History

Established in 2012.

Helen and Tim Young are a husband-​and-​wife team with strong academic backgrounds who believe in the academic success of children. They have been residents of the area for over 30 years and have three children who have gone through the LISD education system.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Helen has a mathematics degree from Centenary College of Louisiana and has received her Secondary Education Certificate in mathematics. She is excited to be utilizing her knowledge and experience to run and operate The Tutoring Center, Flower Mound and contribute to the community by providing a service to increase the academic skills of children in our community.

Tim has a BBA Management degree from Amber University and is certified in Secondary Mathematics and Special Education. He has been a teacher at Flower Mound High School since it opened in 1999, teaching Teen Leadership, Algebra, Math Models and Geometry. In 2004, he received the LISD District Teacher of the Year award. He has tutored many students and is excited to promote higher academic skills and help students increase their abilities to learn, focus and to become self motivated.
