Ace Mobile Auto Detailing and Wash

I never got to hire them to DO the detailing of my car because they were so demanding, rude and difficult via email in trying to schedule and get any kind of estimate at ALL for the potential work! It doesn’t have to be that hard to get any idea of what the services will cost. After several exchanges and still no information given, they didn’t bother to answer my last email asking if there are package based on the size of the vehicle, they haven’t bothered to reply at all. It really seemed they did not want the work. Not impressed with the process to hire/​schedule. No matter how great the work might be, if you are treating me like dirt to start with, why would I go through that?

Absolutely superlative experience.
Booking — initial contact via e-​mail was very responsive, and provided appropriate ‘details’ regarding the service. Date/​time preference was readily accommodated.
Arrival — Nathan was punctual, professional and ready to work.
Process — shared helpful information up front and throughout the process regarding Ace services and products. Nathan demonstrated broad and deep expertise.
Preparation — had all necessary products, materials & supplies to complete the job, including OEM touch-​up paint and new (!) microfiber towels.
Diligence — worked 6+ hours with minimal breaks; Nathan is incredibly industrious and preternaturally meticulous.
Results — vehicle has been generally well-​cared for and is in excellent condition… even so, the outcome was remarkable. Allowing for 40,000+ wear miles (i.e., minor paint blemishes), it is fair to describe the condition of the vehicle now as better than it was in the new car delivery bay at the dealership.
Summary — the standard by which auto detailing services should be measured.

I have used nearly a handful of auto detailers over the past decade in and around Fairfax County and I can honestly say that no one comes close to doing as thorough of a job as Nathan with Ace Mobile Auto Detailing & Wash. He came to my house at the time he promised and worked a straight 6.5 hours on my 5-​year old Ford Fusion. He brings everything to do the job with him including water and electricity. Nathan demonstrated a remarkable knowledge of detailing and takes incredible pride in his work. His attention to detail is simply amazing. My car looks and smells like it did when I first drove it off the dealer’s lot.
You may find other detailer’s in the area that are slightly cheaper, but I promise you that Ace is worth the little bit more for the superior service that you’ll receive. I highly recommend their services and I plan to use them as long as I’m in the Northern Virginia area.

Extremely impressed with Ace Detailing. I sent a request for quote last week and within the day had scheduled my appointment for the following week. Nathan and his partner arrived right on time, and even sent an initial text confirming they were on their way so I could keep a lookout. 3 quick hours later, the interior of my car was returned to a like-​new state — something I didn’t think was possible after spending a muddy weekend camping and tracking it back into the car. I’m so happy with the finished product and hesitate about using them in the future. Very satisfied customer!

Nathan and Jay came to my house and spent over 7hrs each detailing my 67 Vette. I thought the car was already in great shape but they made it look spectacular! Their attention to detail is unmatched. I asked them to apply the CQ Quartz finish to the car and it shines like glass. Nathan spent over two hours detailing the interior on this very small car. They also made the chrome sparkle. If you have a car that you love, I would highly recommend ACE auto detailing.

Nathan achieved the impossible: An immaculate Highlander that had been destroyed by toddlers and their messy grandmother. I am demanding when I am paying for a service and I was never so pleased as I was with Nathan’s work. As the 3-​year-​old said when he saw the clean car, «stupendous!»

Wow! Car looks great. Absolute fantastic job. Their service is top notch and I couldn’t ask for any better. They answered all of my questions before, during and after. They also suggested a few products to use for maintenance washes. I will definitely be using them again and recommending them to anyone.

These guys are awesome! I had them detail a 2011 Sienna and a 2007 4Runner that had two filthy toddlers riding around in them. The level of detail was amazing — they spent 10 hours getting these cars to look like they were brand new off the show room floor. Gave us ideas on how to keep them clean, products to use etc. and even spent additional time trying to get some dog hair out that I didn’t know was there from the few times our dog rode in the car. I never write Unilocal reviews but wanted to for these guys because they are amazing. The only detailing I had done before was at a carwash type place… that doesn’t compare to what you get with these guys. I spent a bit more than I would have at one of those places, but it was worth every penny! Plan to hire them again and again.

This company provides an exceptional professional detail! They know their business from top to bottom. By far the best true detail I have received in my 32 years of owning vehicles. Thank you Ace!

