I usually binge shop when I make a trip to the motherland, but after I discovered this place I have been happier than ever. The prices are very reasonable and the clothing is super cute! Navdeep has suits and lenghas that will cater to your needs. I recently went back just today and probably made my 6^th purchase in the past 2 months. Loving it!!! Definitely must try this place out!

I am go glad I found this place! Was looking for outfits to wear at a couple of weddings in India. This place had the perfect selections– right from anarkalis to lehengas to lachhas. Neelu (the owner) spent over an hour and half with me to help try on and pick the perfect dresses based on my tastes! She is very helpful and personable and I would definitely keep going back to her for new arrivals.

I came in for a last minute dandia outfit and was so glad I didn’t have to keep searching. She’s got a better selection than most stores I’ve been to in Bay Area. I’m usually picky so the fact that I found more than 1 thing I liked surprised me. As a petite woman, it’s usually hard to find my size but she was able to show me a a ghagra, anarkali, salwar suit, and kurti that fit me well AND that I fell in love with. I say store but really it is a garage in her home. Don’t let that fool you, I came in with low expectations but ended up leaving with more purchases than I intended to. No regrets! The dandia outfit I bought was exactly what I wanted. Now about price, she’s very reasonable and even extended the same courtesy to my friends that I’ve referred. I’ll be back when she gets more outfits and this time with more money to spend. I should also add that she’s not pushy in selling her products which I appreciate, a nice touch of friendly customer service on top of it all.

The owner is always patient & very helpful. I’ve gone back & purchased quite a few outfits from here. The clothes are well tailored & the price is competitive.

I was attending an Indian wedding for the first time, and it was important to me to make a good impression on my boyfriend’s family. The owners of this shop were very helpful on the phone, as well as in person, helping me find appropriate clothes for the occasion. I was very happy with the dress they helped me selected – it was a reasonable price and lovely. I got a number of compliments on the dress from both my boyfriend and his family.

Awesome costumer service. Neelu was super sweet and kind. Her personality is what makes everyone comment such sweet words. She knows her product well and she has great selection. I wasn’t planning to buy but ended up buying. She treats her customers well and doesn’t force anything upon them. Prices are sooo much better than any Asian clothes store i been to in the Bay Area. I will be back for sure! Thank so so much for a great experience.

The owner, Neelu is very helpful with picking up the right dress for you. She quotes a good price compared to every other market price I have tried around in Bay Area.
Her store is in vogue with all the present fashion and has reasonable prices with great quality. She advertises less compared to many other stores but that’s what they say «you don’t need much Marketing with great quality products, word of mouth is enough!». Truly!
Can’t wait to see the shop grow with more collections and Bollywood influence!

Navdeep is very helpful and calm. She offers a great selection with fair prices. We bought seven beautiful outfits for a wedding. She was so patient in help us deciding. We didn’t feel rushed or compelled to buy. Loved my experience. I’ll definitely go again.

I had a great experience at the store. The store owner was super helpful and suggested multiple dresses, most of which, fit me perfectly; a very pleasant surprise considering my petite frame :). The quality of the dresses, suits and lehengas are very good. I ended up buying a dress which was of the colour I wanted and was something quite new and trendy. Big thumbs up for the collection. I am definately going back to shop for more! :)

If I could give Trendybites 6 stars I would do so without hesitation. I have shopped here for about 2 years. Neelu — Owner is very professional and customer service oriented. Outstanding response to my inquiries is what makes me return each time I need clothes. I have always walked away feeling happy about my purchases. She has a great selection of Indian outfits with reasonable pricing. With the convenience of her business hours it makes it so much easy to shop even on days most Indian stores are closed.

I had an amazing experience. Navdeep was very helpful and actually gave me honest feedback/​opinions on what looked good on me. This place is definitely a gem. I am going back for sure.

I went to this place to research the options for an Indian ceremony I was going to attend. Being a tall/​thin person, its generally harder for me to find Indian clothes which fit well, or even ones which can be altered reasonably.
After having a trip to Berkeley, I turned to Unilocal to see places in east bay. This place was an absolute savior and I ended up making a purchase right away. The options are not overwhelming, but the collection is reasonably diverse and well priced. She also has stuff for regular wear.
I definitely recommend it inspite of the slight inconvenience of getting an appointment before hand. I did get my appointment within 30 mins of when I called her.

As an American attending a wedding in India, I wanted to make sure I was dressed correctly. I set out to find someone who could help me find dresses that were easy to wear and likeable. Navdeep encouraged me try on half of her inventory and also helped me pick out which outfit to wear each day I was in India. I was confident and comfortable the entire time I was there, and received many compliments along the way.
If you need tons of help, or are a pro, I’m sure that this is the place to shop. :-)

I found myself in the unenviable position of discovering, the night before my friend’s wedding, that I’d left ALL my indian clothes at my parents’ house across the country. I’d wasted half my indian vacations scouring the clothing stores because of the horror stories I’d heard about the markup on clothes in America. So you can imagine how the prospect of a last minute search for indian clothes filled me with dread.
I found Trendybites on Unilocal and they seriously saved me. I was lured in by the promise of affordable clothes and they delivered. It was kind of a schlep from SF but totally worth it — I found multiple gorgeous outfits that cost less than I would have spent in Mumbai. None of my friends could believe how cheap they were! To top things off, I told the owner over the phone that I needed a lengha for a garba. She went out and got 5 at the last minute in a range of colors, sizes, and prices. Amazing. The owner was also incredibly helpful and very honest. No bargaining, no markup, nothing. She was straightforward and clear about everything.
I can’t say enough good things about Trendybites. Next time I go to India, I may actually be able to see my family and not waste my days in the clothing shops.

What an amazing find! My family was invited to an Indian wedding, and I had no clue as to what I should wear for the festivities. I had gotten a lot of advice from friends, and decided to try and find a suitable outfit, not an easy task, as I am pretty curvy. I went to many stores, and always found the dresses very expensive.
As a last resort, I looked on Unilocal,and found Trendybites Indian Dresses. I called the owner, and she told me that she had a lot of choices, and all of them were very reasonably priced. I told her of my figure «dilemma» and she said that she could take one look at me, and let me know if she would have anything to fit me. We drove to her home in Fremont, and entered her garage, where she has racks of dresses all along the walls. From one look at me, she pointed me to a rack filled with beautiful dresses. I tried on one after the other, and they all FIT! They were all beautiful, and now I had the hard task of choosing just one for the wedding. It was such a nice problem to have… too many choices… and they were all very reasonably priced.
I loved my dress so much, I brought my teenage daughter back two days later, and she picked out a beautiful outfit to wear to the wedding as well.
Trendybites is a great find, and I will definitely tell all of my friends that if they need a dress for any special occasion, this is the place to go.
