Alamo Termite & Pest Control

We had Alamo Termite & Pest Control out today. Brian was our technician. He was on time. He called to let us know when he was on his way and was very efficient. We were happy to know it was kid friendly and pet friendly. Within 20 mins of him spraying we could tell it was working. Call up and ask for Shawna and she can get you scheduled. She was so nice over the phone and really helped us decide what packages we needed. We have even decided to sign up for the yearly package. Thank you Shawna and Thank You Brian.

Ok so I’m not a big review writer. But I had to take the time to say how outstanding Alamo and Ryan are! OUTSTANDING! I was in a weird situation– I was in the middle of moving from a condo to a house (half of my belongings in each) with a pregnant wife, two ticked off cats and a St. Bernard. So when I found out the dog picked up flees from the backyard and spread it to the cats, inside the new house AND the condo I nearly snapped! Two places with flees, most belonging boxed up and not know if they had gotten in there to start the cycle over if I open one is stressing to say the least. I called Alamo late in the evening to send someone the next day. Enter Ryan, the next morning to meet me and do a walk through the house. Gave me a price that was more than fair along with step by step instructions with this situation. I followed every step and he went to work. side note– he also helped me move a huge dresser from my truck so he could nuke that too! The next day was the same thing at the condo. Now we are flee free and on a preventive schedule plan (highly recommend) with Alamo. Ryan made a tense situation real easy! He was friendly, professional and it was great talking baseball with him. I’ll only ask for him. Thanks Alamo!

Today I had Troy as our technician and he was great he showed up within an hour of our scheduled time which is perfect timing. He told me exactly what he was doing even gave me some information and regards to some pest in my attic. I would definitely recommend Alamo Termite & Pest Control and especially recommend Troy. Troy was very professional.

My initial call was for treatment of possible rodents in the attic. Signed up for an annual package for four treatments in one year at a cost of $ 428. Less than a month after the service, the noises out of the attic were getting worse. I scheduled a follow on check for a Monday morning. Friday before the appointment, I was called informing me that something more important came up and I would receive a call to reschedule. I never received a call. As their guarantee states, if not satisfied, give them another shot (which I believe was given by me calling them again. Not my fault they could not keep the appointment.) and if still not satisfied, would get a refund. I ended up calling another company to resolve my pest issue. I called to cancel my annual service with Alamo and wanted a refund it was then that I was told that I was to be charged $ 319.28 for the initial service call and would only be refunded $ 109. Total ripoff. I would recommend not retaining Alamo for service. Highly disappointed. I gave them one star only becauseI could not give «0» stars.

Jake came out and professionally explained to me all that would happen and assured me that the bait he was using would be safe around my dog (which was very important to me). He explained to me everything and took his time to show me where the mice may have entered and where they burrowed.
A few weeks later, Brian came out to re inspect, and he was just as courteous. He explained everything all over again, and was patient with my many questions.
Both of these men are assets to your company. Thanks to both of them and the Alamo team!
Also, I wanted to mention how sweet the receptionist Christi is. She is always so nice when I call in. Thanks Alamo for your caring and professional staff!

Jake came out and was very knowledgeable. This is our first apartment so we wanted to make sure there were no creepy crawly things in here before we moved furniture in. He explained everything he was doing and told me about the common insects in this area. I felt way more comfortable about the place after her left than before he came. Alamo pest is my new pest company in DFW area. I would highly recommend Jake and Alamo pest!

I am one super happy customer. Over the past few weeks we have started hearing «attic pets» in the attic at night, as well as some visitors to our garden. Darren came this morning, walked me around the house explaining possible points of entry and how I could fix them myself. He did a great job explaining what he was setting up and why to stop the current visitors. I really appreciate how friendly, informative and courteous he was!

I liked the service. The pest control worked well. I was forced to move out of my house seven months into a full PREPAID YEAR. I called expecting some type of surcharge to continue at my new address. I was placed on hold for ten minutes, no doubt a discussion was ongoing about how hard they could ripp me because the lady came back to the phone and told me I had to start my whole year over! When I get good service, I am a lifelong customer. This scam however, made me a lifelong detractor. I PREPAID a lot of money to have them basically tell me… hahahahaha, we got your cash later dude! Do not prepay. Found another not ripoff company.

I had a home invasion composed of a ton of uninvited, rude 6 legged things back in October. Alamo sent out one of their techs within 24 hours to come assess the damage. When my two week inspection happened, all of the freeloading bugs had evicted themselves. My mental health thanks Troy the technician for keeping me from burning my house down to rid myself of the bugs, for being patient and for providing me very specific instructions on how to keep my infestation at bay.

I used Alamo today to spray around my house. I’ve seen some seriously freaky bugs lately since our area has had a lot of rain. They guaranteed 90 days of a bug free life for me! They were friendly, easy to set up and the guy made me feel really comfortable. Currently they have a special that is 49.99, which is the best deal I’ve found in the area. I will update when I can speak to how well it worked! But so far, so good.
*Update: Its been well over a month and I haven’t seen any bugs. Maybe a small fly or a tiny spider. But nothing scary! They did a great job and I will have them back in a few months for another spray.

Had our initial visit today by Dennis. I have to say that he was extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the wonderful critters we have living in our home. Jokes aside I am very pleased a will be setting up an annual service with them. He thoroughly checked our home and made me feel comfortable that we will get great service when they come to spray. Thank you for being a great business to turn to for pest control.

If you have BedBugs and are in the DFW area, don’t waste your time with any other company. These are the guys to use! Best price, fastest service. Alamo is absolutely fantastic!
Unlike the other companies we called out, Alamo struck the perfect balance of showing concern for the seriousness of our problem without trying to scare us so they could rack up the price. They were so helpful and kind on the phone. Their tech, Robbie, was prompt, professional, knowledgeable, but most importantly, he listened to our concerns and worked with us to find a solution that was comprehensive but didn’t break the bank.
I’m not a person who’s bothered by most insects. But I have a pregnant wife, a 15 month old and a 3 year old. So when I found out we had gotten BED BUGS, I was both extremely disgusted and very overwhelmed. I know to them, we were just another customer, but for us, they were the answer to a prayer!
UPDATE: When we started learning about Bed Bugs and heard the horror stories about how difficult they are to get rid of — we were so overwhelmed. Many of the people we spoke to said that it took months (and sometimes over a year) to completely eliminate them. I’m happy to say that we stopped seeing them immediately, and haven’t seen one since. it’s now been well over a year and we never even needed a second treatment.

Thank you thank you thank you Alamo Pest! Aside from the obvious gratitude for getting rid of the ‘undesirables’ in my house, you’ve totally rocked at customer service. Our technician is Mike and in addition to solving our problem quickly, he was also kind and patient, explained everything and answered all 812 of our questions, and even replied to some follow up questions by email. Two big thumbs up for Mike and Alamo!

Alamo Pest Control installed a mosquito misting system on my home which dramatically has cut down the problem. We could barely sit outside on warm summer days. With all the problems with west nile around here, we were very happy to have some peace of mind. They come four times a year, program, and winterize the system so we don’t have to really do anything except enjoy our yard! Thanks guys!
