Typical type of bar with ample seating and a place to lounge. You’ll find nice size tv on every corner to catch a sports whatever is playing in that night. Smoking is permitted but the smell wasn’t that bad that night. I’ve heard that there are a lot of fights. My bf came to visit on a Monday night and the bar tender said he already broke 2 fights that night. Either people just can’t hold down their temper or bartender are not keeping tabs on how much alcohol a customer had.

It’s about as far from a pub as you can get. The bartender barely spoke English. He did not know anything about the beer he was serving. Most of the beer is Macro beer anyway. They allow smoking.

Some people are so picky with their review! This is a bar in fort with Texas! Sunday brunch is amazing! Staff was super friendly and the atmosphere is fun and casual! No smoke in my face but there is a patio if you get your lung panties in a wad. I give 5stars willingly and love this place! Go oscar’s !!

What a disappointment! We had read the reviews and really wanted to love this place after moving down the street. We had read mixed reviews. Went in on a Friday night and were greeted with a friendly smile but had to figure out we needed to seat our selves. We had to walk up to the bar to order a drink and ask for a menu after 10 minutes. Had to then return to the bar to order food from the menu of 5 very vague items. When the food came out the flat bread pizza was smothered in pesto sauce. This wasn’t stated on the menu or told to us by the waitress. After we waited 10 minutes to find a waitress and ask her about it we were going to ask for a different option since i was allergic to pesto and had no idea that was the pizza option she just told us that they didn’t even have tomato sauce, snatched up the pizza and walked away never to return. Another server approached us 15 minutes later, we got our check, paid and left. The experience would have been great if the service was better. If they would have told us what the menu consisted of and if they would have actually checked on us. I have never stood at an empty bar to ask a bartender a question or for a menu for 5 minutes and been completely ignored before. I saw this happen to other patrons while I was there also. I am sad to say i wanted the local pub down the street to be awesome for a late night bite but it really was awful! Worst experience I have had in years if not ever.

While I always find the staff as nice as possible, this is just a no for me. It’s so smokey and local draft beer is $ 6.50. $ 6.50?!? Really??? To have some person next to me blowing smoke in my face? No. Just no. Although, their brunch is more than worth it. Hence the three stars(wish I could up the brunch scores to 5 stars.)

Oh god! I wish I could give Oscar’s more stars, but I just can’t. I want to like it so badly! They have«All you can eat and drink for $ 15» Brunch on Sundays. They have a menu with about 6 – 8 different items and you can order as many as you want. The wait staff is fantastic and the place is pretty nice. My friends are obsessed with this place, mostly because it’s all you can eat. Who wouldn’t? Right? Well, I’ve had their Huevos Rancheros, Migas and Waffles. The Huevos rancheros are so flavorless! Why? Why??? A little bit of salt goes a long way! Same thing with the migas, I think a little more salt and a little extra kick of some sort on the salsa and the flavor would change dramatically. This makes me sad because I am Mexican and the style they cook the food is very authentic, it just needs a little salt, for the love of god! Come on, Oscar! We could be so happy together! The waffle is great, but they take FOREVER. When I asked why the waiter said that it was because they only have 1 waffle iron. Their mimosas flow freely and there are a lot better than other places. There are not watery and the wait staff comes and fills them up constantly, thank you so much for that! I just go to Oscar’s when my friends plan a celebration there. I would be such a loyal customer if they used the appropriate seasonings.

Came for brunch and we were not disappointed. The food was awesome(for the record I think I would eat a napkin if you put the creamy tomatillo sauce on it). The bottomless mimosa were on point too. It was a holiday weekend so it was not very busy and the service was top notch. I am not sure how busy it usually is during brunch, so I will have to come back and try it again and report back. I am willing to do this for«research» purposes though. I have been here a few times before for happy hour, which is also nice, but this is the first time at brunch. I will record Oscar’s to anyone asking for brunch recommendations.

I almost don’t want to write this review bc I don’t want anyone to know about my Secret Sunday brunch place! There are three things guaranteed at Oscars… 1) you will get a buzz! 2) you will be in a food coma! 3) you will be there for awhile! On Sunday’s 11 – 2 it’s bottomless mimosas and all you can eat! The food is pretty great considering how much they are serving! TIPYOUCANORDERALLTHEMEATONANYOFTHEENTREES! They only have one waffle iron, so be prepared to wait… But who cares when you have bottomless mimosas!

