Pure Plates

Two stars because I feel obligated to support vegan /​gluten free.
Had a hard time finding this place, so I gave them a call… a few. They didn’t answer, but we assumed they were busy. After about 10 minutes of circling around, we finally found it. Went inside, it was completely empty. No atmosphere and weird lighting. One guy I could see working (who looked like he couldn’t care less), others I could hear in the back. Not a pleasent experience. If you’re looking for this kind of grab and go sort of thing, I much prefer Snap Kitchen or Eat-​Zis… even Whole Foods! For the price, atmosphete, quality and most importantly service.
Oddly enough what really irritated me to write this review… they called me back! Two days later! I mean, I guess that’s cool thanks for the return phone call? But I didn’t leave a voicemail, and that’s a pretty late return call for this kind of establishment. Just strange.

Liked this place the minute I entered. Luckily, the food was great too! I will definitely be returning. I’m currently on a strict paleo/​auto-​immune protocol and they had more than one thing I could eat. Those of you that have had to do any kind of restricted eating plan, you know what a joy it is to find a place that you can safely eat. Can’t wait for them to expand and move south with more locations!

Super convenient and the food is actually great! My fave is the chicken rellano! So good and awesome flavor! I would highly recommend!

What a gem of a place. I came across this place in my fall coupon book and decided to check it out. They are among the set of shops at the corner of Mall Road F and Gaylord parkway.
They have online ordering. So ordered southwest fish tacos for myself and beef stir fry for my hubby. We loved our food, tasted fresh, perfect seasoning and portion. Also got their pumpkin mini muffins. They have a 5 count and a 12 count pack. Definitely not the butter and sugar loaded bakery muffins but I loved it, something to round off my meal which is not loaded with calories.
I had to try a few more items before my review, so ordered lunch again this week — greek chicken wrap and a zucchini brownie. My fellow Unilocalers are so right, this wrap is just so delicious. The wrap itself is very thin and is loaded with shredded chicken and julienne veggies. And zucchini brownie is so yum, it does not taste anything like zucchini and its not too sweet at all.
They have a good variety and their price is quite reasonable for their quality. They have other health food products like protein. Waiting to try their breakfast items. Definitely a must try if you are into health food.

If you’re looking for something healthy and fast, this is a great place to try. I bought the Early Bird wrap (ground turkey, spinach, and sweet potatoes) which was very filling, as well as a zucchini brownie. The lady who was working was extremely helpful and nice.

The food is delicious here the only down fall is that you heat up the food in a microwave; its kind of an oxymoron for a place that specialize in healthy food.

I went in here on a whim and ended up getting some Quest bars since they are 15% off of a dozen and have such a large variety. I would never try the prepared food but happened upon an online deal to get $ 30 worth of food for $ 15. If you are getting entrees they are roughly $ 9-​$ 11 each so the deal is very helpful. That being said, I really am not sure that I would purchase them unless I had the deal. Granted you would spend around $ 9 for fast food and this is a great option if you need something to eat and want to be healthier. I purchased 3 meals to keep at work for lunch but would not invest in this for all meals as I tend to cook most meals and can make them healthy for cheaper. BUT… if you don’t like to cook and can afford it, the meals are good. I had the veggie lasagna and loved it but looking at the ingredients, I can make this myself and for $ 10 have several portions. Again, if you don’t like to cook, this place is a good option. I like to cook so this really is just a place I will use when I don’t bring my lunch to work for whatever reason and want a healthier option. I would also say that the folks that work in here are great. Very polite and professional. They seem to really know their stuff and don’t push anything on you. They do open at 8am which is nice if you have a few minutes to stop in for breakfast as well.

I got the Earlybird wrap and it was very filling and good. The owner was there and he said it’s one of their bestsellers! The lady behind the counter was very helpful to and offered a lot of suggestions on what I might like to try.
I wanted a healthy lunch and a fast lunch! The wraps did fit the criteria although it said they needed to be warmed in the microwave. I really try not to use the microwave so that was discouraging. I ate one without microwaving it since the meal is fully cooked and only needs to be microwave if you want it warmed.
It tasted great although the wrap was crunchy. The other one I microwaved at home and it was good the difference was the wrap was soft.
Great place to go if you want to stay healthy or make some healthy changes.

