A Perfect Groom is an exceptional groomer. We have been entrusting our loved dogs with Kim for over 15 years and have never been disappointed. The dogs in fact enjoy their visits but are always happy to see us to go home though.

I’ve been going to Kim at Perfect Groom for 15 years… first my dear departed Shih Tzu and now my sweet Havanese. Kim is reliable and honest. It’s nothing fancy but I don’t think the dogs mind a bit! Her prices are good and she does a great job!

This place is a hidden gem! I came in here with my dog with out an appointment and Kim (The owner) came right to me and clipped my little boy’s nails while he sat in my arms on the couch. I was so impressed with how good she was with him and how fast she was (not easy when doing such a good job). Also, the shop was clean, the dogs all looked happy, and she has WONDERFUL prices!!! I will be back without a shadow of a doubt! Thank you!

I have taken my mini-​schnauzer Lacey to A Perfect Groom for 7 years … ever since she was a puppy … Kim gave Lacey her very first cut, and it was an extremely positive experience, which I understand is very important to a dog in the long run. I lived in Folsom at the time, but have since moved to Rocklin (two years ago). Kim is well worth the drive. She has been so loving and kind towards my dog, and I wouldn’t take Lacey anywhere else. I highly recommend Kim as a groomer. She is professional, the shop is very clean and nice, and she is super friendly. And the prices are great! I have all positive things to say about Kim, and my dog Lacey looks forward to seeing her monthly. Oh, and I drop my Boston terrier Stella off there as well from time to time to get a bath. Stella jumps for joy when she sees Kim! :)

I took my mini schnauzer to a perfect groom oct 2^nd. I dropped him off at 9am and was told he would be done at 1pm. When I called at 1pm they had stated he hadn’t even been worked on yet. Shortly after I received a call (1:45) saying he was done. When picking him up I paided Kim with a $ 100. bill she began to give me $ 20.‘s. I asked for change so I could give her a tip. She gave me change. I gave her a $ 5. Tip and put the rest in my wallet with out checking. (Dumb me) After I left I dropped off my dog and picked up my daughter. When I pulled out the cash to give back the change to my boyfriend I only had $ 35. I don’t carry cash around so I knew exactly what was supposed to be in my wallet. I kept doing the math in my head. Making sure I didn’t make a mathematical mistake. So here is my break down
$ 40. Cut
$ 5. Tip
$ 100. Cash
Change should have been $ 55. Not $ 35.
When I called Kim to talk to her she was acussing me of lying. I could barely get a word in. Her voice was ellivated and very rude. I’d rather eat the $ 20 dollars than ever deal with this shop. The services are ok. For what you pay. My dog had a very short schnauzer cut, which I asked for. But it was uneven. And I don’t believe he was bathed. I asked for his teeth to be brushed. And they forgot. I will never return. Even if asked. And I will never recommend them. #2thumbs down!

Can’t say enough about this place it’s super reasonably priced and same day appointments is so convenient for me. Not only that it’s clean and my dogs have never had such good haircuts it’s really a homie feel like your dropping your dogs off at your friends house so my dogs don’t even freak out when we pull up. I hope they stay in business forever! They also have a funny cat that hangs out in the waiting area on the table like he’s watching over the place I got a kick out of that!

We have been taking our Samoyeds to A Perfect Groom for 20 years and now our Labradoodle. Kim has always done a spectacular job on the Samoyeds which take a tremendous amount of brushing. We now have a Labradoodle which she gives the most adorable hair cuts to. She does all of this at a very reasonable rate. Kim and Natasha are very skilled at their profession and treat our K-​9 kids with love and gentle care. Kim and her staff took special care and attention when our K-​9 Kids became senior and brought to our attention any lumps or anything else on their bodies that should not be there. I highly recommend A perfect groom for your fur kids.

She does a great job on my dog. She bathed, blew out my lab and did the anal glands on my dog for a very good price. My mom also takes her dogs here. Open Saturdays.

Very Friendly and Accommodating. She does a great grooming job. Same day or next day service depending on how early you call, call early she can fill up fast. She works hard, loves animals and my Aussie looks great!
