History

Established in 2012.

SocialLight was founded in Aspen, Colorado in late 2012 by Lucas Z. It was there that he noticed a gap in the photo entertainment/​event industry. Calling on his previous photo experience and a desire to build a successful business, he quickly began designing a modern update to the traditional photo booth. Since then, the SocialLight Experience has quickly caught on and expanded to several locations throughout the U.S. including Palm Springs, Denver, Washington D.C., Tampa and now Dallas, Texas!

Lucas Z.

Business Owner

Lucas spent 6 years assisting some of the top fashion and commercial photographers in New York City and San Francisco, includding Arthur Elgort and Stan Musilek. He was lucky to have learned a great deal about lighting and photographing people on international campaigns for Verizon, Adidas, Nike, The W Hotel, Forbes, Cartier and Vogue to name a few. He then went out on his own shooting for countless modeling agencies and a few national clients before deciding to return to Aspen, Colorado. It was there that he began to apply everything that he learned to the event photography industry and SocialLight was born.
