At Hudson Dance Academy we bring the art of dance to life. We have something for everyone, whether you are looking for a once a week class, competition or to train on a professional level, we offer it. We train dancers from beginning to professional level, aged 2.5 to adult. We value each and every student and task ourselves with making each student the best they can be. At Hudson Dance Academy we offer small class sizes so that each and every student gets the attention they need to succeed.

History

Established in 2013.

It was Ms. Hudson’s dream to create a studio where her passion for dance could thrive. She wanted an environment where all students are valued, there is a high level of instruction and students have the opportunity to pursue a classical or commercial dance path. All of our teachers and staff are warm and friendly. We invite you to join our dance family.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Ms. Hudson has had an extensive career in dance. She began dancing at the age of 3 and has been teaching and choreographing for over 13 years. Ms. Hudson has trained and studied all forms of dance from ballet, jazz, tap, modern, lyrical and hip hop. She found her niche in the jazz world when she joined the Academy of Performing Arts as a high school student. She went on to receive her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Dance Performance from Loyola Marymount University and sequentially earned her Masters of Business Adminstration from Loyola Marymount University as well. Ms. Hudson began dancing professionally at the age of 17 touring Southern California with a hip hop company. She has an extensive background in competitive dance. She was the competition director at her previous studio for 5 years, training and choreographing for the competition team before leaving to pursue her own studio.
