I have read the reviews and am sorry to hear so many bad stories about the sales tactics used. However, I’ve had excellent service. They have been treating my home for about 2 years. I’ve had to call them out in between service once or twice and they come right out and treat the situation, no fuss/​no muss. This last week I had Thai do the service and he was pleasant, knowledgeable and did a great job. All the service techs that have come out are good. I really don’t have any complaints and would recommend them. Fast, efficient, reliable.

I am so glad that Han came by our house when he did. He dropped off a price quote because some of our neighbors were treating their houses. I saved his information, not knowing that I would need it.
A few weeks later, I called him and Han honored the price quote that he promised. They came out within 2 days. Louis was very professional and sprayed around the house. He came within the time frame window and left directly after. Great way to put out the company’s name. I will be using them again, and I would recommend them to anyone.

Anthony always does a great job with the pest service with a positive attitude and gets right to business. He is courteous, polite and very friendly. He is always able to explain any questions I have regarding pests/​rodents/​etc. He is very helpful and always asks if I need anything else or have problem areas. We have been using Moxie for over a year now and really appreciate all of the extra effort they have made in servicing us when the rat population was excessive last year. When I had an issue with a technician not performing up to par last year, the manager, Greg, stepped right up and assured me they would take care of any issues I had, and they did just that! I’m very impressed with their service and haven’t had issues with any other technicians. I appreciate when they send the same people, and for the most part, I’ve had the same technicians come for several visits.

Ridiculously rude solicitors. So rude to the point where I just wasted 20 minutes of my day calling their corporate office. I told him I had 2 toddlers eating in the other room and wasn’t interested, he scoffed and kept talking to me in a condescending tone to the point I had to literally shut my door in his face. I came back to a huge mess. Their manager at corporate didn’t seem to care, just told me their sales guys had egos. I’m not even sure what that means. Would never ever switch to their pest control services. Their customer service is apparently far below par.

At 8:30! on a Monday night a YOUNG sales rep rang my doorbell. I only opened the glass on my door but was still separated by wrought iron. He told me that many neighbors had signed up with Moxie because other Pest Control companies don’t spray the yard. I told him mine did. He continued to NOT take no for an answer. I then asked him if he was registered with the City of Colleyville to solicit door to door. He said he was. I then told him we were on a DO NOT SOLICIT list. He said he didn’t check the list. I then shut the glass part of my door.

Pissed off that a rep from your company knocked on our door at 8:30 at night, last night. We have children in bed and it was HIGHLY inappropriate. The guy was asked kindly to leave. That’s not how you get business. Don’t knock on our doors in cross timber hills in Southlake

Sad that this is How you get business «that is what you stated» because all you are accomplishing is pissing people off. And based on your reviews, yall have been doing this for awhile now pissing people off. Do it again at my house and see what happens !

Rare for me to give such a low rating.
My door bell rings today. I’m recovering from a stem cell transplant due to cancer and chemotherapy. I don’t move fast. Beautiful day outside, have my windows open.
Door bell rings again. I’m working my way to the front.
I hear «HELLOOOOOO!» rather loudly at my front door.
That was wrong. Wrong tactic, wrong approach, and flat out rude. I’m 50 years old and have never had people at my front door yelling hello with a tone of «why aren’t you opening?»
I wasn’t sure who was about to bust through my front door to be honest, intimidating.
The lady looked nice and appeared friendly initially. Had on a Moxie pest control shirt, asking me if I wanted help getting rid of my spider problem.
I answered «no.»
What followed was one of the more blatant pushy sales tactics I have ever witnessed. I have no problem with door to door for people trying to earn a living. I do have a problem with people who think they can push and bully me into taking their service.
I had to tell her many times I was not interested.
Then she started in on my neighbors. «What about your neighbors?» I responded «you’ll have to ask them.»
She persisted that I tell her about my neighbors.
Red flags.
Intrusive, problematic, and troublesome. I felt I was being sized up for a home break in or that my neighbors might be bothered by a pushy door to door saleswoman.
Wrong tactic. I would never recommend a company with bullish door to door people. Respect is paramount.

We’ve been using Moxie for about 2 years now and really like them. They use kid & pet friendly products and are always so kind. Today, Nathan Giroux treated both inside and out and he couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating. When I asked questions he answered in great detail which I appreciated. We have had Moxie Pest Services for just about 2 years now, and couldn’t be happier.
We found out about them because one of their representatives actually rang our doorbell to tell us about their services, but it was cool because we had just moved in and were looking for pest control. She was very friendly, and not over-​the-​top «salesperson fake.» She explained everything in great detail, and I felt confident providing her with my information. The contract and their services carried out over that first year just as they promised, and now I’ve just decided to stay on.
They always text, call, and email to let you know of upcoming service appointments, and if you need a service between their normally quarterly visits, they are included in the price (no pesky additional service fees) and they are able to schedule them often the same week. Everyone I have encountered from the phone customer service to the technicians themselves are extremely friendly and knowledgable. They all seem like they genuinely enjoy their job, and are pleasant.
When I first signed up for the service a couple of years ago, there hardly weren’t any reviews or information about them out there, so I took a leap of faith, but I’m glad that I did. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

My wife and just bought a house in Carrollton. We had Moxie come out and setup a service contract. The tech who came out was AMAZING. Great guy and very knowledgeable. I have worked with pest control for a lot years with a former employer so I had some knowledge. My tech knew his stuff inside and out. He identified opportunities at my home I had not even seen or noticed. We had a few silverfish and beetles inside the house prior to moving in. Since we moved in and the treatment we have not had any issues. They have been back for the quarterly service after the initial treatment and things are going well. I would highly recommend them!

Horrible to deal with. Had to threaten them with going to the state attorney generals office over harassment. Would recommend avoiding them at all costs.

BEWARE!!!
This company will sneak into your life and then they will harass and bother you relentlessly! They don’t take no for an answer. And even bring your neighbors into it! They will charge for BS and cls you can’t break the contract or you’ll have to pay $ 100 to get out of it.
They will show up unannounced and claim they have a service scheduled. They will call and hound you to death to reschedule and set up more «needed» appointments!
We’ve had nothing but annoying, bullying and unprofessional treatment from this company. Please spare your self!
Don’t let them near your lawn.
I’d rather deal with the ants and bugs vs. deal with them and throw my hard earned money away!
How are these people still in business?!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
They will lie to you, bully you, charge you randomly on your credit card and when you ask to cancel they will toss in a awesome $ 120 cancelation fee. The one good thing about them is that all reps can read. That they will do when ever you ask a question. They read you the contract over and over but are not inelegant enough to hold a conversation. Here are some direct quotes from a supervisor at their company name Angela today in regards to over charges on my bill and services not done. «well that’s why that employee is no longer with us». «You obviously don’t know how to listen». «Why are you acting like I don’t know what I’m talking about». «Good luck disputing the charges on your account they are going to be charged anyway». «First of all». «Both my managers are on lunch so no you can’t talk to them, and I’m going now».
customer service is horrible and they are so rude. If you get talked into buying this crap by a pushy sales man that won’t go away good luck getting your money’s worth or you money back your stuck for life.

Yes please walk around all of Dallas door to door soliciting of your services.

«Oh I can come back in an hour with papers on what we do an price»
An «ill come back tomorrow an see if you want any thing done»
So you gave me the phone, email, an location yet you want to come back tommorow to see what I want to do when I said I’ll think about it.
I said I have pets in my backyard.
His response. «Just tie them up to a tree for 5 days «
Now I’m not going to order anything.
Also I said can you read that sign. No soliciting.
«We’ll it doesn’t justify pest controls services.»
