History

Established in 2012.

Mathnasium is a math learning center dedicated to teaching math in a way that makes sense to kids. The results are an increase in overall confidence, better school performance and a more positive attitude towards math.

At Mathnasium, we specialize in teaching kids math the way that makes sense to them. Using the time-​tested proprietary Mathnasium Method™ and curriculum that has helped thousands of students in more than 200 Mathnasium centers nationwide, we are committed to helping your child catch up, keep up, and get ahead in math. Our team of highly skilled instructors is passionate about math and helping kids and has been rigorously trained to teach the Mathnasium way.

All Mathnasium students receive one-​on-​one instruction and a customized learning plan based on the unique needs and goals of each child.

Meet the Business Owner

Shital P.

Business Owner

Shital has worked in education for the past 13 years. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics Education from the University of Central Arkansas, she went on to pursue her Master of Science in Instruction and Curriculum at the University of Memphis. Shital taught middle and high school math from 2002 – 2005. In 2005, Shital and her husband moved to Chicago. There, Shital gained a wealth of experience teaching at a charter school and later serving as a Math Instruction and Curriculum Coach for a remarkable non-​profit organization that manages the Turnaround transformation of chronically under-​performing public schools in Chicago.

Shital has enjoyed every minute of owning and operating Mathnasium in Flower Mound. Having the opportunity to provide a rich learning opportunity for Flower Mound area students has been extremely rewarding.
