Lasco Ford

Purchased a 2013 Ford Fiesta from Lasco in October 2012, we were extremely overcharged. We were young and naïve and they took advantage of the situation. Three years later, this vehicle has been serviced NINE times for issues related to the transmission recalls and other erroneous mistakes Lasco has made while having the vehicle fixed. Last time we took it in there, a new software was uploaded into the system (to «fix» the transmission shudder, etc.) and we left with more problems than we had to begin with! They had completed a recall software update for the transmission that they were WELL AWARE caused additional problems, AND FAILED TO TEST DRIVE THE VEHICLE TO MAKE SURE IT WAS OKAY PRIOR TO GIVING IT BACK TO US. I left very many messages for the Service Department manager the following day, never received a return phone call. Prior to bringing the vehicle back to have a NEW problem fixed, I left two negative reviews online. Upon making arrangements to bring it back AGAIN to have it looked at, the Service Manager «returned» my call (he had a Service Representative contact me back, he wouldn’t call me himself because he was «too busy») stating that they would be happy to go above and beyond for me AS LONG AS I TOOK MY ONLINE REVIEW DOWN. I wish I was joking about this. The level of unprofessionalism is beyond words, to say I regret buying a vehicle from them is a severe understatement.

Great job getting me into the vehicle I needed. Blake was super helpful in getting me a great price, and researching every rebate and discount I could get.
Possibly the best dealer sales experience I have ever had.

Bought a car from this dealership and regret it still. Only a few months old and already has problems. Warranty is useless/​Reputable is not a term I would use for Lasco Ford

Purchased my second used car from Lasco Ford. The second purchase was as comfortable as my first purchase. Although it took a little more time than I had hoped to complete all of the paperwork so I could get out the door, everything else with the transaction was excellent. I met the Used car Sales Manager, met with the Service Manager and also the Finance Manager. We also got to ring the bell for our auto purchase — something that happened 4 times the day I purchased the car and another 3 times the next day when I picked my car up. That means the place was busy selling cars!!!

I’m here to get my used car, seems up to snuff. The mechanic we took it to for inspection said t’was fine, just that the wheel speed sensors may eventually need to be replaced. That’s all Greek to me, we’ll just take the matrix home and I’ll have a four wheel drive car, just in time!

I just purchased a certified used lincoln at Lasco Ford. I had done alot of research as far as pricing and options and they had one that was loaded with all the goodies at a price cheaper than even the lincoln stores. what prompted me to make this review was after recieving a thank you card and an email letting me know if i had any questions or concers to contact them and that they appreciate my business. I definitley will make Laso Ford my first choice to buy my next car!

Okay, so I purchased my car here. 1 star you say? Why did you purchase from them? Well, the first call I had with them and my first visit went okay. First impressions were that this place was certainly better than my experience at another Ford dealer I had went to. Better in the sense that they seemed friendly and willing to help. Did I deal with a ‘salesman’ type personality? Yup, but he made it work as he did answer all of my questions efficiently and spent time with me. My experience buying the car was actually okay. The problem lies after the purchase.
So, I drove my new car home and I lived roughly an 1.5 hours away from this dealer. I went to this dealer because they were the ONLY dealership that had the 2012 Model Escape left on the lot. I called EVERYWHERE and this place had 1 left. All other Ford dealers had the new 2013 Model available and frankly, I think the 2013 Model looks like an insect (my opinion, anyway). I wanted the 2012 SUV look and Lasco had 1 in stock. I arrived home and was happy. Of course I was; I was driving a new car. I wasn’t crazy about my lease terms but trusted it was the best the sales guy could do. So, I accepted. The next day, my sales guy called to inform me that the paperwork was screwed up and that I needed to come back. Mind you, I live over an hour away. I wasn’t happy about driving all the way back (after all, it’s a lease; I’m watching my mileage). He said I could come back in a few days if Saturday would work best, since this call took place midweek. He assured me they would deduct the miles from my lease agreement. He also told me that my lease terms were changing for the better. Changing for the better? Well alrighty then; I’ll come back.
I went back Saturday to meet my salesman. He was no where to be found. After waiting over 45 minutes someone else finally told me that my sales guy wasn’t there. I made this person aware that I had an appointment to rewrite my paperwork. He sat me at my original sales guys desk and said he would get someone else to help me. I waited and waited and waited. About an hour goes by and still no help. People kept walking by letting me know someone was coming but still, it shouldn’t have taken so long. While I was waiting, I noticed my paperwork sitting face up on my sales guys desk. All of my personal/​financial info was just sitting there for all to look at. This irritated me. Why wasn’t my info somewhere secure? After all, they have an open layout sales office where strangers walk in/​out of the place freely. Leaving my info out in the open is not safe and 100% unacceptable to me!!!
I am starting to get more and more pissed at this point when finally someone comes to do a rewrite for me. When this person sat down he apologized for my wait and informed me my sales guy had been fired. How unprofessional!!! Telling me someone was fired doesn’t make me feel good about my purchase. This person then proceeds to tell me that my whole lease agreement needs rewriting as everything was incorrect. On a good note, my monthly payment went down almost $ 50 and my 3 year lease got bumped to a 2 year lease. However, this new guy kept saying that this was a ‘no money’ down deal. After he said this 3 times, I asked what he meant. He said he was referring to their incentive program which I took advantage of so I didn’t have to put any cash down. Ummmm, excuse me??? I did put cash down!!! I demanded to talk to someone in finance.
They made me wait another friggin half hour just to briefly see a finance person. They had my name wrong on my receipts and there was no indication of money down within my paperwork. Thankfully, I had a slip my original sales guy gave me and bank records. I had to prove to them I had put cash down. Total BS!!! Anyhow, I left that day and was’t happy. Note: they didn’t deduct my miles travelled. Ugh!
So, a new person started calling me stating they needed my title to my old vehicle. I had already went over this with my original sales guy so why were they asking me to drive back AGAIN to go over my title? I refused. Especially when they asked me to pay a lost title fee. I don’t think so, dude. Another, Ugh!
The recap to this long winded story… They do not know what they are doing. After you make a purchase/​lease, they are rude and incompetent. This is one of the most disorganized places I have EVER dealt with. Oh, and they also short paid my payoff quote by $ 60.00. Real classy.
One final kicker… A month after I got my lease, I get a letter in the mail from Lasco stating that they noticed my lease was almost up and am available for an early trade-​in. Ha!!! I just got my car. What a joke!!! As if I would go near that dealership for another car. I will not go back there and possibly avoid Ford altogether in the future. It’s a shame… I am fairly young, they had the potential to win a repeat customer for many years to come.
Simply bad business!
