They are using faulty screen replacement:
Had my daughters iPad fixed instead of buying a used one on eBay. What a mistake !
They replaced the screen, basic testing worked. However, later i discovered screen had blind spots where touch does not work, especially when keyboard is rotated, certain keys on the corners are not working. I discovered the issue when traveling in Europe. It was too late to get it fixed again.
Big regrets for using them.
I do NOT recommend anyone to use this place for screen replacement. Waste of money.

I’ve now used Fix & Style twice for iPhone screen repairs and have been very satisfied with the results. They do a full functionality check before and after and the screen repair and everything has worked well for months. You’d hope any repair would cover this. Where they get 5 stars is their availability. We had them come pick up the phone and repair it within hours, and the second time was taken care of on the spot, coming to a Mason basketball game and repairing the screen during the game. Very professional service and great results.

I stopped in when my smartphone decided it didn’t want to turn on. The staff member at the counter was able to quickly diagnose the issue and fix it (because it was a particularly simple repair, for free). Very friendly and professional service. Would highly recommend to other customers.

We went in to have an old iPhone screen replaced. Michel did a great job and was very fast. The price was about $ 65 which I thought was very reasonable.

Edward was fantastic at helping us. My fiancé’s iPhone 6S made its way into some water. We did the usual: phone off, rice for 2 days, but wanted to be sure there was nothing still inside.
The tech cleaned it up, and didn’t find any major damage. They could’ve overcharged us (because you know how people get when they fear the worst), but they were good. They got to checking the phone the same day, and we picked it up the next morning. Highly recommended!

Great place! I took my S4 here on Black Friday. I guess a lot of phones get dropped over this holiday weekend, as they were really busy. Well they had my screen and LED thing in stock! They fixed it on time like they said, same day. Service was great, and its been almost three weeks and my phone still works great. I hope I don’t need to, but if necessary I will be back without hesitation.
Okay so some extra stuff, I called around to 7 – 8 different places in the area, most places told me they would have to order the part, 3 – 4 days without a cell phone? On a holiday weekend when people are in town? Nope not me, so not only do they have things in stock, they are also one of the cheaper options as well!

Brought in a Samsung tablet that had been dropped and had a dead keyboard. Fixed in less than 10 minutes. When I got home, the tablet worked fine, but my wifi reception was quite poor. Brought the tablet back in, and they found a loose antenna connection. Fixed in 5 minutes — and no additional charge. Would highly recommend Fix & Style.

The back of my phone cracked and they fixed it perfectly and fast. And it was for a very reasonable price.
My husband also brought his phone to fix a Start button, and it was fixed very fast.
I would definitely recommend this place.

As the owner said in his comments, they did a lot to get my phone working right. I really appreciated that! I do need to swing by again to see if we can get the location/​gps service locking better than it is now… last time they took it apart and put it back together again and it worked far better… The rest of the issues are G2 and older OS… waiting for new Android OS from Verizon — hopefully that will fix some issues with phone connecting to calls once call icon is pushed in contacts/​text messages loading faster (lags so much sometimes they never appear at all!) But as for Fix & Style in Fairfax, they are good by me! Far better than going direct to Verizon!

My Kindle Paperwhite had an issue with the charging port. The five pins inside the port didn’t match up well with the charger, and when you connected the charger, it would usually pop right back out. Because of all the positive Unilocal reviews, we took it in to Fix & Style today.
The guy who waited on us had obviously never dealt with a Paperwhite, and didn’t know how to open the case, but he took it in the back for a few minutes, then came back to say that he couldn’t find the part online. He felt that there was something missing inside the port, possibly a piece of plastic that had broken off at some point. While he was talking to us, he pulled out a charger and started to connect it, but then went in the back to do it. Finally he said he couldn’t help us. When we walked outside, my husband looked at the port and realized that there are now only three pins left inside, because the guy had forced in the charger and broken the pins off entirely. So now instead of a Kindle with a wonky charging port that worked occasionally, I have a Kindle with an entirely useless charging port.
While the guy we talked to was very nice, I won’t go back, and I certainly never take a Kindle to Fix & Style.

