This place used to be really good its sad its gone so far down hill. Food tastes like its been sitting out for hrs and extremely chewy. And seems food is at room temperature. Foods not being kept warm or properly chilled. Think this will be our last time here because last two visits have not been worth the $. Sad cause its so close to my house

I’ve frequented this place for over a year now. As far as food, it’s your basic Chinese buffet fare… fried rice, lo mein, chicken and broccoli, orange chicken, eggrolls, dumplings, soups, etc. Sushi bar is ok. I think it’s decent enough to satisfy a craving. I usually don’t go for sushi at a Chinese buffet restaurant though. The Mongolian grill is good and has had fresh ingredients the few times I’ve stopped by there. Soups are on point. Desserts are decent but not extraordinary. I will say, I wish they would just do away with the frozen yogurt machine. Bleh As for customer service, I’ve never had an issue. Actually, that is the main reason I kept coming back. The waiter and waitresses are overall friendly and efficient. There is a waiter there(don’t know his name, will ask the next time I go) who is awesome. He remembers my friend and I and what we like to drink. We like to catch up and talk when we meet up so we tend to linger over our meal. They all seem to all know us by now and never have we felt rushed out. This place to is to home, food is good, service is great. I’ll keep coming back!

This place has EXCELLENT crab legs and shrimp! Its all you can eat so come hungry! Chinese food is average but good. Sushi is good but could use more selection! Desserts could definitely be better! However if you like Crabs, Oysters, fried catfish, and shrimp you will be in heaven because its all GOOD! Just these items alone are well worth the 13.95 buffet dinner price. The servers are friendly but ask for Chris he is the BEST! He will make sure you get plenty of CRAB!

I come here for the grilled chicken. It reminds me of my mother’s cooking. The steak is good as well. Listen these restaurants are all over DFW. However, this one is the best in my opinion. Servers are friendly and the food is good.

Please do not eat here, ever. The place is EXTREMELY overpriced at $ 9.00 for a lunch buffet or to go box. I was coming home from college and was super hungry and craving Chinese food. I always drive by this place but I have never tried so I thought today I would. I entered the place and it was clean with a good selection of food. But seriously, 9 bucks for Chinese takeout is WAYTOOMUCH. Also, they give a SMALL little black box to put your food in. It was ridiculous. Furthermore, the food was very average, at best. The noodles were like all other places and only had some cabbage as their vegetable. No carrots, no onions, no green onions… very sad. The sesame chicken was rubbery and bland. I barely got 2 pieces in the tiny little box but I didn’t even eat those. The eggrolls had a weird after taste to them. Plus, they were soggy… eggrolls should be crispy, hot and just delightful to eat. These were nothing like that. The last thing I could get to fit into the box was two little cheese rolls. They were alright. So my thoughts: I will NEVER visit this place again and I highly suggest every one else does the same. It is expensive for no reason.(I do not think many people eat here in the first place because the parking lot is always mostly empty.) PS: The Chinese place inside the Hurst Mall is AMAZING. It has orange chicken(this place did not) and their eggrolls are freaking delicious. And they give you a ton of food to-go for $ 6.50. Drive the extra few miles and get an enjoyable meal for a decent price.

Okay, the place looked pretty clean when we first walked in, everything is average in term of service and what not. Food is why this place gets one star. It’s a hibachi place but like what the, there’s no one at the hibachi station and the even if there was, I could get fresher and better ingredients to stir fry myself better looking noodles. All the other food are average, nothing special. Ice cream cone was stale, the vanilla ice cream tasted like melted frozen yogurt. Not worth the money, not worth the time.

Fantastic selection and great value but I left with my mouth almost burning from the amount of «something» — MSG possibly. Too bueno for this cowboy(transplant actually).

Horrible! Horrible!!! Hate this place. Cook who was making my Mongolian grill was straight up ass hole! Burnt my shrimp and gave me attitude cause he didn’t want to get up to make my food!!! Manager saw and didn’t do shit but got upset because my plate was full of shrimp! Rude ass Asians!

My son loves Chinese buffets and asks to go once a week. This one isn’t my favorite but they send out coupons for 10% off entire tab or $ 5.99 lunch specials, which you can’t beat. The service I receive here is decent and the the food isn’t bad either. I’ve never gotten sick here so that’s a plus!

