff as an inspector for several years and my clients have been happy with his services. His fees are reasonable and they go out of there way to explain and use precautions to protect the home, plants and personal property. Jeff is extremely knowledgeable and professional. I recommend them to anyone who wants an honest evaluation and resolution of pest issues.

I had Matt out from Suncrest yesterday, and today, guess what is missing? The ANTS!!! Yay. We win. I cant believe I waited that long to call. I have been dealing with zombie ants all summer. I talked with Stephanie on the phone and she was very knowledgeable and helpful, and nice to talk too! The price was very reasonable. I felt very comfortable with Matt in my home while spraying. I will be using Suncrest from here on out and highly recommend this company.

I had a very bad experience with Marshall about my wife’s car that got damaged when the canvas tore in half and fell on to her Infiniti FX 35 and scratched the hood, left fender, bumper, left side door and side mirror and left wheel from the heavy canvas and metal spring clamps. The job was done well, but if something goes wrong, Marshall will try to talk his way out of it anyway he can. He told me that he was not responsible for the damage because of the weather. I said what do you mean the weather and he said because of the wind. In reality there was only a 4 mile an hour breeze. I then asked what if the tarp blew onto my neighbor’s house and there was damage, would he be responsible, and Marshall said, «No, because of the wind, I’m not responsible.» I then said, «I guess you’re not responsible for anything then» and Marshall said, «That’s right». I also have light– weight tiles on my roof and in the contract Marshall was to repair the tiles that were damaged. When he first came to the house to see the tiles and take a sample, he said that he would mix up the colors and get the light– weight tiles, but when the crew came out to repair the roof, they brought out the heavy– weight tiles in just one color. I called Marshall up and Marshall said in the contract that he didn’t have to match the tiles, just come close. I said my roof was not designed for the heavy– weight tiles and he started calling me names and using the (A) word to describe me. Not a very good businessman, I would say. So, a warning to whomever it may concern. I know Marshall has received many good reviews, but if there should arise problems, i.e. damage to property, (my wife’s car) he may also tell you he is «not responsible» and therefore does not have to correct/​repair the damages. The total cost to repair my wife’s car was $ 2,000.00 plus $ 200.00 for car rental. I wish Marshall on nobody.

The previous owner of our home had used Suncrest to do a termite inspection. When we noticed subterranean termites a little over a year later, we called Suncrest and noted that we had seen symptoms several months ago but didn’t realize the tiny mudfilled pinholes were caused by termites.
Suncrest did a full inspection and provided an estimate at a very fair price.
The job was very thoroughly and professionally done. The team moved quickly and was very friendly. They answered every question we had and did a complete walk-​through of the home (inside and out) after the work was complete.

After extensive online research as well as getting three other bids and dealing with another exterminator on an unrelated project, Marshall not only came in with a price hundreds of dollars below the other bidders but was personable, forthcoming and informative. It was a pleasure to deal with him.
On ‘tenting day’ his crew arrived on time and made short work of tenting our two-​story home without damaging anything, even working around antennas on the roof and protecting nearby plants. When it was time to open the house they were again on time and removed the ‘tent,’ again without doing any damage. These guys were fast!
When residual fumes affected my hyper-​sensitive wife Suncrest immediately dispatched a crew to provide us with fans to help ventilate the house for a couple days, service above and beyond what was bargained for.
Upon moving to a new home shortly after having our old home fumigated, Marshall readily came to the new home and inspected it at no charge.
I will employ Suncrest in the future and recommend them to friends and family without reservation.
