Friend and I were in Saturday evening we sat at the bar, it was quite busy. We had a few beers, and decided to try some food as well, easier said than done; see I have major food allergies but the Vegan Paella(spelling sorry) was allergy free for me, and it was DELISH. The bartender Matt made certain to check to make sure it was allergy free for me even going as far as asking a server Carl(I think) to ensure he was correct in his thought that it would be ok for me. I appreciate the extra mile of someone making sure I can eat something, not to mention he was very busy between his tables, his bar, and the servers drinks he needed to make. I will definitely be back! Thanks Matt!

The food was ok but WAY over priced for what we got. Went for the Valentine special: $ 69/person for a limited menu with small salad, entrée with 1 side and dessert. They were not prepared to seat so many at one time so there was a wait by the freezing door. Service was also slow — waiter messed up my side selection and i had to remind him to replace it… Didn’t get it until i was finished with my steak. Steak was undercooked but good piece of meat. Everything else was just average and not worth the price. Other restaurants offered more for less that night. I’ll be sure to try one of those next time.

Really great pork chops and sweet potato. The starter bread was not very good and the prices are too high, but besides that we had a great time. Nice environment, good service.

I wanted so badly to give them five stars. The food was off the charts delicious. I had the eggplant rollatine and my husband had the ribeye au poivre, and both were outstanding, as were the desserts – the cheesecake is basically heaven. However, our service was less than lackluster. It appeared to be our waiter John specifically. He admitted as soon as we sat down that he was hungover, and then proved it. My second glass of wine was the wrong wine. He checked of the food was cooked correctly and we then didn’t see him again until after we had been sitting with empty plates for a good 10 – 15 minutes. Once we got dessert, we waited another 20 minutes after completing dessert for our check. It wasn’t until my husband got up and asked a different waiter for our check that we finally got it. We shouldn’t have to seek our our waiter out to pay him. Please, come and try their food and drink. It is absolutely amazing. Just be mindful of who you have as a waiter.

This is my second time at this place. I did not give it a review the first time so I thought I would share this experience with you: Well we’re off to a bad start, the hostess must be having a bad day. After I refused a seat at the bar there was a noticeable change in her disposition as if to say«how dare you refuse my suggestion.» Or it was a convenance for me to sit there as opposed to a regular table. So I hope she feels better… I waited about 3 to 4 minutes for my waiter to arrive. I was a bit set back by this being the establishment was relatively slow. As usual I shift all responsibility to order my meal to the waiter. I never hold them accountable for a disappointing meal. I am actually seeing how well they communicate and besides usually they know what is good and what to stay away from. Besides I like surprises as long as they are pleasant to the pallet. I ordered the calamari and though I found it lacking it was the wasabi sauce that made the appetizer very enjoyable. When you look at the bottom of the plate you would think it was filled with grease but you would be mistaken. It is a sweet sauce which compliments the very mild heat from the wasabi sauce. They should bottle that sauce, I would buy it. Oh I forgot to mention I chose the darkest stout they had and though it is not a Trappist, it was palatable. One of the things the waiter brought me was a wedge salad. Nothing spectacular at all about it with the exception of the few pieces of bacon bits. I know what your thinking and no I am not taking about fake bacon bits you can buy from the grocery store but instead I’m talking about real thick bacon cooked in an oven. Hell I don’t know why I was so surprised, I mean this is a damn chop house. Lol all jokes aside these guys may not know what makes the world go round but they definitely know about CHOPS! The portions are more than adequate for even the manly of men. The Morgan’s signature double prime chip with Mac and cheese was the waiters choice for my meal and he was spot on. The chops were splendid in size, cut, texture and flavor. Unfortunately despite the mountain set before me the Mac and cheese did not make my favorites list. I guess I expected a wowing cornucopia of collaborating flavors but was greeted with regular country style Mac and cheese. There is nothing wrong with country Mac and cheese but I could go to golden coral for that. After having lobster Mac and cheese from STK in Atlanta I guess I just need to manage my expectations by lowering them. Ok now let’s talk about the service. Other than my brief encounter with the hostess the service was good. I do have high expectations but even with those I can say I enjoyed the service. Not to much face time to become annoying and not so absent to feel abandoned… perfect. Though the waiter has been employed for a short time, I would suggest just a bit more product knowledge so when the next food snob he serves he will be better equipped to answer the obscure questions. Pros: huge portions Flavorful food Ambiance Food selection(kangaroo) Cons: Employees may benefit from additional training in customer service.