I am absolutely hooked on this place. Love it! I just relocated from another state that did not have places such as Pure Plates or even Fit Foods for that matter and I am so glad there is one right down the street from me now.
I’m surprised to see the negative reviews on the food as I have yet to find a meal that I find not flavorful or ill prepared. There might be a meal or two that I don’t personally like based on my taste buds but even then it is still a well prepared dish with flavor. My favorite would have to be the Chili Relleno (EXCELLENT) and with a close second being the Cobb Salad which has lots of protein. Additionally, the bison chili, the chicken skewers and the Greek wrap are delicious. I also find the portions to be perfect. The store offers several other organic, healthy snacks and I have tried several. There are prepackaged cookies by «Wow» and I haven’t tried one I don’t like yet. The prices are reasonable, I can spend the same amount of money visiting Chik-​fil-​a and get a less healthy meal packed with sodium and carbs.
The staff has always been extremely helpful and hospitable. Additionally I learned that every employee is in the health industry and has some degree of education on fitness, health foods, nutrition, etc. Therefore you are getting helpful advice from a knowledgably source. The store is always very clean and organized as well. I did visit the local competition «Fit Foods» once and I haven’t been back. The service was not comparable and I didn’t find the meals that appealing or that flavorful. My husband frequented Fit Foods for the last few years and when I told him about Pure Plates and he tried it, he was also hooked and agreed the meals were much better. I definitely recommend!

Great food. Very convenient for weeknights, was amazed by the quality and taste considering everything is gluten free and clean eating which often times becomes bland. Good job!

Everything I have tried from here taste very good and it’s very convenient. The plate’s price is reasonable, just like eating fast food but healthier. The staff is very helpful so I loaded up for the whole week. Very satisfied every time I go.

YUMMMY! Pure Plates has delicious, nutritious food and I love it. Someone mentioned it’s a great option compared to frozen meals full of sodium and I absolutely agree. Whenever you go there is always someone nice, helpful and knowledgeable to help and ask questions. My husband is going out of town soon and since it’s close to the holidays I’ll be getting my lunch and dinner there every night while he’s gone, gives me more time to decorate and clean my house.

Try the Detox Salad, OMG it is so good. This place was a very welcome surpise as I had been getting disenchanted with My Fit Foods. Their food is delicious, the choices are plenty. I love that they have other things along the healthy line, snacks, drinks, sweets, vitamins. More Vegan option’s too! One of the few places you can find the Alkaline water and the Green tea is awesome. Very clean, and always treated very well by staff. Get out of the fast food rut and go here, your body will thank you!!!

I love this place. Food is great and very healthy. I like going for lunch since you can have lunch there and no wait time.

I love Pure Plates! I found it by accident late last summer and for a while I was going there on an almost daily basis. I eat a lot of frozen dinners and Pure Plates is such a better option because their food is fresh and not full of sodium. But you have to be informed… don’t expect this food to taste like super-​flavorful fast food because it’s healthy. Essentially, what the reviewer Bryan F. said… that’s right on target.
My favorites are the Street Pork Tacos, the bison chili, the spaghetti squash with meat sauce and the chopped salad (not sure what it’s actually called). Their dressing is wonderful!
The only reason I don’t go all the time any more is that it’s a little expensive to do on a daily basis. I’ve learned to eat healthier, though, because of Pure Plates and it has influenced my decision to eat more fresh foods instead of frozen.
The employees always seem helpful. Really, I haven’t had a bad experience here. There are a few things I ate that I didn’t care for, but that’s to be expected.

Saw all the negative reviews so I thought it was time for me to give my review.
To the people saying the food was bland, this food is meant to be healthy. Any time you eat low sodium food you can expect the food to not be as flavorful as the alternative that is high in sodium. That being said, I had to be on a low sodium diet for about six months and I wish I would have known about this place.
I’ve eaten a lot of different items here and my favorites are the pork tacos, bison chili, and the Greek chicken wraps. I stop here a lot after leaving the gym and the Greek chicken wraps are my go to item since you can eat it cold and in the car. When I have time to sit and eat the bison chili is great and high in protein. It is a little on the spicier side but delicious none the less. It comes on top of a bed of kale. Pork tacos are mixed with cabbage and red onions and go great with the provided salsa and tortillas. I have also had the turkey wraps, Greek salad with the chicken breast, pumpkin muffins and I’m sure a few other items.
The staff is friendly and will answer any questions you have. Most of the time there is only one person here and could be why one reviewer was saying they don’t answer the phone. I’ve never tried to call them but I know they make the food in the back so this might be way. Overall I love this place and am very happy with their food. If you need some quick healthy food this is your place!

Bought the Groupon deal since we’ve tried several places with a similar concept. Employees have always been very friendly and helpful. My husband and I really wanted to like this place. I just don’t think the food is very flavorful. After eating a meal, I start to crave more food because the food wasn’t flavorful enough and wasn’t satisfying enough. One of their competitors down the street has much better food.

I stopped by here today for the first time based on a referral from a friend. I’m so thrilled to know about this place. It’s everything I was hoping and MORE… The Fish Tacos are amazing as well as the Pork Street Tacos. The owner is very friendly and helpful and the prices are very reasonable! Thank you Pure Plates!!!
