The team that moved me on Saturday were amazing! I had to move alone since my husband was on travel, so my 70 year old parents came to help and I was worried how much we could actually do. But the guys were quick, courteous and really made the move seamless.
Thanks so much for making a stressful time less stressful! You guys rock!

Couldn’t be happier with the service we received from Made Movers. They were on time, professional, helpful and thoughtful while moving and wrapping all of our items. They took time to ask where everything should go, what should be wrapped, etc. The weather was horrible and pouring out, yet they went above and beyond to make sure nothing was harmed by the weather. I definitely recommend this moving service!

Prompt, courteous, and professional, at a reasonable price. The manager even showed up to help out when they arrived a few minutes late. They also took care to wrap my leather sofas. I can wholeheartedly recommend their services.

Made Movers are absolutely phenomenal! They arrived on time and helped me move from a studio in DC to a 3-​bedroom in Arlington. I thought the move would take all day but Joseph and his co-​worker were extremely efficient and hardworking. It only took about four hours. It was kind of a trek to get from my studio to the elevator to the walkway outside which then led to their truck, but neither one of them complained. They were very courteous and professional.
I hadn’t thought about it prior to my move, but I did not think to get materials to wrap up my fragile items such as glass from my table. But Joseph carefully wrapped all of my items in protective wrap and made sure nothing was scratched or damage. They even wrapped up my mattress to keep it from getting dirty during the move.
Additionally, I forgot to ask for my key FOB back and Joseph was conscientious enough to remember and come back to return it to me. I highly recommend their services and will definitely be using them in the future for any further moves!

Our move in date was pushed up significantly and the movers we used in the past weren’t able to accommodate our new time frame. However they recommended Made Movers and luckily we were able to secure them quickly.
Our move took much longer than expected– from estimated 5 hrs to actually 8, but that wasn’t their fault. We had tons of stuff, some heavy pieces, and a fourth floor walk up! Never once did they complain (at least not where we could hear lol!)!
Unfortunately our daughter’s prized art table was broken during the move but Made Movers (and Joseph) went above and beyond to remedy the problem. It was a ‘cheapish’ table bought at Michaels but of course, our daughter loved it (she bought it with her own money & used it almost everyday!). Rather than just brush it off or simply offer a small discount to suffice, Joseph and his crew, AFTER WORKING 8 hrs of heavy lifting up 4 flights of stairs, drove all the way to Herndon to find the exact table & then came back and built it for her!!! As far as she’s concerned, they are Rock Stars and I guess to us too!
We highly recommend them for your big (like ours) or small move!!!
PS they disassembled & reassembled all our beds too… something my husband was especially happy about!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Moved into town but a friend and I couldn’t get my couch through the door. I called randomly on a Sunday, and I was offered a reasonable quote since I was just moving a couch from outside my apt to inside my apt. Thirty minutes later the couch was inside my apt. Obviously the turn around time may vary but i appreciated the openness to take on a small job. Thank you, guys.

Joe and his colleague helped with our move with very short notice. He was extremely professional, showed up on time and was very efficient. They were worth every penny and I would definitely use their moving service again if I move in the future.

My move was today. The guys arrived on time, packed our stuff carefully, and moved faster than I expected. Joseph and his staff were very courteous and professional, I am honestly very satisfied with their customer service and efficiency during this move. I wish moving companies were as honest and efficient as Made Movers. This is an example of a well managed business. I wish you much success.

Joe and his team were exceptional. They were able to find ways to fit all my things into my new house. They went above and beyond when they were able to maneuver my 7-​foot long leather couch over a balcony to get it onto the second floor. They are experts at being careful with furniture and just courteous, nice people. I recommend them and would use them again!

I originally called Premier Movers based on their reviews, but a month out they were already booked and recommended Made Movers instead. I’m guessing I spoke to Joseph the owner who said he could accommodate me and gave me the quote. I think there is sometimes a 3 hour minimum, but because I called ahead he was willing to waive that to two. I had two guys for two hours for an easy within Arlington move. Joseph called before they showed up and then he took a look at the furniture to inspect for any damage pre-​move. The two guys quickly and efficiently wrapped everything up and put it on the truck. At my new place, they helped me figure out where to put everything. They were friendly and courteous, and nothing was damaged. I will definitely use them again.

