I would like to preface my review by saying that I think on a personal level Andrea and her team are enjoyable to work with. That being said, here is my reason for the two stars: I initially invested close to $ 1500 to de clutter/​organize my townhouse, and at my last session we still weren’t close to being finished. I then purchased another session, and at the end of that session there were still areas of the house that hadn’t been addressed. At that point, I asked Andrea how many more sessions was it going to take to accomplish the goals that had been set at the initial consult. She replied that I would need an additional 1 – 2 sessions. So at this point I’m looking at an investment of around $ 2000. And without any guarantee that it would be complete after those additional sessions. I’m disappointed, confused, and angry that I was misled at the initial consult with Andrea; she surveyed my house and said, «yes, I believe we can help you accomplish your goals». She then told me it would take 5 sessions. I commissioned her for those sessions, and $ 1700 later, my house is still cluttered with the things that Andrea had enthusiastically said she could help me remove/​organize. It is certainly better than it was, but not $ 1700 better. I understand that people work at different paces, but 1) I was motivated to work hard and be productive, which compelled me to at the very least work at a reasonable pace and 2) Andrea should be able to account for different paces in her quote.

Andrea and her team are fantastic! I never thought I would spend the money to have an organizer help me, but after we moved I was overwhelmed with the unpacking and organizing I had to do, all while working every day and everything else I had to do. When I finally realized I needed help, Andrea came to help me figure it out and had a team at my house in no time. It was money well spent. They got so much done, they had great ideas, and it was a huge relief to me to work with them. I have recommended Andrea to friends who were also very happy.

When I was going crazy trying to figure out as a small business owner how to tame the paperwork on my desk, answer the emails and provide outstanding customer service through timely following and the right card at the right time; Andrea and her Dexterous Organizing Team came to the rescue. In three sessions of about 2 – 3 hrs each, she help me develop a plan that included the right tools for me and an accountability plan that would make me successful. The results are baffling, peace of mind period. I highly recommend investing in her very affordable and flexible plans to support your success.

I had the opportunity to use Andrea & her team to organized a few offices after a move — they did a fantastic job! I only had a small window of time to organize two offices she and her team came in an put systems in place that made it easy to follow and keep up! They were on time, efficient and most of all once they left I could continue with the process. When I get a little off track I call Andrea and she comes in to tweak things once again an gets my office right back on track. Organization is not my strongest asset so I have learned to give that part of my professional and personal life to Andrea and her team it was the best decision I made as it has helped me to function on a higher level knowing that everything is in its proper place!!!

I recently moved to Northern Virginia and decided to hire Dexterous Organizing after interviewing a few Professional Organizers and Personal Concierge Companies. It was a very wise decision (if I do say so myself). I am a single mom and Sales Executive. The multitude of tasks involved with moving an entire household were completely overwhelming when added to my personal and professional obligations. Working with Andrea and her team has expedited the unpacking and settling process and eased the stress involved with this major transition. Andrea has a standing order to pencil me in for a working session whenever her schedule allows. As we work through unpacking and organzing my new household we continue to find opportunities to further streamline my day-​to-​day lifestyle by maximizing efficiences, minimizing clutter and logically organizing my home for living (and enjoyment). Andrea accomplishes most of her work while I’m at the office or on business travel which allows me more quality time with my child or for myself. That in and of itself is priceless. I can’t recommend Dexterous Organizing more strenuously. Andrea is fabulous!

Chances are if you have ever thought about hiring a professional organizer chances are you probably should. And if you do I would highly recommend you give Andrea a call. Time is Money and of course there is a charge for the service but what you pay her you will get back in time. Because she actually consults with you to develop a plan that works best for you. Andrea Hancock of B Dexterous is phenomenal. My kitchen pantry was disorganized to the point where I dreaded going in there. Andrea came in, surveyed the situation, took measurements, listened to what my hopes and goals were, and found some of the most ingenious solutions imaginable. She helped me get rid of the clutter, organize like with like, and best of all, increased my storage space so now there are actually shelves that are EMPTY (which means I can transition stuff from overflowing closets onto them)! I had been really embarrassed to let anyone see how messy my pantry was, but Andrea was incredibly sweet, efficient, and helpful. Definitely recommended!