Atmosphere is nice and the service is good. But the shrimp Alfredo I had was odd. The shrimp was served on top and they were seasoned nicely. But the Alfredo itself was bland. Wife had the filet and that was decent. But over all I was not impressed.

Went here for special occasions as «finer» dining options in town are pretty sparse. Nice environment. Great service everything we’ve gone. Love that the menu is a bit diverse. Tried the kangaroo, pretty good. Had duck several years ago. Great. All apps we’ve tried have been delicious, but smaller portions. Love the place. Price isn’t bad for the quality and service.

I have been here multiple times over the last few years. It is a great little restaurant, although the food is a little pricey but the steaks are always amazing. On my last trip though, the risotto was more like white rice someone spilled milk in. It was a huge disappointment. It’s hard to have a bad time when you sit at the table under the exquisite lobster painting in the back corner, but choking down milky rice after the waiter spills half of my beer on the floor is not what I had in mind.

Ambiance is very nice and clean. My wife ordered the chicken pasta with meatballs. The meal didn’t taste good at all. The presentation was horrible, the meal could have served 3 people. I ordered a 30 day aged 18 oz steak medium rare. Flavor was very good nice crust. price for the meals didn’t match the quality of food that was presented.

Great Place for a classy dinner.. Nice atmosphere and delicious food. I had the Ribeye and it was amazing. The waiter recommended the Mac and cheese for a side order. It was equally amazing. You must order it. They do give you a very large portion of the Mac and Cheese so you may want to share it. We shared the Tuna appetizer and the mussels which were also a great start to a great dinner. I will definitely be back. This is a great spot for Fayetteville.

A whole lot of hype for very little return. First of all, fix your lopsided slanted table, Is this supposed to be a 4 star restaurant?!? Otherwise, the food was great and priced accordingly. Our waiter was great, and he recommended an excellent wine. The steak was among the best I’ve ever had, so I would go back… maybe. The ambience should be so so much better though. It felt like I was in a Fayetteville restaurant.

My husband took me here on our 2 year anniversary. When we arrived they had fresh rose petals spread out at our table. I ordered the special which included a steak, fried shrimp, mozzarella sticks and garlic mashed potatoes. My husband had the salmon. I must admit my steak was the very BEST tasting steak I have ever had and I’ve ate plenty of different steak before. This was my first time eating at Morgan’s and I learned really quickly that asking for steak sauce is just a slap in the face to the chef. Lol the steak was tremendous. Can’t wait to visit again.

Decided to enjoy Valentine’s dinner here last night… they had said there were no more reservations available even though the restaurant looked half empty… we decided to dine in the bar area… great atmosphere and live music however the $ 70 per person set menu was a joke, both of our entrées came out at room temperature if that, my steak was undercooked, and her grilled salmon and shrimp were cold… the service was ok but huge disappointment on a special night for one of the nicest restaurants in town. *One star for decent BEER selection

Well honestly it was a pretty good experience with friendly service and a quick turns with my esteemed business colleagues– some more the others. The food was was really well presented well; but some of the entrees were just above average. Great atmosphere — I’ll be back!!!

I’ll try to make this brief, unlike our dining experience. Just to qualify the rest of the review, I understand that if you want a quality meal, you have to be prepared to wait for a meal that wasn’t microwaved. However, after waiting 15 – 20 minutes for our first drink order to be filled, I started to notice a theme. After getting our first drink, I had about a quarter of the drink down and was asked if I wanted another. That was the last time we were asked if we wanted another drink before it got ridiculous. We waited far too long for our entrees to be delivered, our inattentive waiter dropping by occasionally to reassure us, «It’ll be out in a minute, I swear.» The time estimate in his solemn oath was inaccurate to say the least. We waited over an hour for our entrees. The waiter apologized, and instead of letting them off the hook to carry on with the night, I politely expressed my dissatisfaction and was offered a drink on the house.(I declined the offer). We were also offered free dessert.(Also declined). The food is priced in such a way that knockout service should be expected. I shouldn’t feel like I’m being held hostage for an evening, waiting for an overpriced piece of meat. We ate quickly, asked for boxes, tipped the guy well and headed out the door and will never go back there. If you want to feel neglected in a bland atmosphere and pay a premium for your food, Morgan’s is the place.

