Me and my mother bought a brand new a 5^th wheel from here back in May and took possession of it in October because we had no place to park it and they said that was fine, and the first week we used it the Max fan went out on it the first time we turned it on and it took months to get it fixed because they couldn’t service it where we were in Kent so our first issue with our Brand new RV we were left to work out on our own, Their finance department lost paperwork and put us an a financial crunch because low and behold they tell us oh and by the way your first payment is due with no notice, And the bank BECU where its financed was given wrong information from them that we had to straighten out. Then we are told from the manager there that she would send us a gift card for our inconvenience and their shall I say incompetence and because we had to have a service guy come and do warranty work already on our brand new 2015 RV we still have not received that gift card, Then we were told by our salesman Chris who told us to contact him any time if we had any issues «but that didn’t last very long» he said to contact Gary Fisher the «District Manager“mind you! and told him we still have not received the $ 60 gift card and he said he was sorry and he would add $ 100 to it, so now we have been calling him for over 4 months with no contact back, I got a hold of him once about 3 moths ago and he said oh yeah I have that gift card on my desk I forgot to send it. Its now approaching the 5 month mark and still no $ 160 gift card. We have had many balls dropped and incompetent mistakes with these people and since their customers are so unimportant to them we are now filing multiple Better Business Bureau complaints against them. We will see if that makes them rethink the way they do business with their supposed valued customers.

I have no problem giving this place 5 stars. I purchased a 42foot 2015 toy hauler from them and every step of the process was made easy. I would like to thank Chris Theodore and Vince for great job. I would definitely by from them again.

I call my experience with Paul Evert’s RV a learning lesson. I was shopping for a Class C to replace my parents Class A since my father isn’t flexible enough to get over the hump to get to the seats. I found the Holiday Rambler Augusta 29A. It even had a recliner which is good for the elderly. I went up in June and checked it out. During this visit I did confirm it had a back-​up camera because I planned to do some traveling solo.
In August when I was ready to buy, it took multiple e-​mails to get anyone’s attention. First sign! We got the trade in and the financing worked out (through my bank) and on 8÷6÷15 I went to pick up the RV. During the walk through I again asked about the back-​up camera. «This one doesn’t have one». Sign two and that’s probably were I should’ve walked but I had the trade-​in there and the check. So I continued thinking I would add it on later.
Then I asked where the DVD player was. «The CD player in the dashboard plays DVD’s and you turn the TV to AV, but I don’t have a DVD to show you». Yep, the CD player does not read DVD’s was what I found out when I got home. Sign 3
Went to sign the paperwork (waited longer than I expected being the only customer in the building). Sign 4 the paper work on Monday to the bank said the mileage on the vehicle was 2372 but on Thursday when I picked it up it was 3717.
On the drive home I finally sat in the passengers seat. If you actually want to sit in the seat with your back against the seat your chin rests on your chest. This is not the case with the drivers sit. I figured I would adjust when I got home. The sit does not adjust so I sent a note on ⁸⁄₂₃ to the sales manager which also asked where the paperwork was for my free year at Thousand Trails that was suppose to be included. The following weekend the online sales manager called to get the date I bought the RV and when I told her I had a problem she said that if I didn’t get a call to call her back the next week.
Finally I e-​mailed the sales manager again on ⁹⁄₁ and got a reply. The reply included an application for Thousand Trails (which I returned last week and haven’t heard anything back) and the name of the person handling my seat issue. When I sent the warranty manager a second e-​mail ⁹⁄₈ I got the following reply.
I’m sorry I gave her the information and had wrongly assumed she had spoken to you about it. Unfortunately the seat is within the specifications of the manufacturer and cannot be changed. If we bend it, it will void your warranty on the seat if anything else goes wrong. I do apologize that it causes trouble, and according the images it is the same, if not very similar, to the other Holiday Ramblers that we have.
Sign 5 And since no one in my family will sit in the seat does it matter if the warranty is still valid? To be honest at this point I should’ve kept the paid for Class A because my Dad is still going to be sitting on the couch when I take off which was the whole point of going to a new Class C.
Sign 6 — 10 days after I bought this one, the one in Fife (I bought my in Mt Vernon) price dropped below this one and included the back-​up camera. Too bad vehicle’s don’t carry price guarantees like other merchandise.
The signs were there to rethink the purchase with Paul Evert’s and since I haven’t taken the Augusta out of the driveway yet I am hoping that these are the extent of the issues because I surely don’t want to go back to Paul Evert’s.
PS I won’t be using Paul Evert’s for any additional services on this vehicle beyond warranty at this point.
09÷16÷15 Update — Never heard back about the specifications of my seat but was contacted by Allied Recreation Group that I should contact Ford which I guess falls under my responsibility because when I contacted Paul Evert’s they still declined to bend the seat (which I never have thought was the solution) and don’t have a relation with Ford.
On 9÷13÷15, I contacted my sales person to find out how the membership to Thousand Trails was going and when I should expect my license plate since the temporary expires in four days. As of today no response.
09÷25÷15 Update — Temporary license plate expired and still no Thousand Trails Membership.
Left message at Mt Vernon location on ⁹⁄₂₀ where I purchased the Motorhome since the person I had worked with never responded. Since I never heard back I called on Tuesday and they gave me a number to call Nancy at the California office where the licensing is handled. Yes, that’s right I need to call one more person to find out where my license plate is. Left a message haven’t heard a word. The Mt Vernon location did say to call them back if I couldn’t get my license. I guess that is what I will do on Monday. Never heard back about the Thousand Trail membership so I called them and they let me sign up and are billing Paul Evert’s. Yep, the information I originally sent my sales person never made it to them (within 3 weeks).