My iPhone 6 Plus slipped out of my hand and cracked headfirst on the concrete! I was furious! I was going to take it back to Apple but i didn’t want a refurbished phone and the headache of having to download my apps again and waiting for a tech at the genius bar line so i googled Iphone repair in my area! i saw The Fix & Style Video and was sold immediately! The staff was friendly and my repair was done within 30 minutes! Had to leave a review for these guys they are the best!

For a fairly reasonable price, my phone screen was replaced. For that part, I say 5 stars.
For the battery that was sold to me and then didn’t work that well, I docked a few stars. I’m not sure if it was just that battery or all of their batteries. But, the end result is that I ended up with a useless $ 40 battery.
Update: after receiving a phone call about my review, I’ve opted to increase the review by a star. Namely because it seems their customer service is solid and they actually do care about giving the customer a great experience and for me, that matters. That doesn’t really help with money I lost on the battery, but they also didn’t manufacture the battery. So, there’s that.
Bottom line: for screen repairs, if I cracked mine again, I would come back because that service was affordable, fast, and effective. I wouldn’t purchase phone accessories. I’ll probably stick with Amazon which has cheaper items that are returnable.

Only because I have give 1 star. READ THE OTHER REVIEWS. THEY GIVE YOU FAULTY SCREENS TO CHARGE YOU AGAIN FOR MORE REPAIRS. Don’t trust them, charged 200 for a new screen and LCD. left the store and a purple stain appeared, couldn’t go back to show them because they were about to close, called them and they said the next morning was fine. UPON RETURNING per their instruction they refused to replace the screen THEY had overheated because we had it overnight. Will find any reason to get more $ out of you. Brit was nice but the manager won’t even give you his name. Be wary.

So I found this place on Unilocal thinking it’s a true 4star and took my phone in for water damage! they just replaces my battery for $ 90 which ok I understand they opened the phone and had to check everything and I gladly paid that! Then l realize no one can hear me and my screen doesn’t turn on so I call and they sat bring it in we will fix it under the warranty and when I take it back they say it’s another $ 70 to fix it! Really!?? What If again something els pops up? Is that another $ 100? Very disappointed don’t recommend the place and wont go back!

Friendly customer service. My iPhone Screen was inoperable. Repaired screen and replaced battery in less than 30 minutes and phone was brand new again. Thanks! Definitely stop by here before going to the Apple Store or your service provider.

Took my iPhone 5C in because i shattered the screen and I could not use it without cutting myself on the shards of glass:/
Took it in because my little brother had the same thing happen a few months ago
the procedure took less than 30 minutes and i was out the door with a phone that looked brand new!

I showed up at 5pm and they were pretty busy but very nice and apologizing for delay in getting to me (which was only a couple minutes really). My iPhone 5s glass screen had be smashed really bad and even though they were busy they had if fixed in about 20 mins. i purchased a glass protector and they installed it perfectly and quickly in 10 mins. The whole thing cost about $ 130 for glass and protector and if you sign up for their email list they will send you a $ 5 email.
The guys are all very nice and professional — great work!

Service was awesome! Everything was quick and easy! No hassle! The guys were awesome! I shattered my iPhone screen and they fixed it in about 1.5 hrs. It cost $ 80 bucks.
Great small business that I’d recommend to all my friends! They also sell other phone accessories and cases there as well.

I brought my iPhone in for a screen repair/​replacement after my six month old knocked it off the table and smashed the screen. It was still useable but I decided to take my business here and have it fixed.
The pros: the young man who helped me when I came in was very friendly.
The cons: where do I begin?
The screen was better off broken! The material they used for the replacement were shoddy at best.
The viewing angle is ridiculously narrow now. (Meaning whenever I tilt my phone at all the screen colors looks psychedelic)
When I called about the issue I was told that that was too bad. There was nothing they could or would do about it.
So, long story short, it was a small crack that I could have lived with but, because I chose to take it here to be repaired, I have a phone with an awful screen as there is nothing I can do about it!
