Great experience at Tacoma RV couldn’t be happier, from the beginning to the end has been awesome

The people at Tacoma RV are very nice and informative. They just made the purchase of our new trailer a wonderfully positive experience. Thank you everyone!

Had a really great experience, never felt pressure from the moment we walked on the lot… all the staff were helpful when we had questions… can’t wait to use my new camper!

Pleasant buying experience for the most part. They worked with us to address our warranty issues and deposit policy on warranty parts; met us in the middle. The commission policy allows for non pushy sales.

Buying the RV was fine. Trying to actually get some decent customer service — absolutely dreadful experience. Once your out the door, your are on your own. Service, what a joke. They are open from 9 – 5, so if you’re retired, it might work for you, but if you work, expect a three month wait for an emergency. Of course, I called camping world, explained the situation and they got us in on a Saturday, right away. That is customer service.

I wish Tacoma RV had two Unilocal… One for purchasing a RV and one for the service department.
I would give 4 – 5 stars for the sales department. We had a positive experience with them.
The service department is complete opposite. It took them three months to do simple warranty work. These were simple issues like trim that was coming loose, etc. Issues that were discovered at time of purchase. Then when we picked up the trailer we noticed they had bent the spare tire frame. They did replace this when we pointed it out but had we not said anything new they would have just let us go in our merry way.
Another issue was a window that wouldn’t open correctly. They didn’t even order the new window until they had it for two month!
Won’t be taking our travel trailer to Tacoma RV for servicing again.

So I bought my RV in 2012 from Ladonna and I was happy as a clam. I’ve had all my service completed from Tacoma RV, and even though they are al UW fans (Go Ducks), my service and attention was outstanding. Sounds pretty normal so far, right? Now here is the curve ball. In August I had a tree fall on my rig. Tacoma RV sent a truck out to Ocean Shores to pick it up, since the tow truck driver failed to show up. Found out a couple days later that my rig was totaled. Been fighting with WECU to get me the information and even Allied GAP insurance is playing games as to how much they are going to pay. I called and talked to Julie in finance, and she has put a priority on my warranty refund so I can close this mess out. Oh, and let me say, I was upside down due to a leaking trailer I bought from Fife RV that I traded in.
Julie has nothing to gain by helping me, except outstanding customer service. If and when I buy another 5^th wheel, I will go back to Tacoma RV. For those that think the customer service stops when you drive away, you must be in a different place than I have been. Thank you Tacoma RV and thank you, thank you, thank you Julie!

Bottom line there Service department is the week link at this dealership. I know Lee and Ladona Meadows and only half of the things were fixed right. I had to call another dealer to fix what they should have. Very defensive in their reponses, like this happens a lot. Anthony Frandanisa service advisor is the weak link, missed half of the items I gave him, even with a printed list I gave him and he hung up on me when challanged. These guys really let me down yesterday. I am disabled and it is hard to move my trailer and I hurt for days. They told me to calm down I said do your job provide customer service.

If we could give 10 stars, we would! Truly the most amazing customer service I have ever experienced. From the moment you arrive until the day you leave with a new toy, never a let down.
Whomever has designed the flow of this operation deserves major kudos. It is refreshing to see a team of people so motivated to make your buying experience (or learning experience) so exceptional. It starts from the top and goes all the way though every single employee. We were just stunned at the level of detail, commitment, fun and friendly people we encountered here.
Love everyone and am so afraid to miss a name here but we will try. EVERY last one of them made our experience AMAZING! We even rented last summer as a trial before our purchase and they met every expectation, OOOPS, no they didn’t!!! They EXCEEDED it!

