Basically the only place in Flushing where you can comfortably sip your coffee and do computer work. … except when the Wifi doesn’t work. Specifically came here to enjoy such an environment, but was sorely disappointed, so I couldn’t post this review until I went home. Ordered the vanilla latte($ 4.30 with tax), quite tasty. But I’m not a constant coffee drinker so any coffee tastes fine to me. On an early Friday afternoon, the place was pretty full of students studying, young professionals and retired seniors chatting with their friends. They have a nice selection of coffee, boba drinks, desserts, ice cream, and a small bakery selection at the front of the store. Would recommend this place to hang out with friends, chat, and listen to mellow music but don’t count on using the Wifi for work.

This place is one of the many Korean bakeries in the area. They have a lot of seating area, but to me the chairs are way too low and uncomfortable. There’s a $ 10 minimum for credit cards if you choose to pay with that. Honestly their prices for coffee and dessert/baked goods is tad bit on the expensive side if you ask me. Their bathroom is a bit hard to find given its downstairs and there’s only one for both male and female. Wish they made one upstairs as well. Overall, it’s a pretty quiet place to be if you want to discuss stuff with coworkers or study, or if you just want to sit and chill.

I really wanted to leave this place a better rating but it’s not happening because their WiFi is often not working, also their bathroom is downstairs in another section of the building that you have to exit and take an elevator to. Aside from those two points, this place is not bad if you’re just looking for coffee, cake and whatever pastries to keep yourself amused. It’s got a good amount of space with large tables for groups and small tables for more personal space. I don’t understand their menu. I see ppl picking up big colorful bowls of fruit and ice-cream but no idea how to order, what is called nor see it on the menu. Can someone explain this to me?

Conveniently located in the heart of flushing. Aside from the distracting construction that is going around in all directions there is really nothing to complain about. They have a large seating area which gives you a nice place to socialize with friends. The coffee is average but the pastries more than make up for it. Personal favorite: NY cheesecake PRICESARESOMEWHATHIGH

Super overpriced and not that good. I highly do not recommend this place at all. Try café bench or Paris baguette. Save yourself.

Do not order a sandwich when you are in a rush… I think I literally waited 20 mins for one when I was the only person who ordered food… The honey bread was good, if you want something super sweet. The espresso was good also.

As the others said in their reviews, this is a nice and modern place to come and sit(for a long time). Sit and chat, sit and study, or sit and eat and eat and eat. It gives off a very peaceful and serene vibe where you can really concentrate and study without much distractions. They also don’t kick you out after 90 minutes or so as they do in some other places. So if you’re looking for somewhere to study without much distractions I guess you’ve found your place. Ding ding! As for the food, it’s alright. Nothing special. It leans more towards the pricey side. There isn’t much variety either in the edible foods. Their coffee too… it’s aite. Nothing special, pretty much standard. I think this kind of store would appeal more to people who are looking for a cutesy, fancy, and modern place to sit and catch up with old friends. I wouldn’t especially come out of my way to come here to have some coffee. Also, wifi isn’t that great as others have mentioned below. Very laggy…

So I’ve been here a couple and I must say the atmosphere is always awesome and the food is always great. But make sure you order before 9:30pm because the kitchen closes at 10 which I’ve unfortunately encountered a few times. But I must say if with the kitchen closed the pastries that the staff advise me to try are awesome. So glad to have found this gem it totally replaces in my opinion paris bagette.

Definitely a go to place to get your sweet cravings fulfilled. The best item I’ve tried so far is the Caramel Cinnamon Honey Bread, which was definitely big enough to share with friends. The atmosphere was very chill and the store itself was very spacious. The server was very friendly and helpful with helping us choose our order. She even let us have samples of gelato to help us make our decision for the gelato and waffle order we purchased. We will definitely be returning in the near future :)

My brother loves their golden toast. He ordered the garlic and cheese. When he told me he wanted that I was like cheese, garlic and honey ehhhhh, but surprisely it tastes good. There was a good amount of cheese and garlic. When you have your first bit, you don’t taste the garlic much until afterward. Because of the garlic & cheese honey toast, My brother discovered his love for honey toast. I ordered the cookie & cream ice parfait. When I got my ice parfait I thought there wasn’t enough cookie but when you mix it up, it’s the perfect amount of cookie. In every bit you can take Oreo. The only thing that bothered me were the seatings. I wish the tables and chairs were higher. Other than that the servers were nice and the environment was good. I would deff come here again to try the other ice parfait.