Just had my 2006 FX 35 detailed last Friday — a very cold day for outside work. The technician spent 7 hours on every detail inside and out and the car looks almost new again. Cleaning included removing dog hair — not a lot but enough to be annoying and extra work. The black and silver shines nicely just in time for winter.

I just saw my car after a 3 hour detailing job by Nathan & Jay and I cannot express how shocked/​thrilled I am! My car is a 7 year old Saab and although it’s in good shape (few dings/​scratches) the paint was «swirled» from years of car wash tunnels (previous owner, not me) and now it literally looks like glass. One of my co-​workers came out to the parking lot with me and was blown away at how the paint looked «brand new». The interior looks showroom as well and even though I am a neat freak they amazed me at just how good my car could look. Super courteous, on time, cannot say enough good things about these guys. I will be back in 6 months!

I was totally impressed with this service… Nate came to my place of work and meet me in the parking lot. Three hours later my car looked brand new! I have LIGHT gray cloth seats that were pretty disgusting and now they look as good as the day I bought the car. My car is 7 yrs old and has never looked better… I would recommend these guys to anyone who asks. I took a bunch of business cards and plan on handing them out to my co-​workers. The price was very reasonable considering the magic that they make happen!

Had to get a minivan cleaned before shipping it. They came to house and cleaned every nook an cranny. Worked on it for almost 10 hours. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Absolutely recommend.

I’ve been using Ace for several years and have never had anything but a fantastic experience with them. Our cars are always left looking and smelling brand new. This past time Ace noticed that I had a few little nicks on the front bumper. and a couple other small places where the paint had been damaged. He had the right color Mercedes paint to do the touch ups right there. They are always very professional, very nice and very helpful.

Definitely the best detail job I have ever had. I have had my cars detailed over the last 15 years and have never been so satisfied as I am right now. I had the work done at my house. I was able to get some work done around the house and keep an eye on work. For about five straight hours the detailer worked with intensity non stop completely dedicated to my car. I watched as the signs of this awful winter disappeared from my exterior and a deep gorgeous shine was left. My accord is 6 years old and is definitely shining like new. I just keep walking around it staring at the shine. My interior is fresh and clean. He was able to get my stains out and it looks and smells great. The vents were clean and what meant a lot to me was the area around my shifter and the cracks in the seats were spotless. I would definitely recommend using ace detail as I couldn’t be more satisfied both with the effort and result. See you next year and thanks again.

Just got the «New Car Care Protection Package».
Since it’s a new car, I couldn’t really tell a noticeable difference but I’m glad to know that the inside and outside are protected for a good while (since I declined all the protection items from the dealer). Instead of doing a second coat of sealant, Jay did a polish which I was very pleased with and I think will be better in the long run, so thanks, Jay!
Overall I’m happy with the service. They were on time, pleasant to deal and talk with. Haven’t had any experience with other professional detailers but overall my experience with Ace was good. The price seems a little high, but I think that it’s worth based on all the good reviews they have and the good job they do. Other detailers seemed to be hit or miss so I was willing to pay a little more to be sure it was gonna be a hit, and it was. They did a great job and I’m very pleased.
When I originally posted this review I made some comments that Ace immediately followed up on the next day. I was very impressed by the quick response and how seriously they take their reputation. I’ve updated this review since and highly recommend choosing Ace, they take your business seriously!

My car was the nastiest, dirtiest, smelliest thing in town. I decided to use Ace based on their reviews. They were meticulous! Jay and one other guy came. The quality of work was amazing. He spent so much time and attention to detail. I had forgotten that my headliner was orginally light grey — not the charcoal grey it had become. My car is ten years old and he cleaned and waxed the exterior so beautifully the paint looked brand new.
Overall I was thrilled with the quality of service and attention to detail. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and will happily use them again. Thanks so much!

I’ve had horrible experiences with details in the past and finally I found a professional company I can trust with my sweet ride. In the past I would hire a company and pay top dollar for a detail only to realize I get screwed every time. Some thug or non english speaking crew would come and do a fast incomplete job most of the time and the cleanliness never lasts.
The guy from Ace came to my house and took his time over 3 hours of work for a lot less than I normally pay. They took my car with 100k of miles on it and made it like new. I wish I could show before and after pictures. They buffed out scratches and dings that I thought I was going to have to deal with with a new paint job. I’m definitely using them again and all these reviews are no joke. They really do deserve 5 stars.