BUYER BEWARE!!!
UPDATE! I still have a propane leak that Tacoma RV supposedly addressed and yet again could not duplicate (of course), which they addressed under the factory 1 year warranty period. I guess I will have to try to fix it myself. If it blows up, I guess maybe my relatives will Sue Tacoma RV. They don’t even seem to care about their customer’s safety, just whether they collect money from the manufacturer for warranty work.
I thought I might be the exception and not the rule with my horrible experience with Tacoma RV, until I began reading a number of online reviews about Tacoma RV.
I bought a brand new 2015 Passport from Tacoma RV, and had an issue with the refrigerator not working immediately. When I called Tacoma RV the first time to set an appointment to get the trailer in, they let me know it would be 2 months before they could get it in, stating they were too busy to get it in sooner. I got it into them after the 2 months, and they sent it back out, saying they could not duplicate the problem, which is understandable considering it was intermittent. I picked it back up and took it out immediately, duplicated the problem again, and called them to get it back in for service, and they told me I would have to wait another month. I waited the month, got it back to them, and then they completely forgot about me for 3 months, with my trailer sitting on their lot!!! I finally called them and asked what was going on with it, and they immediately rushed it out the door saying they could not duplicate the problem again. I took it out immediately, duplicated the problem multiple times again, and called them back. I had to wait another 2 months to get it in again, even though they had just had it for 3 months. I finally got it back in again, and again they tried to send it back to me, saying they could not duplicate the problem!!!
At this point, I told them to have the refrigerator plugged in Friday night, and leave it running until I arrived on Saturday, and prove to me it was working. I got a call a few hours after I talked to them, after telling them to do this, and all of a sudden they duplicated the problem, on Friday.
Tacoma RV finally contacted Keystone regarding the refrigerator; apparently they realized I would no longer accept the «we cannot duplicate the problem excuse.» Keystone had them replace the cooling unit in the refrigerator. They replaced the cooling unit, said they tested it and it worked fine. I took it out right away, tested it, and now the refrigerator does not work at all !!! I waited another 2 months to get it back into them, and after a couple of weeks, they called me and told me that they had just gotten authorization from Keystone to replace the cooling unit. Tacoma RV did not even know that they had replaced the cooling unit already, which was why the refrigerator did not work at all anymore. At this point, Tacoma RV finally got authorization from Keystone to replace the refrigerator. Of course, with a long wait for the refrigerator to arrive.
At this point, the camping trip I had planned for a year, and one of the main reasons I bought the trailer, came up. I had been telling Tacoma RV for months; whatever you do, just make sure it is done before this camping trip. I ended up checking my trailer out from Tacoma RV to take on the camping trip, without a working refrigerator, in 100+ degree heat. I spent a lot of time and money on ice and trying to preserve food. I then had to return the trailer to Tacoma RV, with yet again, a wait.
Tacoma RV finally replaced the refrigerator, and I just picked up the trailer today (10/​10/​2015).
I purchased the trailer from Tacoma RV on 9÷20÷2014. I have dealt with this problem with Tacoma RV for over a year now!!! I have had to cancel several camping trips due to Tacoma RV, and have had a lot of food go bad. I spoke with Ladonna, the owner, and she blames it all on Keystone.
I sure hope it is actually fixed this time.
Once the sale is complete, you don’t seem to be important to Tacoma RV anymore.

We are very happy with the sales department. We purchased a new toy hauler from them. The sales staff is friendly. I recommend anybody looking to buy browse rv’s to go and look at Tacoma RV first. They have no pressure sales and are very informative.

Just picked up our Montana High County, the guys at Tacoma RV have made our first RV purchase better than we could have hoped! My parents have also purchased two RVs from them and they are great. A+, we will be back for parts, service, and most likely future purchases!

Yesterday my new wife and I purchased a preowned 5^th wheel from TacomaRV. The entire staff there was awesome. Now I’m horrible at names so I can’t help here but I assure you everyone from the chill as hell parts guy, the very knowledgeable gentleman who did our walkthrough, the incredibly understanding and helpful finance department went completely above and beyond to assist us in EVERY facet to get us into the perfect trailer for us. We cannot wait to take this out and join the family in comfort.
TacomaRV did not sell me just a trailer, they sold me an experience. I assure you when its time to upgrade I will happily drive the 3 hours to get back there.
If you are in the market for something new, preowned or want to trade your old platform in, please do yourself a favor and stop here first. I don’t do many serious reviews but these people warrant one. I can’t speak highly enough of them!

Jeff took his time with our family and is very knowledgable! Very helpful for our research in finding a travel trailer. Highly recommend this class act establishment.