Holy cow, these guys are Tetris Masters. Easiest move ever.
Arrived half an hour early to our delight, and our minimal 1 bedroom /​1 bathroom was moved in under 3 hours.

Outstanding moving service. These guys are total pros and made the moving process painless. They showed up promptly, were super efficient and got the job done right.

Waited until the last minute to find a moving company and Made Movers happened to be available when I needed them. Man, did I get lucky! These guys showed up early and ready to go. They are very efficient and have great time management skills. The move took longer than originally anticipated, but not because of the guys, I just had way more stuff collected over the last 5 years.
I hope to not have to move anytime soon, but would totally recommend to friends and family. They will be at the top of my list for my next move.

Made Movers — courteous, professional at a fair price.
I can’t say enough positive things about the guys from ‘Made Movers’. I hired them for a local Virginia move with in the greater DC area. From my first conversation with Joseph Espanoza till the last box was dropped off and the loose papers picked up, everything, and I mean absolutely everything, was handled promptly, professionally and courteously.
My crew were all very professional in the execution of their duties. Everyone on the crew (Carlos, Travis, and Fernando) were courteous and friendly. Constantly checking and verifying that things were handles to my satisfaction.
They were quick and efficient in packing up my home. Everything they touched they treated it as if it were their own. They understood that my belongings were important to me and accordingly gave them and me proper respect. Carlos and Travis listened attentively to my directions and gave proper attention to ensure I was completely comfortable with every step and action taken.
As for value, worth every penny. When it came time to move my oversized couch through a undersized door in a narrow hallway, Fernando knew exactly what would work to angle and maneuver to get my coach through the door. A tricky and potentially disastrous moment was avoided because of Fernando’s knowledge gained through his years of experience.
In short, Made Movers are quality people who charge a fair price and do a thoroughly professionally job.

I had two movers to unload my storage unit to a rowhome in DC. They took good care of our furniture. Between the two guys, they were able to hoist my enormous couch over a 6 foot wall in my backyard since it wouldn’t fit through my front door. They finished ahead of schedule and were so efficient.

These guys are the best. Joseph and his crew of two other guys, Carlo and Fernando, were completely professional and pleasant throughout a major move of our three bedroom home. They were super efficient and never complained during the 9 hour move, which also involved lots of care for artwork and antiques. Their rates are more reasonable than others, and you won’t find better movers. I cannot recommend Made Movers highly enough.

Needed to hire movers for a quick one bedroom in-​town move in Arlington and after getting multiple estimates, Made Movers had the best prices and availability. They arrived 10 minutes early and got the job done quickly and efficiently. They wrapped all of my furniture in blankets and were careful with the rest of my odds and ends. I wish they would have warned me there was a two hour minimum beforehand, but other than that everything was as described. I would use them again if another move came up.

I only needed help unloading two PODS that were shipped from Texas. Two guys came for the move, and we had them empty in two hours. They got some heavy furniture where it needed to go easily despite some tight angles and narrow staircases.
It was easy to get a date booked, and they emailed and called to confirm. That was comforting since we were coming in from out of state.

I am signing up to Unilocal just to post on my experience with Made Movers. I picked them based on the good reviews and the fact that they didn’t have any hidden costs and gave me a reasonable quote compared to some of the other moving companies I reached out to. In the end I’m so happy I went with them.
My move was complicated by the fact that I was moving from a third floor apartment with no elevator and I had a second stop at a storage facility. Made Movers worked very quickly and I appreciated that they carefully wrapped some of my furniture — which was not done in previous moves. Among the items I was moving were two fragile wine fridges that had previously been dented and a dozen or so boxes of wine — they moved these carefully with no damage. They were also quick between the second stop and the final destination. I will definitely keep them in mind for future moves!

I’ve been using Joe and his team for more than two years now — for ever local move in the DMV area. They are professional, punctual, and will go above and beyond to assist in every way possible while doing what they can to save you fees. Most other experiences I’ve had with moving companies have been awful, where they will charge you for materials or have extra fees for stairs, etc. but Joe and Made Movers have 0 hidden fees.
In addition, I live alone and I always call Joe for help with moving new furniture purchases upstairs, etc. when I’m in a pinch, and he will do what he can to accommodate and help despite his busy schedule. I never have to worry about safety because over time we have built trust and I know their level of professional integrity.
So grateful for Made Movers; I’ve already referred them to at least two other friends and I will continue using them for local moves!