Visited today to look at RV the had online. Lot fairly empty, but saw a couple being helped by someone. We got out to find the rv. My husband is using a cane. We walked around the ENTIRE lot and didn’t find the rv. Decided to go in and ask. Turns out there was a second person available. Never bothered to come see if they could help. Found out there was an RV show somewhere else and rv we were interested in had been sold previous day. Now, after reading reviews, i understand. Customer service is not their priority. I would not go back, as they showed no interest in us. A good salesman would have asked if they could show us something else. This one said, it was sold yesterday to a couple from Vanciuver BC. Have a nice day.

Three weeks ago my lady and I went in to buy a Class A motorhome. She signed some papers to get the financing on the move.
Today we went by because five of our phone calls since our first visit went unreturned. The motorhome was taken to an RV Expo at the Tacoma Dome.

Ended up at PE after shopping several other RV places.
The purchase was one month prior to an extensive vacation, and we were going to take the RV.
First impressions good. Sales staff friendly, accommodating, as sales should be. Eager to take a deposit and sign a purchase order. Some service and repair items were noted, and sales promised that everything would be taken care of so our RV would be ready in time for our vacation. Keep that in mind… four week until vacation day.
Second impressions. This is where things get a little «murky». Prior to the vacation, I wanted the fluids changed. PE said they don’t do that service, so that would be my responsibility to have that taken care of at an outside company, like Jiffy Lube. (yeah, right, like I’m going to wheel a 35 ft motorhome into Jiffy Lube…). Now, I’ve got an additional burden to fit in between the time I take delivery, and go on vacation.
Week one – I leave the process on auto-​pilot, expecting incremental updates on the repair and service progress. Wrong expectation.
Week two – I start making follow up phone calls, finally get a return call at end of week, but no solid info on the repair part. «It’s on order…»
I go down and take delivery of the motorhome, because now I only have two weekends remaining to get the fluids changed. Can’t do it in the middle of the week without taking time off work, so it’s got to be done on the weekends.
Week three – making follow up phone calls to PE, to see where the repair part is. «It’s on order»…I personally have managed orders for parts, and had them shipped from east coast to Kodiak Island in one day. So, to be told for over two weeks that the part «is on order» is now making me nervous. I’m not sure if the part is truly on backorder, or if it didn’t get ordered it in a timely manner…
Week four – press the issue… am told the part ended up at another PE site, but is being brought over that very day. I advise them I am bringing the motorhome in now. When I show up, the service manager seems somewhat puzzled. This is now four days until time to go on vacation. I advise him of that fact, and get the «We’ll get on it» response, coupled with «It’s pretty busy here»…that’s service speak for maybe it will get done, maybe it won’t.
Follow up next day… the part has not arrived, but it should arrive that night. Three days left.
Follow up next day… don’t get a warm fuzzy feeling from the phone call. Spouse goes down and has a CTJ meeting with the managers. Two days left.
Follow up next day… job done with one day to go before vacation.
From an outside perspective, it seems like there was a disconnect between front office and service. Is it chronic? Or, was I the one that fell through the cracks? Will never know.
If I were buying there today, and there was a «fix it» list, I would have a meeting with the service manager prior to signing the PO, to ensure expectations on both sides were realistic.
In the final analysis, however, PE kept their promise. That’s important to note. They replaced the bad part, and my family departed for vacation on time.
In addition, the general manager provided some «extras» in consideration for my troubles.
Keeping promise? A
Coming through in the clutch? A+ (America loves a good clutch play)
