Quick simple inexpensive dinner for four. Nice seating, warm, free popcorn. Meals are not spectacular, but reliable and food is fair price, comfortable environment and predictable. Near a BJ’s Wholesale and the Forge Park train station, so 99 gets plenty of business here. Son had a nice hamburger and fries — well cooked and he enjoyed immensely. Daughter had a huge dish of pasta with chicken, though it was light on the tomato sauce and heavy on the cheese — she seemed to enjoy, but at one point she said, the dish seemed never-ending, as she hardly made a dent in the pasta. Wife had a petite steak, mushrooms and baked potato, and I had a turkey burger with the works. Great burger, though not beef, but all the toppings — bacon, grilled onions, mushrooms, lettuce, tomato really hid the dryness of the turkey burger. Server was attentive and it was a warm setting. Will be back.

My first time eating here and The bartender recommended the Angus chopped steak on garlic mashed potatoes with asparagus and it was pretty darn good, best chopped steak I’ve ever had. The service from the bartender was excellent, she asked my name and called me by it the entire time I was there. She knows her beer, treats you like you’ve been going there for years… what more could you ask for?

I was meeting a client for lunch. We were supposed to meet across the street but that restaurant didn’t open until noon, so we tried 99. This was my first time eating at a 99 restaurant. The client likened it to an Applebees. I found the experience and food to be a bit better than that. I settled on the large portion of salmon with rice and broccoli. The food came out quickly and the salmon(for being a chain restaurant) was actually pretty good. The rice was so-so and the broccoli didn’t have much flavor at all. I would try 99 again.

After a failed attempt to order Cheeseburgers from Longhorn where they took the order and never placed it and was horrible service that made me walk out, I was still craving a good cheeseburger. I figured we would try the takeout from 99. What a world of difference. My wife called and placed the order and when I walked in I was immediately greeted by an employee who was really sweet and pleasant. They had the order written down perfectly. I paid and the waitress I paid came back almost immediately with my order. Everything was packed perfectly for takeout. The cheeseburgers were delicious and exactly what I was craving. The place is really nice, clean and above all else the workers are on the ball. Sorry Longhorn but I will Never be returning and from now on my go to is the 99 !!! They should be called the 100 because they gave 100% and I was 100% satisfied. Thank you!

I came here on the last night of a 3 week long business trip and am upset I didn’t come to this place sooner! I’d been eating at some decent places in Franklin but wish I had come here to dine sooner! Our server, Chris, was top notch. So freaking friendly and affable. Even if the food was horrible, which it wasn’t, I’d still come back here just to have drinks and sit at one of his tables. We had a group of 7 and they have these cool arrangement where a wall between two adjoining booths can be sunk down to make it one long table. That was awesome for our big group. We also came on 49 cent wing night, so obviously the majority of our table partook in that. The margaritas were also $ 3.99(!!!). I mean, I thought I had died and gone to heaven(even though my company was paying for my meals, I can’t turn down a good deal). Great quality American style food, and the lobster roll and Shoreline combo looked great. Great value and great quality food. Also, as we were leaving we saw that they were conducting trivia in the adjoining bar! And you could actually hear the guy conducting it talk! We had been going to trivia at The British Beer Company for the past few weeks and noise had continually been an issue during our dinners there. The next time I find myself in Franklin, you can find me at 99.

Came here on a Saturday with my Dad specifically for Lobster Roll. I have been here previously and thought it was an Ok experience. This time around was a major improvement. 1st, quickly seated. Booth of course. 2nd, nice friendly waiter that chitchat with my Dad about sport 3rd, free soup! Delicious French Onion Soup, the cheesiest 4th, giant lobster roll. Boston-quality. The fries were also good, however my lobster roll was too big I could barely touch them fries.

Nice place. I had the lobster roll. It was so good I went back the next day for another one before heading home to Chicago. Nice atmosphere and good service. Definitely going back.

Yes, It’s the«99», a chain restaurant, however I have yet to have a bad experience there. Waitstaff is consistently friendly and mistake free. Food is consistently good. The«99′ in Franklin is my «go to» place when I’m looking for good food at a good price, without any surprises. The fancy Incontro is across the street, I have been there, not impressed. I’ll take the«99».

I have found 99s provide a wide range of service from bad to good, and I found this one to be on the better end. The restaurant itself is newer and bigger with roomy seating. Service was really nice on the day and the food was decent.

As always a great lunch or after work stop when close to your business or meeting location. A chain restaurant that is worth a night out.

Being a West Coast guy, Ninety Nine is a bit of a novelty to me. When on business trips, I stay in Franklin and this place is right next to the hotel. 2 hours of airport check-in + 6 hours of flight time + 1 hour shuttle ride = 99 for this weary traveler. Set your expectations. It’s not unlike a Chili’s or Applebee’s. You’ll be fine. I went once when lobster was in season and got the lobster roll. I appreciated that they used melted butter instead of mayo as I have a mayonnaise phobia. Again, being from the other coast, getting two fistfulls of lobster meat on a roll for under $ 10 is nice. The other time I went was during winter time. I go the Louisiana sirloin, which was enjoyable. Never had a problem with the service. Plenty of TVs playing sports, which I am in favor of. Sadly, though, I can link a very disappointing sports moment to said TVs as I watched the Niners gag away the NFC title game there(KYLEWILLIAMSNOOOOO). I can’t definitively blame Ninety Nine for that.

Ok it’s the 99, not at the top of my list but I was forced to go there last night(kids insisted). So I get the steak tips and thinking the portion would be small I make it an extra large for the additional $ 4.99 cost. I have to admit, totally surprised at how good they were and the portion size was huge. No fat no junk no waste, just really good tips cooked right and seasoned right. Even the veggies were steamed and not drowning in oil or butter which is great for me. Hey maybe I hit the jackpot and lucked out but even my kids mac and cheese looked far better than anything he’s had at Longhorn or Outback. I’d certainly go back for the tips again.

It was decent, but nothing to write home about. The service was just okay, not overly attentive or severely lacking. The peppercorn steak was good… prepared well and full of flavor.

Took a while to be seated… I had the smothered steak tips. That came within 10 minutes of ordering. Was good. Waitress was nice. Seemed dead in there for a Thursday night. A typical night at a chain restaurant.

Ninety Nine is lucky that certain corporate entities send their folks to Franklin to train for anywhere from one to four weeks at a time. The only redeeming part about this restaurant, and yes, it was pretty redeeming, was the $ 1.99 Budweiser Select. Now, that may be enough to bump it up to three stars by itself; you could put me in a shed in the woods with $ 2 Bud Selects and I’d be a content person; however this is a food establishment as well, and as such they have certain responsibilities. Those responsibilities include not serving ice cold buffalo wings. Those responsibilities include not dripping some cheap nacho cheese over some chips and passing them off as nachos(unless I’m at Fenway or a comparable alternative), and they certainly include NOT hard crusty edges on the haddock. I am being a little harsh, but fortunately for Ninety Nine they have a monopoly on the cheap restaurant market in the area. To be fair the quesadillas were OK and the Tips and Tenders were passable. If you’re looking for an older crowd and cheap beer, or just don’t care about the crowd or the food; Ninety Nine is not a bad place to be. That’s why I went there four times in two weeks.

This is your typical bar and grill restaurant and I guess takes over as the go-to restaurant chain following the void left by Applebee’s. The prices are pretty reasonable, service is always good, and it’s a nice, laidback vibe. I come here occasionally when I’m town when I’m not looking to do anything too fancy. Recommended.