We both had pork chops with red potatoes and a salad. The cucumber water was nice. We ordered the crème brûlée and were unsatisfied. It was either old our not made properly. We’ve had our share of this dessert at other restaurants. They did remove it from our bill. Our only other complaint is that we were near the front door. Each time it opened, we felt the cold air outside. Brr.

This place is fantastic. Nice atmostphere and delicious food. I had the lamb shank. It comes with a side of potatoes which is more than enough food so there was no need to get a side of risotto, which I did and regretted it because it was way too much food. Especially after the calamari. My Wingman had the 20 ounce steak and he finished it, the potatoes, the salad, and the rest of the calamari so I think he liked it. I will definitely be back. This is a great spot for Fayetteville.

I’m torn between giving this place three and four stars. My meal was amazing; my husband wasn’t thrilled with his. Our server wasn’t great, but the support staff(hostess, the guy filling up water glasses) were incredible. I ordered the filet oscar. It arrived cooked perfect(rare medium rare) covered on chunks of crab with red potatoes on the side. The potatoes weren’t cooked any special way, they were just boiled, but still tasty. The crab tasted canned, but a high quality can. I really enjoyed my steak but the amount of salt was a bit too much for my liking. The steak was tender, and really was a beautiful cut of meat. My husband got the Kansas City strip with asparagus, and while the steak was of high quality, the amount of salt on it killed the natural flavor. The asparagus was fine. Our server came by minimally and we were sitting at our table for a very long time before he popped by initially. I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt at first, but after watching his service at another table, my husband and I came to the conclusion that he didn’t come by because we didn’t order alcoholic drinks. Our meal took over 2 hours, and the place was not full in the slightest. Gabe, the guy that comes around and fills water glasses and boxes leftovers, was super friendly, and really great at his job. His attentiveness to us saved the dinner in my opinion. As a steakhouse, Morgan’s is lacking something. If you are going to charge me $ 40 for a steak, please do not over season it. The fact of the matter is that Morgan’s uses high enough quality steak to not obliterate the taste with salt. I see by other reviews that this has been a problem for awhile. Until this problem is rectified, I don’t see myself coming here again.

I’ve heard mixed reviews… So I have been putting off trying out the place. Wasn’t sure if they had a dress code so called on the way there… Was told there wasn’t a dress code per se but they preferred business casual. Although we were minutes away, they made me place a reservation. Good thing we did, since the place was deserted at 630pm on a friday evening. Appetizer: Brie … Pretty good… The berry compote or preserve was too much, and it seemed like they deep fried the pita wedges, but it’s Brie. You can’t mess it up. The price is similar to the Brie plate at blue moon café, but slightly larger portions. Steak: I got the steak Oscar, medium rare. Steak was good but nothing to rave about. I’m used to having a crab cake with a bernaise on top, but it seemed like it was crab out of a can that was heated on a flat top grill… Highly over salted. Didn’t add much to the dish… Sides: just got the buttered red potatoes, and it was buttered! It left a slick Vaseline type feel on my lips. No need to re gloss I suppose. I was also slightly insulted that the waiter, while giving the daily special, thought she needed to explain to me what haricot vert was… Please don’t assume…(Miff). Husband got the rib eye, a little too grisly, was hoping for better marbling. He got a fully loaded baked potato but the assault on cheddar cheese left my Irish husband to abandon his potato! Salad: there are three choices… I definitely recommend the fire roasted romain salad, can’t go wrong with blue cheese and bacon! I on the other hand got the spinach salad with what seemed like sickly sweet canned apples and one slice of cheddar cheese… The dressing seemed like watered down mayo with no flavor. I’d say the salads need a little more imagination, but edible. No room for dessert, however it should be noted that the hostess and a waiter felt like it was professional behavior to have an argument within the hearing of patrons(uh, the two in my party). People may think it is over priced for fayetteville, but I’m used to the steak prices being only for the steak. Your steak comes with a full dinner salad and a side. You won’t leave hungry. It was ok… Nothing to be snooty about, just another average eatery in fayetteville… And what’s up with no bread service?
