From Basic Maintenance Details, to Multi Stage complete Paint Restorations and Concours Prep, Paint Protection Films, Trim Restoration, Paintless Dent Repair & Protective Coatings. We use only elite level, pH balanced, non acidic materials that are both environmentally friendly, and gentle on your vehicle’s finish.

Born of a passion for fine automobiles, and the never ending quest for aesthetic perfection. Owner & Operator, Brian Lewis, has been a car enthusiast since childhood and has been involved in every facet from mechanical work, performance & racing, to detailing. It is this enthusiastic approach that has enabled SpeedFreak to emerge as one of the top detailing studios in Northern, VA as well as being recognized nationally.

At SpeedFreak, we take a highly personal approach, and will consult with you throughout the process from start to finish. Brian Lewis is a master of the trade, and will help educate you on every available option, so that you can be confident about your purchasing decisions. We aim to exceed your expectations!

The quality of workmanship and attention to detail makes this the best detailing shop in the area! John was extremely helpful, knowledgable and came highly recommended from several car enthusiasts. SpeedFreak Detailing is a detail shop run by car enthusiasts and it shows in their work. I can not recommend SpeedFreak Detailing highly enough. It’s not just a job, it’s their passion.
The Paint Protection Film (PPF) applied to my new, EuroDelivered BMW Sport Wagon was done extremely well. The PPF was applied to the front bumper, full hood, front fenders, mirrors, rocker panels, A-​pillars, leading edge of the roof, and a load strip for the hatch. It’s obvious that care was taken to properly prep the surface before applying the PPF. All the PPF seams were properly wrapped around edges, tucked and trimmed with care.
John has also been very helpful with post-​sale support to ensure my ride continues looking great!

I never realized there were people as particular as me about their cars until I met John. What a knowledgeable, professional, and exceptionally qualified shop. John was nice enough to explain every step to me in great detail. They use the best products, proper techniques, and don’t cut corners to turn out great work. A true detailing shop that does amazing work. They offer several products and services and I spent money on a 1-​step paint correction and Modesta for my Kia Forte 5. This shop tends to get a lot of high-​end and rare cars, but they still treat your everyday car with the same amount of care, attention to detail, and enthusiasm.
The paint correction will have your car looking better than it did even on the day it was built. Most of all, they go way beyond when it comes to standing behind their work. I can’t wait to be ready to bring my Mitsubishi to them in the future.

I’ve known Brian since he was at the old shop and posting his work on the BMW forums. I always admired his work, his professional service, and his careful attention to detail that makes an OCD patient jealous. And no, I am not kidding. You want that kind of attention to detail when you have your car detailed by anyone. I could never find anyone that cared that much about the cars they work on until Brian and SpeedFreak Detailing.
I would highly recommend Brian and his shop to anyone that loves their cars, classic or new, to get it detailed, corrected, and even have a clear bra put on. Truly an art mastered by this shop. I will definitely be going back any time I need anything, and recommend any and all my friends as well.

Brought a brand new WRX to them to get the clear protection film done on the front end and to cover the car with one of their paint coatings. Even brand new, the car had small scratches. These guys did a meticulous job cleaning it up and applying their products. Looks like it has wet paint on it, it’s so glossy! Exceeded my expectations!

Can’t say enough about this place. I’ve been trying to get my M5 to them for over a year, but with work and other obligations, couldn’t make it happen. I am proud to say last week I had a day off to drop the vehicle off for stage 1 paint correction, opti-​coat and headlight restoration. Brian’s communications/​customer service throughout the entire process was on point and very fast. He would update me frequently throughout the entire process which was a bonus. This place is as good as it gets! Took years off the car, and I get compliments left and right about how good my 15 year old car looks. I plan on returning for my next exterior detail when it comes time.

SpeedFreak Detailing is the best detailing shop in the area. I am very anal when it comes to taking care of my car so finding a good detail shop was very important to me. I met one of the partners John Perdue a few years ago and decided to give him a paint correction and cquartz polish job. He did such an outstanding job he has been my detailer ever since. I had so much swirl in my black GTR I wanted to sell it, but after he was done with it, my car looked better than new. Since then, my car has gone through many changes like being wrapped in vinyl. Even with the changes, SpeedFreak Detailing does all my detailing and maintanance of my car. They even tested and experimented wit my vinyl to see that products worked best with the vinyl. I highly recommend them for paint corrections and full details. They are authorized dealers for Modesta and Opti-​Coat which are protective coats that make your car bling bling. Their pricing is very competitive, their customer service is awesome, and their quality of work is amazing. This is due to the fact that the owners Brian and John are the ones doing the actual work and not some hired hands. And believe me when I tell you, these guys are super anal when it comes to detailing. Love that about them.
