Zhanna is amazing, she does fabulous work while being extremely efficient. From what I noticed all the hairdresser in this salon do great work as well, and you can not beat their prices for this area. They have a very friendly, personal vibe.

I came here on a recommendation from my mom and almost immediately fell in love. Zhanna must have cut and blow dried 4 people while I was waiting and each person walked out gorgeous.
When it was finally my turn, Zhanna dissuaded me from highlights and persuaded a color on me that I would have never chosen for myself.
Between the color and cut, I am amazed. I am amazed by the result and how inexpensive it was. I am also amazed by how fast Zhanna made me over. I cannot tell you how many compliments I have received.
I highly recommend her and her salon and I will definitely be coming back.

Today was my 3^rd visit to this salon. They give great cuts n color for a reasonable price. They do just as good a job as the other salons in Forest Hills with inflated prices. The ppl who work here are friendly and relaxed yet professional, and they give the place a comfortable vibe.

Everyone here is very welcoming. Janet is wonderful! a great stylist and a sweetheart on top of it. I was nervous as most people are going to a new stylist, but she quickly put my mind at ease and gave me a wonderful haircut! It gets better with each visit. I am a regular now. Paul does wonderful work as well. They also do great color!
I would highly recommend this wonderful place!

I have been getting my hair cut here for about a year, and my haircuts have always been exceptional. In addition, I am always treated like family, and I’ve noticed the same with other customers. Both Jannet and Paul obviously love what they do and take pride in their work and it shows! Highly recommend :)

It was my first time at fancy cuts and Sarah did an amazing job with my hair! My hairs been annoying me for a while now and the reviews on Unilocal made want to visit even more! I walked in and Sarah helped me choose the color and I made the right decision by trusting her with my hair. I would definitely recommend others to get their hair done here. Their price for a wash, haircut, and dry (no styling) is very reasonable for $ 18. I got the color, cut, wash and blow dry (styling included) for $ 80 which is very affordable compared to other salons. Zhanna and Paul are very friendly and welcoming as well. They know how to become friends with their customers easily. This is the best salon I’ve been serviced at so far, I’m definitely coming back here with my family.

I just had my hair cut at Austin Fancy Cut Corp and I will NEVER go back there Again! They lie about there prices and the lady that cut my hair clearly had no idea what she was doing. I asked her to layer the front but not the back and you would think as an experience hair dresser this would be simple but she manage to mess up my hair. The layers in the front were not layered properly and the back she cut way to much off. To make matters worse when I went to pay after having such a bad hair cut she told me the cut was more then what I was told over the phone. I will NEVER go back there EVER again. I live in forest hills and I know a lot of people here and trust me, I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone not even a guy! They BUTCHERED my hair!!! LADIES — NEVER GO THERE!!!

I have been coming to Zhanna every week for 3 years and she does the most amazing blowout in 20 minutes. She also gave me a trim and long layers. I am super picky about my haircuts, but Zhanna was flawless. And to the person who said Zhanna cut her hair bad, if you hated the way she cut your hair… why would you get your hair cut THREE times then complain?! Sounds like a fake review! Also, if Zhanna is busy, Paul can do amazing blowouts as well. They are all super talented with hair!

Great service! I found out about this place from a co-​worker and I am so happy I did. The salon is conveniently located close to the train station and they work 7 days a week. I had a hair cut and blow from Zhanna who was very attentive and cut my hair the way I wanted it. Also the environment is very friendly and you can tell they like doing what they do. Overall a great experience, I will definitely come back.

The Unilocal reviews about this place are true… I’m very happy with my haircut, with the price of my haircut and also with the way Zhanna and Gabby took care of me. Love my layers and appreciate that Zhanna knew and understood exactly what I want, and also offered to give advice on color in the future if I’m interested. Got a haircut, wash and blow out today. Nancy was so sweet and kind and listened to everything I said and gave her honest opinion when I needed it. I love my haircut and would go back. Nancy kept referring to me by name which really stuck with me.