If you’re looking for a refreshing, not-too-sweet dessert, try the matcha green tea shaved ice. A bit pricey for $ 11.95, but we shared one among 4 people and it was enough. Nice texture and ratio of ice cream to ice to toppings, which includes walnuts.

Horrible costumer service first of all. All Employees plus the manager had soo much attitude and were not friendly at all. The drinks there aren’t so great either. I ordered a original milk tea with boba and my friend ordered Thai tea smoothie. The drinks taste terrible & the boba was over cooked. It was my first time visiting and it will be my last. never coming here ever again.

I am here very often to study for hours. The honey bread collection is great to try! It even inspired me to put honey on my breads at home. You have to try all the breads… esp garlic and cheese… mmmmmm!!! frapp was toooooo sweet. i think it gave me diabetes lol. ask for less sugar! you won’t regret! unfortunately the wifi is very bad… you will NEVER connect

The décor in this place is very consistent with other caffe benes. It is warm and clean. When you walk in, the staff will greet you. The drinks are quite good at a reasonable price for a Korean coffee shop. For the ample space, you would think many people would want to chat with friends, work on projects and such. But the latter is a rather hard task to do. Their wifi is either slow or inoperable. The whole location has only 1 power outlet so if you’re not sitting there, then you won’t be able to charge your device, and the worst part is their restroom. I don’t understand why they have such a huge location and then choose to not have a restroom. If you’re in the unlucky situation where you have to go, then make enough time to go to the adjoined building, go downstairs and then find the single bathrooms.

Me and my girl went there one hour before they close. It’s my first time there so I was looking at the menu closely. We stand there for awhile, finally when we are ready to order, the guy in the counter told us the kitchen was close that we can only order stuff in the front.(We stand there like 5min, in this 5 minutes the guy kept ask if we are ready to order, why not save our time and tell us the kitchen is close?) So, when my girlfriend is ordering, I walk to right side of the counter trying to see if theres cake that I can order. The guy kept presure my girlfrend and ask«if that’ll be everything.»(If there are other customers behind us, then I totally understand, but there’s none.) Then, after we finish our order. I stand in front the ice cream counter(they have desserts that shows customer, but is fake) suddenly, they close the lights of the counter… I was kind of mad, but my girlfriend said to me maybe because they are close soon so they close the light. After we get our drinks and sit. They turn on the lights again. Bad experience, won’t come back again!

Found this place on a whim driving, while actually trying to find another café and being unsuccessful at that, tried this place. I have been in love ever since, and introduced this place to many of my co-workers! This is the best bubble tea I have ever had, so many people I work with LOVE the Taro bubble tea, and it is my personal favorite. I’ve had the portabella sandwich and the teriyaki chicken sandwich, both of which are flavorful, filling, and delicious. This place has a cute little bakery station filled with a variety of macaroons, parfaits, and cheesecakes. I love the ambiance here. No matter how cold or wintery it is outside, the inside of this place is charming and relaxing. There are even tables outside for the warmer months. Love, love, love it here. Dreaming of a free day that I can come here and get some of my work done! VERY clean space and helpful staff!

I was skeptical about spending $ 5 on their New York Cheesecake, and with good reason — it’s below average quality. Avoid. My friend got the brownies and seemed to enjoy them. Beware, this place is packed and loud so don’t come here expecting to study or to easily find a spot to sit. They have ice cream as well. I tried their green tea and sea salt caramel and wasn’t particularly fond of them.
