Refered by a friend. Not sure if this is a good dental office for new customers. As nobody picked up the phone, I left a message for appointment, no calls for a few days!

Took me a long time to finally find a dentist. Dr. Okazaki is awesome and I love the friendly staff.

Just a note to my Dentist of many years, Dr. Theodore Okazaki in Fremont, Ca. If any of you need a wonderful, caring and great work dentist this is your man!
A fairwell note to the best dentist this world has ever seen! Dr O, it is with great regret that I have to say good-​bye to you as my dentist. My retirement benefits have changed and it just kills me to have to leave as being your patient! My dental that I have now no longer covers «Out of Network» frown emoticon This makes me very sad. Not only has your work held up in my mouth for years and years, not only will I miss the pain free dentistry that you performed but I owe you so much thanks for how you treated John just days before his passing, how you worked on him at his request and what you did for me after his passing. You know what you did and I will never be able to repay your kindness for that act of compassion. So to your future I wish you the best of everything in life and in business and I will continue to hold you and your family and your staff in my prayers. Thank you for all that you have done for my family and my daughter’s family. So glad that God brought you into our lives. Continued success to you. I truly mean that you are the best dentist this world has ever seen. Please stay in touch with your Christmas cards and say hello once in while.

All the staff, from the reception desk to the dental chair, are genuinely friendly to you and greet you by your name.
Dr Okazaki’s team all work with the latest dental technology.
After having tried other dentists more conveniently located to me, I’ve come to the conclusion that the service level I’ve received at Dr O’s Office is almost impossible to match, and is worth the drive.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Okazaki and his staff. I have been with him for as long as he’s had his business. My three children grew up with him as their Dentist and now their wives and husbands are with him as well. His staff is incredible and their kindness, professionalism and compassion is the absolute best. Tari runs the office and you always know where you stand with insurance and financial issues, she is simply the best! I have lead many a client to him and continue to do so. You would be well served to make him your Dentist. Enough said!

I’ve been going here for years and Okazaki is always quick and precise when getting the job done. He is friendly and never a pain to go see (as dentists are infamous for). This last time I met Rachelle, an assistant I haven’t met before, but we talked the entire time I was there and she’s so cool. I think we became bffs :)

My first time at Dr Okazaki today was a very satisfying experience. I had neglected my teeth far too long and had a front tooth infected and in what I thought was a hopeless state. I was completely expecting an extraction. Dr Ted worked me into his schedule, someone was at my chairside in minutes with an estimate based on my coverage, and we were off and running. I walked out with a saved tooth and my discomfort abated. So glad I went in. So glad to be back on the road to good dental health with such a great doctor and team. Please go see Dr. Okazaki.

I’ve never written a Unilocal review before, but I’ve never walked away from a dentist happy before. Dr. Okazaki and all the staff are great — friendly, soothing, answer questions, check in on how you are. I have had fillings that are more painful than the root canal here, and the view was lovely too.

I was referred to Dr. Okazaki’s office nearly 2 years ago and I’m so glad I made the call! Every visit I’ve had, whether it be a procedure or just a cleaning and exam, I’ve not experienced any pain. «Dr. O» (as they call him) has a way of administering the shot without feeling it. Who knew that could happen! He has also redone some previous dental work that I was having problems with. He is very thorough and explains in detail. His entire staff is friendly, professional and helpful. If you are looking a great dentist, this is the one!

New to the Fremont area and decided to book an appointment with Dr. Okazaki. Unilocal reviews looked impressive and my visit indeed owned up to it.
Staff is very friendly. Amber performed my Xrays and Cleaning and was extremely gentle and friendly. She indeed made my visit very relaxing and welcoming. Kudos for Amber. Dr. Okazaki is very Professional and Friendly. Indeed a very welcoming team. The office is clean and up to date with impressive equipment.

