So we walk in and it seemed to be a hassle for the hostess to seat us even though it really wasn’t busy. Then when our server comes to our table it was obvious he had no desire to be there. I understand, it was 9:00. But, I asked when the half price appatizers started and he had no clue. He went to ask, came back with my drink, not my fiancé’s and still didn’t know… after 5 minutes he came back and took our orders. I got a salad and a burger with with sweet potato fries, my fiancé ordered steak medium rare. The salad was great, but he gave me a burger with nothing on it, even though it’s supposed to come with lettuce, onion and pickles. And my fries were cold. My fiancé’s stake was completely rare. So I waited another 10 mins for the toppings for my burger and fresh fries. Once everything was fixed, it was good, but definitely not work $ 50!

Well instead of sitting at the bar I sat at a table. Not once has my server come to ask if everything was ok, ask if we needed refills, or dessert. Hence… not leaving here a happy customer. I rather stick to sittong at the bar with capable bartenders who knkw the meanong of customer service.

Went here with my wife and we both were definitely not pleased. The waitress was horrible. We couldn’t order without her cutting us off. She also had a horrible attitude. The food didn’t look fresh, and didn’t taste fresh as well. Will never go here again.

Service was great, but the food was definitely not up to par. I ordered the chicken penne and it was alright but the breadstick that came with it was basically like biting into a warm oily sponge. My husband’s steak and potatoes were good, but they over cooked his steak. The green bean crispers we ordered were absolutely horrible! They tasted old and soggy and then it seemed like they tried to deep fry them longer to make them crispy so they got burnt. My husband ordered BBQ wings for his appetizer and they came out with 4 wings for $ 11.99, which we thought was extremely over priced, but they were absolutely delicious.

Ordered a steak for take out and they put it in a card board box with nothing lining it and the bottom ripped out. Seriously get it together!

Sooo, individuals who are chosen to greet your customers as the«Host», should at least have a smile. The first impression of your establishment should not be nasty, attitude, like they r being bothered. Get better Host to represent your company!

My previous review was for the Ramsey location. I’m not a fan of prepackaged pub food. However, I was VERY surprised with this Applebee’s on Skibo. The spinach in the dip was fresh and if it wasn’t, they fooled me. The food was definitely worth the money. I would go back.

RUDE staff. Food was cold when it got to table. Hated it here. Will always go to the one on Raeford Rd next to Gillis Hill Walmart.

The low score is for the service only. I had the bacon cheeseburger and it was super good. Couldn’t complain about it if I tried. The server I had was slow and never really attentive and I don’t really care for all the«huns» and«sweeties», that drives me crazy.

I would rather dine in at mcdonalds or Kmart little ceasers a little further down the street. Food is HORRIBLE. Service is mediocre(I wasn’t expecting 5 star service it is Applebee’s) but when the waitress can’t get your soft drink order right there is a problem. DONOT waste your time or money on this place. If you do, don’t say I didn’t tell you so

A typical Applebee’s. A busy/family area. First time I went on Christmas Eve and the service was horrible. They complained about having to work that night but who couldn’t blame them? The bartender was on her phone the whole time and all the waitresses gathered around to chat and took us awhile to get her attention for the check so we could leave. The food was very good though. I order the Tequila Chicken Tango(I believe that’s what is was called) and I loved it! The chicken was cooked very well topped with a delicious creamy glaze sauce and a good portion of shrimp with a side of rice. My Husband ordered the 6oz sirloin which is his top choice. We both loved the food but hated the service so the second time we did the to-go service which was very quick and nice and able to enjoy the food in the comfort of our home.

As much as I like all different kinds of music, I find it a little disturbing to listen to hardcore rap & hip hop while savoring my riblet basket. JC! Thought this was a family restaurant.

Applebee’s has the advantage of being cheap, fast, and friendly. They have so much potential, because let’s face it, people don’t go to Applebee’s expecting fine cuisine. They want to have a nice lunch or dinner with their family, then head home. This entire process is messed up when you get slow, lazy, and rude service. Skibo Applebee’s 1⁄10. Won’t come back.

The service is alright but the food sucks. Everything was over cooked and dry. I’ve been here three times and to other Applebee’s many times in different states and this one sucked, by far, the MOST.

It’s applebee’s, and just like it is all the same nation wide, this one always stays clean and nicely organised and there is never much of a wait. The staff is freindly and always willing to help(which is a major plus in this city as most servers would rather tell you off then fix your order). the food is ok… but it chain so i would expect nothing less. The reason i went here was to try thier ribs, i sadly did not have actual ribs(because they were out) so instead i tried baby back ribs for the first time… honestly i have never had anything more messy and puzzle like than these delicious little things which i would really rather not know where they come from on a pig. but i will tell you what… they are really good and fun to eat(i looked like my 4 year old son after eating them their was sauce everywhere… definitly first date food lol) so that mixed with nice and helpful wait staff and clean bathrooms gives this applebee’s three stars… for a chain restaurant to get any more will take something truely amazing

Went here one lazy Saturday night. It was pretty busy(7pm-ish). I ordered the fajitas(chicken and shrimp) and a drink. When I got my drink, it wasn’t filled all the way. When I got my fajitas, initially I was impressed because of the sizzling plate(lol). However, the chef seemed to have some confusion between gumbo and fajitas. It was spicy, too much red pepper. Waaaaay too much red pepper and I swear it tasted more like gumbo than any fajita I have ever tasted. They pimped me on the chicken. Now, take a boneless chicken breast and cut only a quarter of it into slices, that was what I was served. A quarter of a small boneless chicken breast, sliced, and spread out(to make it look larger) over a heaping amount of onions and some red bell peppers. I was given approximately 6 – 8 small shrimp that was overcooked. Shrimp is overcooked when the texture is tough. I was starving and I couldn’t finish it because it was just too spicy and I am definitely not over-exaggerating. I found it hilarious that they gave me so many tortillas for such a small amount of meat. The tortillas were not good, either. I am positive they were microwaved, the tortillas were stuck together so badly that they would tear from the sticking when I would separate them. There was a kids mac & cheese on the menu that said you had a choice of sides, one of them being broccoli. However, when you order it, the waiter/waitress will tell you VERBALLY that the broccoli is not part of the meal and you have to pay extra for it. Oh, and did I mention that their plates are crowned? That means that the center of the plate is domed. They do this so that when you get your food, it LOOKS like you have more than there really is. It is amazing the lengths they have gone to save a buck, but they don’t realize they will lose repeat customers with this type of business practice. I would not recommend eating here and I will not return.
