This is a bit overdue but I would be remiss if I didn’t leave a review for Deb. Last year I finally decided I was ready to buy my first home. I asked a friend who had recently sold his home in El Dorado Hills about his experience. He said his agent had done a great job for him and that he would recommend her in a second – Debby Colman with ReMAX. She sold his home quickly and at a price he was thrilled with. I did my research online and she has great reviews to back up what my friend told me.
I interviewed Deb along with two other agents who had great reviews of their own. I felt comfortable with Debby immediately upon meeting her. She has been doing real estate in Sacramento for 30 years. This is the biggest purchase I’ve made in my life so I wanted a true professional. Debby was the obvious choice to help me find my first home.
It took several months of looking because I had some very specific criteria in mind but Debby was extremely patient with me. She never pressured me to buy something and was clearly most concerned with making sure I found a home I would be happy with. What I appreciated most about working with her, aside from her experience, is her integrity. She never tried to up-​sell me and when we were out looking at homes and she didn’t hesitate to give me her honest input regarding what she felt were the positives and the negatives about each home. Her experience and input were incredibly valuable. There were many potential downsides to certain homes that I would not have been aware of had she not pointed them out.
I narrowed my choices between two homes, one was substantially less expensive than the other. Debby actually told me she thought the less expensive home was the better buy for me. That’s honesty for you! My offer was accepted and the whole escrow process was a breeze – very efficiently managed by Debby. She kept me informed almost daily and responded immediately to all of my questions. I got a beautiful home and I couldn’t be happier in it! Debby is truly a fantastic agent– I can’t sing her praises enough! Thanks Deb!

Debby helped us buy our first house in Placerville. She was professional and informative every step of the way. After each house we visited (sometimes 2 – 3 in a day), she’d write up the pros and cons of each, including market research as to the value of the homes. This was extremely helpful and ensured that we didn’t by the so-​so house with the blueberries in the backyard in the not-​good neighborhood.
Each house hunting round, we so looked forward to seeing Debby! She kept our 2.5 year old busy while we looked around the houses. He loved her, and they had so much fun together playing cars. It was fun to watch and listen to them :) We are so thankful to Debby and her expert help in our house search. We ended up with a beautiful home! And we consider her a friend for life.
Also, her website rocks! We have seen a lot of real estate agent websites that aren’t all that helpful at all. But once she gets your search in place, her website is better and way more up to date than any of the big name home sites (zillow, trulia, etc.).

When it comes to choosing a real estate agent my recommendation is Deborah Colman. Over the last 20 years she has handled all our real estate needs with great precision and care. Debby helped us sell our home in Elk Grove. and purchase our present home in Folsom in the 1990’s. Her skill in handling all the details made the home purchase smooth and flawless. In 2010 Debby once again helped me sell my late mothers home. She helped me stage the home and it sold in less then a month. In 2013 my daughter and son-​in-​law purchased their first home in Arden Park. Again Debby took care of every inspection and handled all the details involved in the purchase of their home. Within two months they were moving in! With Debby handling your real estate needs you can’t go wrong!

My husband and I have extremely high standards and have been disappointed with how difficult it has been for us to find quality people to hire for various projects. People who follow through and do exactly what they say they are going to do in the time they said they were going to do it seems to be rare these days which is why sites like Angie’s list and Unilocal even exist.
Debby is exactly that kind of person. And she has an amazing personality to boot! She knows her business exceptionally well. She says what she means and takes her role as a real estate agent to a whole new level than what I have ever witnessed before. She isn’t in it just for the commission. She actually invests in building a relationship with her clients in order to ensure they sell at the right time in the right manner to be successful. She is one of a kind. We were lucky to find her!

Debby sold my home within weeks and I could not have been happier with anyone else. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional, experienced and competent. I appreciated her high level of communication and detail every step of the way. She not only covers all the bases in the business transaction but is so caring and respectful. I have had the pleasure to work with Debby as a mortgage professional to her real estate clients. What I can truly respect about Debby is her drive to make sure that her clients are taken care of. Not every deal is cut and dry and she will be quick to point out where her clients could use a little more consultation or customer service. Although our deals did not work out, I am truly hoping to work with her again. She has that «This is what I want out of you attitude» but coming from a friendly perspective. I admired her follow up to provide insight as to where things could have been different.
I do have respect for her and her business ethics and would recommend her to clients. They will be greatly taken care of!

Debbie did an outstanding job for us on two transactions in 2012. The first was the sale of our home of 14 years in El Dorado Hills. She listed and sold it at the highest price seen in there in years, successfully navigating multiple inspections, reports and negotiations with the buyer. We then retained her for our new home also in El Dorado Hills where she handled the same scope in a very tight time frame. She is very professional, diligent, experienced… and a calming influence which is vital when buying/​selling your personal residence. She also has a great sense of humor which is just as important! We highly recommend her.

Debbie is the BEST. My husband and I bought our first home 11 years ago, and Debbie handled our search and transaction. We didnt know much about the process at all, and we didnt know Debbie either so it was hard to know who to trust. Debbie was AMAZING, she never pressured us and actually got us into a better home than we thought possible. 11 years later, I am still in contact with her, and she ALWAYS answers my questions. I feel like Debbie has been a friend from the beginning and when we correspond today about real estate, she is so prompt and friendly and truly tries to give you the best information possible and always looking out for your best interest.