Communications? D
Overall customer service? C
I’m rating them a cautious A-​OK.
If their communications game was kicked up a couple notches, I would have rated them higher.
Suggestion, Paul Evert – For every RV you have in for service, call the customer every three days with an update.
I can hear it now…“That’s a lot of work”…not really. It’s an investment in creating a network of satisfied customers who will speak on your behalf.
If you mapped out the process flows of your organization, applied some LEAN techniques, eliminated some waste and streamlined some ops, it could be done. I could see the waste while I was standing in the showroom. Several people,(assuming sales), lounging around, drinking coffee, looking bored as shit.
Hold a staff meeting every morning. Service manager provide status updates to the GM & sales staff of all RV’s in for repairs. Sales staff make calls during their downtime, providing updates to the customers. This gives sales the opportunity to ward off conflicts, advise service if a particular situation has changed. It will deepen the relationship between sales and customer, and provide a conduit for sales to ask for referrals and other business.
This effort will be be rewarded ten-​fold. I’ve set up similar structures, and it works.
Excellent customer service starts at top. If the owner cares, the general managers will care, and the service managers will care. Or, fire them and find someone who will care.
Customer service really isn’t that hard.

I put 1 star ONLY because there’s no option for zero stars! This is the WORST company I have ever dealt with in my life! The general manager, Jim and salesman we dealt with was Chris. We found a trailer that we wanted to buy on a Saturday. We already had financing through our own bank, but couldn’t get the check to them until Monday. We had a trailer we were trading in on it as well. They kept pushing for us to go through their financing. We live an hour an a half from the dealership and they kept coming up with excuses for us to come in just to mess with us. Chris had said that another salesman had written up a deal for «our» trailer, but he had stopped it because we already had a deal, which we did. They manager had signed off on our offer. So, they wanted us to bring in a check on Sunday for $ 500 to «take it off the market» or we could finance with them. All blackmail. But we liked the trailer so much, we did it. We arrived there first thing at start of business Sunday morning. The manager wrote a purchase order for us to take to our bank monday, which we did so we could bring them the check Monday afternoon. When we were at the bank, the loan manager couldn’t find the model number in the system for the trailer. That’s because it was a fake number!!! Come to find out they sold the trailer right out from under us! The manager sold it to the people that came in AFTER us because they financed through them! But they still gave us a purchase order, even though he lied on it, just in case the other financing didn’t go through. I have never dealt with a company this crooked and ruthless! ! These people do NOT deserve anyone’s business. There is enough rvs out there. Oh, and to top it off, when we called Chris up and confronted him about the whole scam, he threatened to drive over my husband’s phone with a fork lift (unfortunately it fell out of his pocket in the trailer)

Them in the Mt. Vernon WA office and had a list of corrections to be made they said it would be ready soon. Took over a month when I picked the trailer the work that had been fixed on it was totally amateur. I had to make the first payment before they was finished and ready release the trailer to me. Then had to argue about getting a temp tag to pull it home. After getting it home I realized the tanks had not been emptied and the carpet had not been shampooed. They wouldn’t take a earnest payment then fix the items. Because I think they never planned on fixing them. Buyer be very wary of doing business with these dealers. I think they plan to get your money then flake out. When called to the carpet they will say use your warranty that’s what it’s for. One more thing in passing they didn’t want to sell it at Internet price so be very careful.

