Nice thin crust. Tasty sauce and the garlic knots are amazing !!!

I’ve yet to try anything here except the regular large pie, but that alone is delicious. Thin crust and great sauce! The delivery is fast and the food is always consistent. $ 15 for a large(and by large I mean HUGE) cheese pizza is a great price. They’re also open until 11pm which is a big plus.

Really good Pizza. The chicken Caesar salad pizza is the best. A1 service every time I went. For a pizza spot the inside is very nice and welcoming and always clean.

They renovated the place. Looks really good. Definitely needed it. Pizza is still good. The short bald guy that’s always making the pizza never smiles. He always looks mad at the world.

Hand’s down the best pizza on Union Tpke, besting the pathetic pizza joints within the SJU vicinity for miles. Even the dishes are good, and they now have a chicken Caesar bowl.

This place has been around for years but not like this! This place is beautiful and their pizza is on point.

I would rate Romeo’s four and a half stars. Romeo’s perpetuates one of the sacred principles of New York: you can find a crispy, delicious, and cheap slice of pizza anywhere in the metropolitan area. I’m talking about that thin crust, with good quality cheese, and just the right amount of tomato sauce. Romeo’s serves one of my favorite regular slice in Queens(second only to New Park). For those of you interested in interior décor, Romeo’s was recently renovated; thus, the restaurant has a more modern appearance than most pizzerias.

I’d give it 3 stars as average but I’m deducting a few stars on the following points: Cash only, you need to be really exceptional to be worth the hassle of taking cash. Value, I’ll go into more detail below, but I paid $ 26 for the chicken Caesar pie that everyone seems to recommend. Not even a traditional pizza full size, but probably 14 or 16 inches. Same as a large papa john’s. Ordered a takeout chicken Caesar pie, which didn’t have a price on the board, but was $ 26 fine, a bit pricey but reviews on Unilocal were extremely positive. They gave me the wrong pie(sausage) which I didn’t check till I got home. Called them up and they asked what I wanted to do, I said I’d come back. They swapped it out, no fuss, but also nothing substantial as an apology(as in, keep the old pie, free garlic knots etc). The pizza is thin crusted which was ok, if you are looking for that, it is a decent thin crust. Pizza itself was ok, my wife did not care for it, but nothing exceptional. I’d say it’s average, comparable to Valentino’s or Napoli.

Where do I start? Romeo’s pizza is hands down, the best pizza! The entrees are as delicious. This family owned pizzeria has been here for years. Well managed with a welcoming atmosphere. Loving the new décor. Keep up the great work guys

This place used to be Joe’s so, we still call it Joe’s. The current establishment is actually better than Joe’s. A decent slice, nothing really more to say than that. It’s ok. It’s pizza. 2 star slice, which isn’t really a bad thing, it just doesn’t move me.

These are the kind of spots I miss when I’m out west. These mom and pop pizzerias that are neighborhood institutions, were quintessential to anyone’s gastronomic rotation, growing up in NYC. Ask any True Yorker, each one will have a very personal answer to what their favorite, local pizzaria was growing up. Romeo’s was my go-to around-da-way pizzeria, mainly for two reasons: the chicken caesar slice and the grandma slice. Their regular slices are legit but IMO, the former are the standout, must orders.(for breakdown of the food read the previous reviews as they have covered all the salient points) It is impressive that after all these years they have remained successful and maintained a quality product without much deviation. It is a welcome thought, knowing you can always return home and have a slice of your youth and still have it taste the same as it was. Romeo’s Pizza, stay awesome forever!

The pizza is good(Caesar salad slice is nice) but I personally love their entres especially the chicken or the shrimp francese,(Omg) Crazy yummy! Don’t forget to ask for some Parmesan cheese on the side :) I would have given them five stars but, the only thing I wish they would change, is that they only take cash. Come on guys! Especially for a large order :/ These days it’s so much easier to just swipe your card and keep it moving. Also the parking here is terrible which makes running in and out kind of essential.

