What a difference four months makes! The owner has managed to fully stock his store with oodles of mid-​century goodness, be it atomic, Mad Men, rock-​and-​roll, diner, or tiki. This time I saw at least half a dozen things I really, REALLY wanted but just couldn’t justify buying right now, OR, I already had something similar; for example, do I really, REALLY need a fourth Hollywood Regency-​style hamper?
This store has a very different feel from the others on the strip. It’s not fussy, it’s a lot hipper, and it’s definitely tongue-​in-​cheek. I very much like the direction the owner has taken. I think this might be my new favorite store in Niles.
