First Steps Family Day Care (License #: 13 419 803) is a home based preschool. We want to be part of your child’s first steps to early childhood education: cognitive, social, emotional and physical development. Children will be provided with developmentally age appropriate curriculum to help them with their respective needs.

Established in 2008.

Irma Pantaleon-​Saturnio opened First Steps Family Day Care Summer 2008. Within 6 months of opening First Steps had full enrollment. With the increase of demand, First Steps License increased from a small day care license (8 capacity) to a large day care license (14 capacity) in June 2009.

Business Owner

Irma Saturnio had 5 years of teaching experience in various preschool centers in the San Jose area. She has a Teachers Permit issued by the State of California. She has a kind heart and loves to work with young children. She has enriched many young lives through her passion to teach toddlers and preschoolers age appropriate activities. She started First Steps Family Day Care to start a business of her own to continue to enrich young children like she did in her previous work experience as Preschool Teacher. Someday she would like to open a Preschool Center of her own