I guess I’ll lay it out for people who have never bought an RV before… Trailers, motor homes and fifth wheels are manufactured in facilities that throw them together to make the most profit possible in the cheapest way they can. Tacoma RV isn’t the manufacture, they are the sales company.
This is a volume dealership that sells in my opinion some of the nicest trailers offered in the state. My experience here was near perfection, from the time I showed up to the parking lot to the time I signed the dotted line. I was given a less then desirable trade value but the hassle of selling my rig out right was alleviated and their were no questions asked on the trade. I can appreciate the no negotiation outlook as this dealership is fair across the board, they are a take it or leave it location which in my opinion keeps the slime-​ball sales people at bay, I felt like I was being treated genuine by everyone.
I gave 4 stars because there were a few issues that I believe should have been found prior to me arriving but nobody is perfect and I had the owner personally come out and review my concerns prior to leaving. All but 2 items were taken care of before I left with my new vehicle and both are MFG warrentee items that will be resolved ASAP.
One thing that everyone I talked to at the dealership told me numerous times. «We aren’t perfect, but we do our best» What they were saying is that trailers are not made in facilities with the highest standards, they aren’t going to maintain a G/​E style level of perfection however this dealership isn’t out to screw you over either. They are doing their best to make their customers happy and I truly felt that with the almost 15 people I came into contact there with throughout my buying experience.
I wish I had had this same experience when I purchased my traded in trailer from another dealership brand new just 2 years ago. My previous experience was terrible and it is partially the reason I decided to go to Tacoma RV. Keep up the great work and Thanks for my new rig as I know they review this page.
Maybe some of you received bad customer service because you are less then desirable customers to work with…

Absolutely appalled! I don’t know how this place has 4 Stars!
In my personal opinion, I would recommend that you DO NOT buy anything from them and DO NOT get anything serviced from them. My family bought a brand new 2014 unit (Rubicon 2900) and have had nothing but problems since buying it. It has been in their shop for over 7 months during our first year of owning it. We have had it in for the same lighting issue since we bought it. It has been serviced 2 or 3 times for the hot water heater, we had a leaky faucet that took them a month to fix, our water pump leaked everywhere after they winterized the unit and we were told it was because «we dropped it off after a few freezing days in WA» (Okay, maybe our fault, but wouldn’t they know the water pump was broken regardless and saw that it leaked since they have to pump antifreeze into the pipes to winterize? HMMM) We have had issues with the fridge sealing properly, and the worst issue is there was a leak in the roof of the unit caused by «poor manufacturing» by Keystone which then caused MOLD in the trailer where my newborn sleeps.
Sure Tacoma RV said they would «wipe it down» to fix it, and after calling them out they agreed to replace the drawer where we found the initial mold, but when I requested them to do a test for hidden mold in the trailer behind the walls, they refused. I paid out of pocket to have a specialist come in and test the trailer (pending results).
The owner, LaDonna Meadows doesn’t care about you or your family. She cares purely about you signing the dotted line and taking your money. Once they have that they don’t care. Les the service manager (also LaDonna’s husband) doesn’t care either, they only want your money they will not take responsibility for anything — claiming neglect on the owners part.
Recently, the battery melted on my trailer and the service team told me it was a bad battery per Interstate Battery Company. So, I did a little digging and contacted Interstate Battery in Olympia, WA and found out from Interstate Battery that Tacoma RV NEVER even asked them to run a test on the battery to determine what the issue was. I don’t care if it was a bad battery or faulty wiring in the trailer, these people at Tacoma RV put my family in danger by lying to me and not finding what the real issue was.
While in a meeting with them both to discuss our frustration, LaDonna got up in the middle of my wife speaking, to take a personal phone call on her cell phone. I couldn’t believe it! She returned only to tell us she could not help and that she is unable to help us contact Keystone to remedy our issues either. Great to know they sell products that they have no way of helping the customer fix when outside of their control.
Sure they might respond and say they fixed the issues (took them more than once to fix half them and who knows if they were fixed properly as we just got our trailer back). I highly doubt all of the issues are fixed now and we may or may not find mold in the trailer but I’m warning you the customer service in this place is the WORST I have ever experienced especially from owners.
If you want to buy a travel trailer, RV, or Toy Hauler go somewhere else!!! Sure the sales team might be low pressure and leave all their trailers open for you to look at, but don’t be fooled; It’s after the purchase I would be worried about!!!
Not to mention, don’t rent units either! Two matching RVs from Tacoma RV parked next to us at the gorge last year with LaDonnas son and daughter dancing on the roof, kids puking out the door and kids trashing the unit with no regard whatsoever. Would hate for something to go wrong with a rented unit knowing how they let them be used by their own children!

