Average.
I don’t comment until I been to a place several times; the crew and food here is a hit or miss. Sometimes it is good; but unfortunately most of the times it is just average at best. For the price of 4 you might as well go to El Torrito at least the food is consistent there.
The servers here seem to always be upset and it projects in there attitude which it is unfortunate. I remember when they first opened here and it was a great place to come.

First timer at Tio’s. Was looking for some fast, decent Mexican food and i was successful. If you need a quick fix check this place out. Theyve got a pretty large menu of just about every mexican dish you can imagine plus breakfast and kids meals. There is plenty of seating as well as a cantina. The service is great. I was in and out in about 15 minutes with a large order.
I got almost plain carne asada fries, my wife got a cheese enchilada and tacos. My daughter had rice and beans. The carne asada fries were fine but you should take into comsideration i only added cheese and sour cream to mine. My wife liked the cheese enchilada and thought the tacos were great. She said they tasted just like from home. Definitely coming back here again.

This is our New Mexican Restaurant! We love the friendly family atmosphere! I love that we can get our own drinks. One of my pet peeves is when we run out of drinks waiting for a waitress! Not a problem here when you can just get your own drink. We enjoyed the Menudo, beans and rice and the kids enjoyed the pancakes. We’ll be coming back soon.

I love this place, but I’m a sucker for a good potato taco. I’ve never been disappointed with their food. Their hot sauce is pretty good, but they really need to invest in some call waiting. I’ve tried to phone in my order dozens of times and not been able to get through because the line is busy.

Machaca burrito… ehh 2.5÷10. Cheese enchiladas wow under cooked and zero to no flavor 0⁄10. I’m sorry Tio’s does not pass as «good» Mexican food. Three strikes and you’re out. This is the second strike and I’ve decided to call them out early. Flavorless location.

Keep searching. Their food is not authentic Mexican. Everything tastes like it’s out of a can or box. I’ve given this place too many chances and every time it’s dissapointing. How can a Mexican food restaurant only offer two salsas at their salsa bar? One is super watery and has tons of onion, if your into that. And The other is just not hot at all. Chalula or Tapatio is better than what they have.

Place was not busy at all for breakfast, yet they took too long to bring our food; they forgot our tall stack of pancakes; napkins are super, super cheap went through a lot; and it smelled like cleaning fluid. Yeah, I think we’ll just stick to their Taco Tuesdays to go

Came here with the grandparents for Taco Tuesday and I was sold. Best taco Tuesday I’ve been to in the I.E. thus far. You get the most bang for your buck. Special is buy one beef or chicken taco and get one free.
I usually order 4 tacos at other Taco Tuesday restaurants and that barely fills me up. Ordered 4 here and I was so stuffed that I couldn’t breathe. Even missed the gym because I got food coma and fell asleep.
Beware though, they do not have unlimited chips. So if you come with a group order separately so everyone gets their own basket of chips.
Very spacious with lots of seating. Service was very helpful and polite as well. Definitely coming back on a Tuesday.

This is my first time here. I ordered beef sope and my pops got carne asada burrito. It was pretty good actually. They need to work on salsa and customer service big time. I repeated my order several times and they still messed it up. They gave my dad the wrong burrito to begin with. I asked for ground beef yet they gave me shredded. I asked for no guac yet still had some. I might give this place a second chance.

My boyfriend brought me to eat at this restaurant because he said it was good … So I order a plate of flautas I was craving so bad. So I finally got my plate I try the beans and they tasted like pork that they did them with pork grease. The rice also had a bad after taste I was hoping that the fautas were good but that was my major disappointment the chicken from the flauta was bland .no flavor and the flautas were flour tortillas !!! Come on flour tortillas a big disappointment … The only thing that there good is there carne asada tacos

Regarding call in orders… Ordered an all meat menudo — received all hominy no meat! Drove 15 minutes each way to pick this up and they expect me to drive back to correct their mistake! Where’s the customer service? Only an exchange was offered to correct my order… what about the time, gas, and frustration over this mess — I asked them to deliver my new menudo and they refused — last time I visit, and it’s a shame their food was good.

Food was gross! No flavor at all. Salsa taste like a can of tomato sauce with onion thrown in. I order a shrimp quesadilla, how can you mess that up? Well the shrimp was burnt and the damn thing was so greasy i had to put a napkin on the bottom to try to soak up some. I just took it back after I took a bite and instantly felt like throwing up. The owner proceeded to argue with me that all food with cheese is greasy. Finally I had to tell him I didn’t like it to stop talking and just give me my money back because that would be the end result anyway. He just walked away and a cashier had to help me. She sincerely apologized for him and said he was the owner, which is sad. Been here before and it is crappy with super high prices that are NOT worth it at all! I would rather eat at taco bell and I hate taco bell! If you decide to go here good luck on wasting your hard earned money!

A frozen chicken taco deserves solid 2 stars.
Good point: they have happy hours for beers and some appetizers.
Parking: this is Fontana. What do you worry about? No parking hassle.
Food: this is where got my attention. I had #2 2 hard taco combo… chicken and pork.
Unfortunately chicken was clearly old and frozen in the freezer and defrosted… I tasted the freezer smell and taste. It was one of those «kitchen nightmare» moment.
Food was bad…
Interior: clean and decent. Nothing to complain
Service: decent.
This place is just okay. But I had bad food, so this makes a 2 star place. Sorry. I cannot help…

Food was good and the new bar is amazing. The Spicy Watermelon Margarita is a must try. The Food and Drinks are reasonably priced. Im glad I tried Tio’s and will be going back soon especially since it’s not far from my home.
