Business Owner

Tom Vitale began his career in construction working for a trim carpenter a the age of sixteen in New Jersey and it was here that he fell in love with the trade.

At the age of twenty-​seven, he founded his own construction company — Vitale Construction Inc., now known as VCI, inc. VCI inc’s. focus was on commercial and residential construction projects ranging from tenant fit outs for companies like Boeing, Pitney Bowes, and US Airways, to custom single-​family homes and historical renovations.

In 2000, Tom started VCI inc’s sister company Oak Hill Building & Remodeling shortly after the newly named zip code called Oak Hill, Virginia. Tom saw a change in the Northern Virginia housing market, rendering a need for remodelers rather than strictly home builders. His creation of Oak Hill Building was to fulfill that need today.