Dr. O gave me my smile back in 2008! After a long period of utter poverty, my teeth, gums, bone were a mess. Dr. O. and techs were Non-​judgmental and supportive. Dr. O is Hip. Cool. Caring. Talented. Love Dr. O and his amazing staff.
Recently had a 25-​yr old crown replaced. Completely painless, one-​stop process. Crown looks like real tooth and perfect color. Referred many coworkers over the years — of course everybody referred loves Dr. O and his staff. 10 STARS!

I’ve been VERY happy with the service and professional care I’ve received at Dr. O’s office. The office is always clean and the staff is nothing short of wonderful. I appreciate their no-​pressure approach and their use of modern technologies. Highly recommended.

Dr. O is the best. My family has been going to him since the beginning. Dr. O knows his stuff, has the most up to date equipment/​technology and great demeanor. He’ll present all alternatives/​options and not be overly aggressive. His concern is the patient. Can you imagine not even feeling him numb you out or having to wait for days for crowns? (does it same day) You can also watch movies while sitting in his plus chairs.
Office staff and dental professionals are awesome as well. Be good to Tary, she runs the show.

I have been with Dr. Okazaki since he first started about 20 – 25 years ago. I have moved several times but never thought about changing dentists. His staff is amazing and they keep up with the latest technology. Despite having to go for whatever work I need, I’m almost disappointed when they finish before the movie ends (almost). No place is perfect but if there is ever a problem or concern, they are very good at fixing or going out of their way to make it up.
Love their yearly cards they send out, Happy Birthday texts and reminders. Not to mention that Dr. O is also a cutie and his kids are tough as nails competitors on the basketball court.

shopped around for a new dentist in the area. read my share of reviews and i was fooled over quantity vs quality. i’ve read the reviews here carefully to notice consistencies and was wondering what people were raving about.
i came here with extremely high expectations, what I can tell you on why Dr. O and his staff is the best is that they value your comfort and go out of their way to make sure you feel good the entire time. Any dentist can perform procedures, but the service and conscious efforts these guys go through to make sure you are not in too much pain (there is a little, let’s be honest here).
I live in San Jose now, but they are my #1 dentist practice for many many years to come. Oh — all their gear is top-​notch! and the give away tooth brushes aren’t the crappy onces, it’s my daily brusher — they seriously take you seriously! :)

I have been seeing Dr. O for over 20 years now. I used to live close by but I have since moved and must drive almost an hour to get to him. I would drive two or three hours if I had to. There is no better dentist in my opinion. I have had an implant done, root canal, veneers, etc. no work that Dr. O has done has ever had to be redone. The office is very nice and calm, the staff is fantastic and Dr. O is amazing!
He uses high-​tech gear and he is very keen on making sure you are fully numb before drilling. I have referred maybe 10 people to this office and all of them are equally happy.
Go see Dr. O, you won’t be disappointed.

Been going to Dr. O since I was kid and from now on, my kids will be going to him!
Brought our son in today to his original pediatric dentist for his cavities and extraction of a tooth and they told us they need to put him under and that it would be $ 700 cash only and that no insurance will cover it. They were sooooo sure that no insurance covers it. Hello! Red flag. So I called Dr. O’s office and they told us that he doesn’t need to go under and they don’t know why they told us that. Fortunately, Dr. O has an opening today and we brought our son in. They prioritize his tooth extraction before the cavities and they handled that first. They put on a movie for him and was done within the hour or less. He didn’t cry or anything. No general anesthesia or laughing gas like his pediatric dentist said he needed. Thank Goodness!!! He’s a lil swollen but totally fine!
From now on we will be bringing in our kids here. The staff and Dr. O are wonderful with the kids and makes them feel comfortable. The dentist can be scary for lil ones and we are sooo happy that they aren’t here.

Doctor Okazaki is the best. I hate the dentist, and I met his aunt who told me that he was the best dentist. I had great anxiety going to any dentist, I finally broke down and he is wonderful!!! He has been my dentist for over 12 years… he is the most gentle, sensitive dentist around.
I highly recommend him, and have to several friends, and they love him too… ;)