Not the best pizza and their attitudes match the quality. This is not the best pizza in town.

When I moved back to Queens from Brooklyn I was sad to leave my old pizzeria, however, now that I’ve found Romeo’s the hole in my heart and my tummy has been healed. They have been the long-standing go-to neighborhood pizzeria for my boyfriend, and after having had their food on several occasions over a length of time I can testify that they consistently serve up quality food at a fair price and in timely fashion. Top notch marinara sauce for my mozzarella sticks as well, something many pizza joints seem to dial in… but not these guys! Good pizza, good sized portions… No complaints.

Who would have thought Chicken Caesar Salad Pizza would be so good. It was there and I just said I have to try that tonight. They warmed it up a bit and what a great change from the standby pepperoni pizza. G had the white pizza and I did taste it and it was good also. The crust is thin on both of these pizzas and not burnt but yet still crispy. G also ordered this sausage and peppers thing in garlic wrapped dough. I did not try that but it looked very good and he said it was good. I trust his word. Now we regularly order from another Pizza place not too far away, but amazingly Romeo’s also delivers to our home area, so this might be another order from place. The garlic knots in the display area looked really tasty, but I was a bit tired after working all day and the Chicken Caesar Salad Pizza slice was just enough. There is seating in the back on of the store or you can just get your slice to go. The guys behind the counter are very personable. I would definitely stop here again for a slice or a pie for a party. The only down side is the horrific parking situation on this street. No off street parking and a few spots down the neighborhood block. Parking during the day is feed the meter.

4 words… Chicken.Caesar.Salad.Pizza!!! Other then that, this is your typical no frills local pizzeria joint. But I was surprised on how much I actually like the Chicken Caesar Salad Pizza. The slice itself is super thin, which I prefer. The chicken cutlet is cooked perfectly and not dry at all, salad still taste fresh and that Caesar salad dressing is delicious!

After going to the eye doctor up the block with my kids, we were all hungry & wanted something fast. I turned to Unilocal as I always do & found this spot; walked in and everything in the display looked amazing! We order a large pie, which meet my expectations is every way possible. Vito was very friendly & helpful which is the kind of customer service that should be given everywhere! I also tried the chicken Caesar slice that everyone was raving about; I couldn’t believe how good it was. To me it was basically a flavorful salad with well season chicken cutlets on baked flatbread. I do recommend everyone to try this place out, high five for always pleasing the customers need. I shall be back =)

Come in. Look the counterperson in the eye. Say you want a chicken caesar slice. Eat it. And leave. This place is world renowned for their chicken caesar slice. It’s amazingly delicious. A grand mess to eat any way you try but the taste is incomparable. I’ve been eating here for the majority of my life, and I hope it stays that way. I hope they get online ordering sometime soon tho, but nothing beats good old fashioned calling it in.

This review is a few days old. I have been meaning to write on the day, but oh well things happen:) well first of all I walked in about thirty minutes to closing. I believe the owner was getting ready to close up as I saw he was mopping up the floor. I glanced at the counter and there was a scarce amount of pizza left over. I asked if he could make a large pie with pepperoni and he gladly took my order. The pie was ready within ten minutes which was sweet. Fresh and appearance wise it looked scrumptious which is what I look for! When it was time to pay I handed over my 20 bucks and he rang up 18.00. The pie itself was 16.95. I asked for a receipt and he didn’t seem too accommodating and almost as if ignored me. I asked a second time and he scribbled it on a pad and then gave it to me. When I asked to sprinkle some garlic and pepper flakes it was as if he was rushing me out closing the box before I finished. On to the pizza it was very cheesy and had more dough than I expected. Extremely greasy and it was almost soupy. I don’t mind greasy pizza and it was not terrible. I am just used to the bottom having a strong barrier and equally balanced cheese, crust and sauce ratio. Overall I would eat here again. I love pizza. Sometimes people have an off night.