Went on a Wednesday night. There was a nice crowd and a friendly and attentive staff. Music selection was awful though. Please for the love of God fix this!

Great brunch that is all you can eat and made fresh every plate. They don’t really have a kitchen so the plates come out 1 or 2 at a time but it’s worth it. You get your food really fast unless you get there late but worth the wait. Staff is friendly and drink prices are good. They have happy hour everyday. Love this bar!

Oscar’s is my go to brunch spot on Sundays. It’s close to the house and it is $ 15 for ALLYOUCANEATANDDRINKMIMOSAS!!! Yes please! The food is pretty good and you order off a menu so its fresh every time, no buffet style here. When they say mimosas they really mean that you can get your champagne anyway you want it, your aren’t just limited to orange juice as a filler. It can be a little slow on service though because they have a small kitchen and lots of patrons by noon. The brunch special runs from 11 – 2 so plan on being there at the get go.

A great place to wind down! Oscars pub will have you coming back again and again. It may be small but it’s comfortable and welcoming. Live music from time to time is always a blast. The service is so friendly and treats you like you’re one of their friends. Drink prices are average for a bar but is definitely a homey and friendly place I enjoy to relax and chill. Only downside is it is a smaller place so chairs fill up fast on busy nights and you may be left standing. Overall It’s a great bar with outstanding service.

BRUNCHATOSCARSISTHEBOMB! I don’t know if I have time to say all the good things I want to say! Food-had breakfast tacos with chorizo and fantastic GREENSAUCE that I could drink by the pint, ohh, the drinks– more champagne than oj, just the right mix, didn’t drive so I left feeling OHSOGOOD! more food, I forgot I started with a Belgium waffle, yummy and if I hadn’t filled up on tacos I would’ve eaten it all and might’ve needed more syrup, um 4 or? rounds of mimosas later, I was fed and feeling so fine for this intermittent sunny and stormy sunday! Robbie was busting butt as was his staff, and doing a damn fine job keeping everyone happy! waited a bit to be served but they sent peeps home sick,. Thrilled, good decision! I will be back fo sho!!!

I have one word for you: BRUNCH! This is by far the best brunch place I’ve been to. Maybe it had something to do with the VIPs I went with(they go there at least once a month for brunch), but I have never had a better overall brunch experience. With $ 14 brunch with unlimited mimosas(or poinsettias) and plates, I was very excited to go here for the first time. And they did not let me down. If you ask them, they will bring carafes of the cranberry and orange juice and the bottle of champagne so that you can mix your own drinks to your liking. Plus, the food is great too. They have a limited menu, but I enjoyed it. I must have ordered 7 plates of food! Can’t wait to go back.

Food is not that great for lunch. The only thing I was surprised at was the guacamole. It was so good, and not what I was expecting. They give you a ton of it. You know when you go to those restaurants and they put basically a spoonful of guac on a leaf on a plate? It’s not like that. It’s in a huge mortar and pestle looking thing. Kind of boring ambiance. Plenty of drinks to go around though. I’m guessing it’s a nighttime hangout, or perhaps a breakfast mimosa hangover hangout.

Oscar’s is, at heart, a neighborhood bar(if you figure that the neighborhood in question is the Camp Bowie area), and plays as such: friendly — folksy even somewhat — and when I wandered in on a night when the city was expecting a spate of inclement(intense, if brief) weather, I was curious to sort out what this place was all about. There’s a small but mostly local(read: Rahr forward) beer selection on tap, but an interesting but not particularly quirky selection of brews happening in the cooler. On this night, the weather was dicey enough that I opted to camp out with a giant Saporro, throw some tunes on the jukebox, and see how things turned out. I really do genuinely hate the current state of the electronic jukebox industry, FWIW, and that’s happening here, but I found a few tunes to tide me over until my beer and the weather left. Staff was friendly enough, and I wasn’t ordering anything complex, and this night included what appeared to be a team full of bar sponsored weekend warriors. Soccer? Softball? I never asked. But a decent spot nonetheless for a late night local casual sip.