The entire team at Paul Evert’s Fife was nice to deal with and gave me prompt and to the point service. They made fair negotiations for our budget and did not beat around the bush. Financing was beyond easy and the product was clean and ready for pick up and our continued interaction with them has been positive. Like any RV I expect small issues to arise in the future and I feel confident that the staff will continue to treat me with respect and assist me with my long term purchase. Thumbs up from me and my wife!

We purchased a brand new Heartland 32′ fifth wheel here in May. The only thing that we were satisfied with was the salesman, Chris. We noted several things wrong with the unit and the service manager, Jeff, agreed to have it fixed. Jeff explained they had a change of management recently and prior to that had led to bad reviews. We obviously believed him. Big mistake. One of the items to be fixed was our shower doors. Jeff said he fixed this himself. Without being able to turn the shower on, we weren’t able to tell that it leaked. Alot! After it was delivered, by Chris and his wife who did a great job delivering it, we quickly discovered the leaking shower as well as when we went to fill the fresh water tank it flooded the underbelly. Completely saturating everything we had stored under there. This is a brand new unit!!! Come on!
My husband called and spoke with Jeff and explained the defects. Jeff said he would find someone to come to our remote site to fix the issues. We explained we’d bought the unit to be stationary and do not have a vehicle to tow it as it is on our own land. After multiple calls with Jeff, I told my husband we’d better email him so we’d have something it writing. At first Jeff ignored all emails, then on day 29 (the dealer is only responsible for the first 30 days) he emailed me back and denied he’d ever offered to send someone out. Rude and a liar. I’d cc’d the supervisor as well as the owner of the company on the email, neither responded to my email or to Jeff’s lame and unethical handling of the issue. We paid $ 46,000 for a unit we can’t even shower in and have to have the unit assessed for water damage due to the underbelly flooding. Not to mention our items that got water damage. This dealer, from the service manager to the owner, give dealers a bad name. Steer clear, there are lots of dealers out there and this shouldn’t be one of them.

We bought the riverside rv retro 181 bunkhouse from Paul evert rv. My wife was sold because if the cute retro look and the bunk beds for our 2 girls. Unfortunately Our table broke the first night we used it and now going on 3 weeks for a replacement so we are more than a little disappointed that we have only been able to use our camper 1 night after spending so much money.

We made arrangements to have our new Grand Design 5^th wheel worked on at Paul Everts RV Country in Fife. The work needing to be done required factory approval so we needed to schedule the appointment out a month to get the needed approval and parts in from the factory. Over that time I called and emailed several times trying to find out how long it would take to do the repairs but got no response… Then finally the day before we took the RV to Paul Evert I got a hold of someone and they said it would take 4 to 5 weeks to get the factory approval and the needed materials and then the work would take two weeks! I told them that we had already received the approval and contacted Grand Design directly to show confirmation. They said that they would also followup, but it would still take 2 – 3 weeks to get the material and then time to install… I wish I had read the other reviews on Paul Evert RV Country before I had wasted all this time on them. If you are looking at having your RV worked on there are many better places than Paul Evert.

We recently purchased a new RV from Paul Evert RV. The company was very communicative… until the purchase paperwork was finalized. Turns out, work was needed on the RV as it appears it had been driven around to shows and had some cracked tiles. Additionally, there were other, mostly cosmetic, issues that needed to be resolved once we moved into the motorhome. After many ignored calls, we were told to bring the motorhome in. We lodged in a hotel while the work was being done. At the end of the week that we were told it would take to do the work, we called and found the work had not been started ($$$ hotel). After several irate calls, one in which were were told several lies and excuses as to why the work had not been done, we said we would come by first thing Monday to take the motorhome back. That prompted the general manager to call us and within a day, only minor work we requested was complete. In the meantime, we had made arrangements to have the coach worked on in Oregon at the Monaco Factory Service Center to have the rest of the work completed. We did read other posts after we purchased the coach that Paul Evert had poor customer service and followup. Believe it; it’s true.