Took a month to get repairs done on our roof. They tried to over sell us on an entirely new roof. When inspection was done there were issues with the seal which they completely redid the work but clearly did not redo the sealtech pressure test to show leaks in the rig. Water is still coming in the area where we originally had a concern. We paid over a $ 1000. We have not used the coach and now they cannot get us in to once again fix their faulty workmanship. Les the Service Manager assured us if there were any further problems with the workmanship they would get us in to fix the coach, this company does not honor their word or their work.
There is no sense of urgency now that they have collected the money for the work that they were supposed to do the first time.
Although they responded to our last review and stated the owner was now involved, requested our full contact information, there has still been NO FOLLOW THROUGH. In addition to the last comment when we were charged the original fee of $ 1000 discounts for service were NOT applied. We were asked if we would like a refund or credit on our account. When we inquired about the $ 175 credit, no one in service knew about it nor could they find notes. AGAIN I stated, poor quality workmanship, poor service, not a reputable establishment, bate and switch operation. BUYER BEWARE!

Everything with this company goes great until after they have taken your $$$ and sent you out the door!!!
My husband and I bought a brand new 2015 Keystone travel trailer (30k) and realized, as the Seattle weather became warmer, that our AC did not work. We called TacRV and they really didn’t have a whole lot to say about it. There was no «Thank you again for your business, Mr. Butler» or «We are so sorry that this has happened to you. Let’s see how we can work to get this issue fixed for you». Nope. They didn’t say anything that was remotely compassionate to their new customers. They really did not care. They told us that we would have to bring the trailer in so that they could take a look at it. Reasonable, right? Well,…not really.
My husband and I are traveling nurses. We work 12 hr night shifts in downtown Seattle and live about 20 miles north of it. So… not only do we actually LIVE in it, it’s really hard to have the ability to drag it down to Tacoma (about an hour and half trip… one way) and hope that they can diagnose it and replace/​fix the problem that day. Even though it is a «travel trailer», you still have to «pack» things up and hitch it and all of that. Not so convenient. SO… we asked if we could use a mobile RV repair service to come and look at it. Their response…“Sure but we don’t cover that”. Again, absolutely no concern on their part whatsoever. And obviously, the walk-​through that they were supposed to have completed prior to us picking it up was not done. If it had been, they would have found this problem. SO,…at this point… their «lifetime warranty» doesn’t mean a whole lot.
My main issue with them beside trying to survive in the heat (while having to sleep during the day) is that they NEVER CARED. Not one person gave a crap. Not one person called us back to check on things or offer an alternative or ANYTHING.
After you’ve spent 30k, you’d think that they’d be more willing to help us out. Apparently not. JUST GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. TRUST ME. THERE ARE PLENTY OF OTHER PLACES TO BUY FROM.
Also, look at Facebook. See all of the smiling faces as they get their picture taken with their new rig? Yep,…well.look closer. Pay attention to all of the people that are griping about the same things I am.

UPDATE: This unscrupulous place has just INCREASED the price of the rig we were quoted a price on and wanted to purchase Don’t blink because the price will change!!! They’re playing games with the intelligence of the public… laughing all the way. I’m pretty sure this is called bait and switch which is ILLEGAL. I’m sure the BBB would like to hear about them.

This place rocks! We went to 3 different dealers today and this place gets our 5 stars for sure! NO PRESSURE SALES! All the RV’S were open so we could look on our own where the other dealers the sales person had to use a key for each and every trailer and we had to sit and listen to everything about each one, in which we didn’t care to know! The sales people walked by several times here and asked if we had any questions, and that was it, they left us to look. We WILL be back to buy a RV soon!