After reading such great reviews, I had to give it a try. Zhanna really is amazing!! She gave me such a beautiful haircut. Lets start off with their service. Everyone was so friendly, starting from the shampoo girl. Zhanna herself is a sweetheart and very talented with those sciorrors. She kept a great conversation, as well as keep me calm that would be a nice layer cut without taking away too much length. The salon itself is nicely decorated, and clean. The price cant be beat 18 $ for a lovely wash, cut and dry. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend:)

I first came here, because I had a horrible mishap with cutting my hair at home! I was looking for an inexpensive but high-​rated place to fix my hair. I came early in the morning asking for a cut. I believe the name of my first stylist, Nancy, fixed my hair. Not only she fixed it, but it came out better than expected!
I went back today to get a cut and get my hair dyed. I originally had long hair (almost to my waistline), and I was debating whether or not to cut my hair short. This is a big decision since I always had long hair! I went back, because my stylist did an amazing job, and it wasn’t expensive. Plus, the place I used to go previously I did not care for. I called at their opening hours to see if they can fit me in today. The person who answered the phone told me to come in.
My first stylist wasn’t there today, but Dalia did my hair. I asked her how I wanted it, and the color I liked. She gave me exactly what I wanted! She did such an amazing job with my hair! I have received many compliments from my friends on how well it turned out. It wasn’t even expensive either! I did the Cut, Blow and Dye deal they have advertised on Unilocal.If I went to another place, they would’ve charged double the amount with worse results.
The place is small, and it looks like they only have one sink to wash customers’ hair. It also needs some renovation. But don’t let appearance fool you. There is this one stylist who always tells people they are beautiful, which I find very sweet. The stylists here are all nice and extremely professional! If you want a great value with amazing results, come here!

I just wanna start off by saying I showed up anxious. I’ve had a year of bad hair cuts and colors. I knew I needed help, but didn’t wanna leave disappointed.again. From the moment I first spoke to Janet to the moment I left, I was treated with complete respect. Paul dyed and cut my hair and within two minutes he understood what I wanted and took the wheel. Sometimes, you gotta just trust the stylist. I am so happy! I cannot thank them enough. Xoxo.

Wanted a fresh new look, didn’t want to travel far and pay an arm-​and-​a-​leg so I researched on Unilocal.Found this local place in Forest Hills, Qnz, came in and was welcomed with open arms by Zhanna (the owner and head designer). It’s a family feeling there, most spoke Russian, and even though I do not speak, I still felt really comfortable in their WARM atmosphere.
Zhanna is TRULY an expert! I wanted some color and a fresh cut (me, who NEVER really changes her look) and she DEFINITELY delivered! She suggested some options from pics on her phone and I trusted her instincts (from her stellar reviews on Unilocal).
She did not disappoint! She gave me some fresh «biolage» (sp?) highlights and a casual cut and styled blow. When she finished she showed the whole entire salon my look and everyone was so sweet and said «Wow! Gorgeous!» What a way to make a girl feel beautiful, ya know?
Highly recommend this place and do ask for Zhanna! I will definitely come back!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I was greeted rudely for showing up early and actually yelled at by a stylist when I asked for books to look at while I was waiting, who then told me not to talk to her because she was «too busy!» I ended up walking out. If you want to be treated like dirt and like they are doing you a favor, go there.

I recently discovered this place through Unilocal and went to give a try since I had to get a haircut. I must say, my hair can’t get a better cut than what I got. The quality of my hair is not so great but the lady name ‘NENCY’ have done a great job with my hair. I’m very satisfied with my haircut. Price is very reasonable. Will definitely go back again to get haircut.

When I first entered, I felt a little awkward. the owner told me to come back in 20 minutes. So I came back in 10 – 15 min. She told me to sit down and let me know that Paul would do my hair for me. The Miss that washed my hair was so sweet. Paul was very honest with me and gave me a lot of volume! I was initially going to get a long bob but he told me it would suit me better if I get layers and keep my length. He offered to color my hair but I informed him that I just recently used box dye and my hair is beyond dry and damaged. I am so done with hair dye for now. He was respectful of my decision. He made small talk which was nice. I paid $ 43ish (plus tax w/​o tip).
The place is very small, and the products including the blow dryer is not all that fancy but for the price your paying, I would probably come back for the wash, cut and dry that’s $ 18. But I wasn’t a big fan of the blow dry, it was too hot and I had a few fly aways
