The Wise Organizer is especially equipped to help with downsizing by helping seniors through the seemingly unending decisions required when deciding what to keep, what to gift, what to donate, and what actually has no further value in this day and age. Confidentiality, patience, and understanding are assured!

History

Established in 2014.

After a career in the property management industry, I chose to follow my passion, which is helping people. A lot of emotion gets stirred up during the task of getting a home to the point where the client is comfortable, and I knew it would be fulfilling to use my compassion, organizational skills, and non-​judgmental attitude to help. And I’ve been right!

With our corporate move approaching, I recently spent several days with Janet Bloom, sorting, organizing, donating and discarding items help reduce the cost and hassle of our move. Janet
helped with what at first seemed like an impossibly large task. She helped me organize it into manageable tasks to get through the process. Together we sorted through storage areas, closets and cabinets and were able to discard close to 2000 pounds which will directly reduce the cost of our move. She has amazing resources and she was able to arrange fast and reliable pickup of items we did not need to move. Janet is a pleasure to work with. She is encouraging and has many great strategies in making those tough decisions about what to move and what to part with. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs assistance in getting organized.

Janet Bloom, the owner of the Wise Organizer, recently helped me through a reorganization process and remodeling job for my basement. I had boxes of both my late parents’ belongings, as well as my great aunt’s, and the contractors were arriving, and I was overwhelmed on where to start. Janet gently and competently jumped started me, took charge, and made suggestions that resulted in a breeze of a project. She followed up with me to see if I needed additional help and to make sure everything had gone smoothly. Janet is well connected in her field and knows how to get jobs done, whether it be moving, donating, painting, handyman work, or just about anything that I asked about. She was a rock star.