My parents and I just came back from here. Dad was hungry and saw the sign«steak» and«seafood» from Basswood and we decided to pull in to see what kind of dinner we could be in for as we though it was an American buffet, but it turned out to be a Chinese buffet. I did a walk-through of the buffet and it looked decent. We went around 5PM on a Monday evening(today). There were about 4 or 5 tables. I don’t know what it is with this particular Chinese restaurant, but the girl servers that work here don’t get that it’s impolite to stare. They will look at you from the time you grab food on your plate and will hold that gaze until you walk to your seat. How uncomfortable and peeved was I! Needless to say, food is very sub-par. It’s very below average to the Chinese buffets I’ve been to in DFW. I had the ’tilapia’ and it tasted like salted fish consistency. Can’t remember what else I had as it wasn’t memorable. Most just tasted super sweet and greasy and been twice or three times cooked. Ecck! $ 10.95/pp totaling ~$ 36. Mom & I picked on our food and dad just ate just so we wouldn’t come home and have to look for food. I’d say if you prefer to eat at a Chinese buffet, opt for Buffet Palace near Rufe Snow &820– better food selection, fresher variety, and the servers don’t give you the dagger stare.

This was my first visit here, at the recommendation of a friend. I joined him and his wife at his invitation. I was not disappointed. This is not your typical Chinese buffet. Yes, they have the standard items you would expect to be on the menu, but there is much more. They have a wide selection, from fresh oysters on the half shell to BBQ spare ribs to fresh sushi. I loaded up my plate with fried shrimp, shrimp cocktail, rainbow shrimp, roast pork, BBQ ribs, orange chicken, fried rice and a few other items. Granted, I didn’t eat a ton of food, as this is an «All You Can Eat» buffet, but I did get my fill. All in all a great buffet.

Not sure why so many people rated this place poorly. I think it was pretty good. Good fish, pulled pork, etc. I would recommend it for basic chinese buffet. The dessert was the basic terrible Chinese restaurant half frozen straight out of the box stuff, but that’s par for Chinese restaurants.

Half ass buffet. The food has been sitting for awhile. Ask one of the cooks to bring fresh dumpling and she brought me dumpling that were recooked. I’ve eaten at better buffets but if your in a hurry and its on the way then well then be their guess. I just know I’m not coming here again or recommending it.

Yuck. Food was tough over cooked and had sat out long. Sushi was mediocre. The wasabi was so cheap it was actually watery. I sampled many of the dishes and found that nothing even met the acceptable level.

I stopped there one night with my GF. I am a big fan of Salt Pepper Shrimp. There was only a few shrimp on the steam table. When I asked a Mexican lady if they gonna make some more, she didnt understand me. Seems that she doesnt speak English. So i asked the manager in the front if i could have some more shrimp. The manager said he would ask the kitchen to make some for me. I was there for around 1 hour, but never saw the shrimp. Their price was a little bit above average. I thought the variety of seafood can be better. I also noticed that the supply of crab legs didnt meet the demand. Always saw a line in front of crab legs. They only offer few&small crab legs. Wont recommend for a seafood fan.

Disappointed with the $ 12.00 dinner buffet. The premium cost is to cover the seafood they include on the buffet. With a full house the kitchen was unable to keep up with the demand. The sushi bar was a little messy and the guy in the blue and white jacket working the station was rude. He was slamming the utensils around that we were trying to use to pick up our selections. I thought maybe he was just being rude to me but after I sat down I observed him being rude to a young lady that was behind me in line also. They have a young manager and he seemed to be clueless to what was going on and more interested in laughing with the hostess seating the people. So I have been here a couple times now and in such a short time I have noticed inconsistency in service and meal qualities. They are a few cents above the others that offer similar but I don’t feel their price matches their menu or service.

I dropped by on a weekday around 4pm. I was greeted immediately and quickly noticed the place was very clean and pretty spacious. I ordered a buffet to-go which is $ 7.95. At first I thought it was kind of small, but I was actually able to fill it up pretty good and got full off it with a little left over. For a weekday dinner buffet, variety is plentiful including salad and dessert. Food was definitely tasteful and fresh. I had the fried rice, beef & broccoli, spicy chicken, orange chicken, and a couple of shrimp sides. Everything was tasty, not over seasoned or dry. This was the first time I went and will definitely be back. Only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because I didn’t really experience the whole restaurant since I got take out so I honestly don’t know if it’s truly 5 stars.

This place was a disappointment. I was anticipating the day this place would open, and the buffet variety is very confusing. The food tasted so-so. But I’ve been to many Chinese buffets in the DFW area and this one sucks. I felt as if they didn’t know what to serve us in their buffet. I don’t think I’ll try this place again, unless it revamps the whole menu… lol There’s also this lingering sewer smell… That didn’t help out with the dining experience either.

I really liked this place! I’ve been to many Asian style buffet restaurants before and this is definitely one I will be coming back to. The staff was nice, the food definitely appealed to my western tastes as well.
