I enjoyed the lamb and beef shwarma, the rice was cooked good not under cooked. They also have spicy hummus, I really enjoyed that it has a bit more kick than the regular hummus.

This place was recommended to me by a friend, I ordered their beef shawarma wrap and kitchen pizza and were very satisfied with the taste and portion. The owner also gave us their cake to taste and it is to die for. Will definitely come back here.

I was so happy when I found out that there’s a kabob place right by my work! I was sick of eating junk food from my workplace for lunch, so I decided to try this place out. It’s super small and the two men that were working were very nice. They gave me a sample of the beef and lamb shawarma while I was waiting for my chicken kabob plate. It was really yummy, and I would definitely consider ordering that next time instead of my usual chicken. The plate had good portions. The chicken was delish, and the rice was cooked perfectly. The hummus tasted different than what I’m used to, but still yummy. I will for sure return.

I’m so glad my bf and I found this hidden place in Folsom! The place is located next to sushi unlimited and there’s a lot of parking. The food is very flavorful and delicious. The prices are very good for the amount of food you get on each plate. My boyfriend got the combo platter $ 13.99 with ground beef/lamb and beef shawarma. He really enjoyed his plate and said the ground beef/lamb was very juicy and had a lot of flavor. The pita was also really warm and good especially when we dipped it in the delicious yogurt dill tziki sauce. I got the chicken kabob plate $ 7.99 and it came with rice(really good for plain rice), 5 pieces of chicken breast kabobs, salad, and tziki sauce instead of the hummus that comes with the plate. The chicken had a lot of flavor as well and tasted really moist. Next time I want to try the ground chicken. Falafel 5pc. $ 2.50 Originally we didn’t order this, but the owner gave us a sample while we were eating and omg it was sooo good that I had to order some Togo. It had a lot of flavor like everything else we ordered and it was crispy and not oily at all for being fried. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be coming back. The owners are really nice and have great customer service. Because I switched out the hummus for tziki sauce on my plate, he kindly gave us a complimentary hummus to try :). Please disregard the other bad reviews and give this place a try! I have no idea why they didn’t like this place… but we did!

Very disappointed in this place, considering it was so highly rated. Should have known when i walked in on a Saturday evening and we were the only customers(the entire time). Also should have guessed when the hummus came with store-bought pita bread(and not very good store bought pita). The hummus tasted watery and seemed to be missing an ingredient, just didn’t taste right. Maybe that’s why they only gave us a ridiculously small portion of the pita to go with it(when i asked for more, they«generously» gave me 2 more triangles). The shwarma was even worse, the meat did not taste fresh and i struggled to eat it. My wife refused to eat more than a couple of bites of her kabab. We literally went to another restaurant afterwards to wash the experience from our minds(and mouths). The ambience matched the food. Not sure what this restaurant is aspiring to, but it needs some serious work if it plans to stay in business. I have a hard time believing that the others who gave this place 5 stars actually dined there and aren’t related to the owners. If you like authentic middle eastern food, you will want to stay far away!

I’m middle eastern so my first test of figuring out if a good middle eastern place is worth coming back to is the rice, and I have to say it wasn’t thoroughly cooked and fell very short in the taste department. I ordered the kabob which accompanied the rice and again this is a staple dish that was underwhelming to say the least. It was very dry and chewy not what I expected. If you’ve had good kabob or koobideh kabob you’ll agree that it’s suppose to be very tender, juicy and easy to cut into. I also ordered a large salad that was just ok. It looked like it came straight out of a bag and whether it did or didn’t probably wouldn’t have mattered if there was an effort to add flavor i.e., seasonal veggies or even fruit to add complexity to this rather bland salad. The fries were probably the only redeeming side to the whole entrée.

I do not recommend the kabob, at all. Really gamey, not yummy. I couldn’t taste any seasoning. The pickles and salad were not authentic and delicious like ones I have come to expect from similar establishments. The only thing that was ok were the falafel balls. My friends got the pizza. They said it was ok but did not like the crust. If you want the real deal arabic kabob, go to Babylon in Arden Arcade.

The BD, Bro, Twin and I were really bummed when Pita Pita closed down in Folsom. They served really delicious gyros, platters, and salads. Amongst a sea of burgers, pizzas, and Americanized foods, Pita Pita was a great ethnic fast food option. So we were really happy when we found out that Folsom P + K just recently opened about 2 weeks ago. It’s a fairly small but clean store in an unassuming strip mall. There’s not much for ambiance but it’s an open kitchen so you can see your food being prepared. The employees are very friendly and eager to please. Food: French fries for the kiddo was perfect. The rice in my combo platter was also perfect. The falafels were fried well, not dried, not greasy, and super tasty. My lamb shawarma was good. The salad that came with my combo was colorful and the dressing zesty(was it Italian?). But everything else needed… something. For example, the hummus that came with my combo was creamy and had the correct texture but it also had a bitterness to it that made me question if it was going bad. Their spicy hummus was better but I don’t know if the jalapeños were just masking the bitterness. It needed a tang to it, like more lemon. The tzaziki sauce was the same. It had the creaminess and fat the lean meat craves but it needed a brightness to cut the fat from the yogurt and to cut that kind of one note flavor that beef and lamb sometimes gives off. Once again, maybe more lemon for the sauce? And definitely more sauce was needed than a drizzle on my platter. My beef and lamb kebab was a bit on the dry side. My lamb and beef shwarma was under seasoned. Hummus and tzaziki sauce would’ve helped tremendously as the added fat and brightness/zing that the dish needed if done right. BD ordered the chicken shwarma wrap. It was pretty heavy on the all spice/cinnamon/cumin/clove spices, usually reserved for the lamb and beef so he wasn’t used to that. He said he was missing that simple salty char that comes from the meat being on the spit. He said it had a gamey tasted like there was lamb in it. When I tasted it I just thought it was over powered by the spices. It was definitely missing something to cut that heavy one note flavor, like feta cheese or more lemon in the hummus, et. We’re also one of those people that enjoy our gyros served in a pita than a wrap. The wrap usually ends up getting soggy from the sauces because it’s usually thinner than a pita. All in all, with a bit of tweaking, we would be coming here more often even though it’s a good 20 – 25 min drive. They already have a one up on Pita Pita. Folsom P+K’s falafels are way better than Pita Pita’s.

As a middle eastern, I’ve always had a hard time finding a good shawerma in the area. Nothing ever compared to the ones I would eat in the Jordan. I saw that this place recently opened up. I thought I’d try it. I got a beef shawerma and my brother got a chicken one. Upon entering the people who own/work their were extremely nice. The man nicely handed me a falafel to try(which was delicious) and the woman who helped me was extremely patient and made sure to make it how I liked it. The shawerma was exactly what I’ve been looking for. My brother loved it too! Great people, great food, and great prices. Will definitely be back ! Looking forward to try their pizza!

Recently went with few friends and loved the food, atmosphere and service. The Pizza and the Garden salad were delicious but their Baba ghanoush is the best I’ve ever had! We’ve been craving their food and planning to go back soon.
