Absolutely outstanding service. Friendly, professional, speedy and affordable. I called Mike on a Thursday after our 22 year old heating system quit. He and his crew put in the new system on Saturday and beat the competition’s prices hands down.

I had an HVAC company in my area come out to look at the HVAC at my rental property. They had provided service before with good service but this time, they charged me to find out what was wrong and then they quoted me a price that was more than I was willing to pay. Just to get a second opinion, I asked a trusted friend for a reference (I should have done this initially) and he referred ABC 24 Hours Heating & Cooling; he said call Mike — trust me.
Well he was right. I called Mike, he immediately said provide me the address and I will go take a look no charge. He called me back after inspecting the unit and told me what was needed with a very cost effective price. Mike and I met at a Starbucks and talking with him was a pleasant experience as well as very comforting to know that I was working with a professional.
You would be missing out by not AT LEAST consulting Mike before you do anything with your HVAC system. They completed the work quickly. I will always use Mike for my rental and personal home. I will refer him to all my friends and anyone else that will listen.

Mike and his crew were FANTASTIC! My experience with the company was positive from the start. I called in an HVAC service request and Mike came to my home the same day. He carefully diagnosed the problem and the necessary repairs and recommended a few value-​added options I could consider (those that were not covered by my home warranty insurance). Within only a few days, he and his crew (William, the lead technician, and his assistant) were back and worked the whole day initiating and completing the repairs professionally, cordially and above all competently. Mike has helped us with AC repairs at our rental townhouse in Reston in the past. He is always very reasonable and prompt. This time the unit died over the w/​e, again Mike responded quickly. As he had warned us in the past the unit was now at a point of not worth repairing. Mike gave us a very competitive price to completely repair the unit and 3 days after the initial call the new unit was installed and running. Positive experience for my family.
Our AC was 30 yrs old. We purchased a home warranty to avoid having to pay full price on a whole HVAC system replacement when we purchased the house. Warranty company was stubborn when our AC broke last year and got 3 technicians with several recalls to come and give it a temp fix. But this year, they sent Mike from ABC 24 hours. Lucky us. Seriously!
Mike came on scheduled day without delays, respectful and knowledgeable. In our multiple dealings with different Contractors, he is one of the good ones. He understood the situation, diagnosed the issue, provided recommendation. He managed to get us a replacement unit for our whole system, essentially helping us save at least 7k. He was who we needed as the warranty folks listened to him. Multiple delays within the warranty company aside, Mike and his team achieved their goal of providing excellent service to their customer. They were swift, efficient and professional. A job well-​done.

These people who all wrote bad reviews are ALL wrong. They are just all mad because they where not satisfied. I had abc 24 hours come over and they had my ac running in no time. I called them about 7am and they got here around 10:30 am witch was very quick. He was very professional and knowledgeable. I really recommend him, try him for your self!

Mike is the most un professional person I have met.
Not only he could not fix our thermostat the first time, he blamed problem on us for not knowing how to use it. We had to call back and showed up 4 days later and spent over an hour and had to reinstall another new thermostat while re-​wiring the whole board on the furnace. I really think he does not know much about his profession. I noticed this as he was working. He tried everything a few times until he thought it was working. He charged our home warranty company $ 200 for a $ 60 thermostat. I found him to be dishonest & disrespectful.

My heating unit stopped producing heat last night — first snow of the year came in as well. Called Mike at ABC 24 this morning at 8:30 and he was here by 10. It’s 11A now and I can feel the heat pumping through the house at a cost of less than $ 200. Feared the worst of having to put in a whole new unit but didn’t need to. He showed me exactly what was going on within the unit, had a new part in his truck and was very professional the whole time. I would use Mike again should I need anything further done or wanting any improvements completed.

I felt confident calling ABC, because they have 5 stars on 40+ Google reviews. I did check Unilocal,and I found some disgruntled insurance users. I can’t speak to Mike’s interactions with insurance companies, but my dealings with him were out of pocked, and on a Saturday night/​Sunday Morning.
For reference, I was able to get in touch with Michael & Son before speaking to Mike (owner of ABC, I believe), but I balked at their $ 89 diagnostic fee and $ 159 «emergency» fee, on top of any labor/​parts needed for actual repair. Mike’s fee was $ 89, applied as the first half hour of repairs, if performed, even on the weekend. He came out promptly on Sunday morning, and I watched him diagnose the issue, and asked him questions along the way. I did this for my own information, as I am a tech head but sometimes absolutely clueless when it comes to specific machinery (such as my Carrier furnace). Mike explained what he was doing, and why he was doing it. He did not waste any time, and, from my view, did everything by the book.
In the end, I spent a little less than $ 200 to get a non-​working furnace working again on a Sunday. This included a $ 55 failed part. Definitely happy with Mike’s service and pricing, and will not hesitate to call again. I’m surprised with the negative reviews he has here but I guess that is what that is.

Mike, the owner of the company and his technician did an excellent job for us. We have Carrier Infinity Units with 4 zones and one of the air conditioning units stopped working. We have a warranty policy through the mortgage company and called them. Warranty company sent out two companies on separate days but the companies did not service Carrier Infinity. So we were 4 days without AC upstairs in our home. Finally they sent out Mike’s company, ABC 24 Hours Heating & Cooling. I read the prior reviews here on Unilocal so I was initially skeptical but I have to say they found multiple problems and fixed this very complex Carrier system. They were on time, easy to work with and Mike addressed all of our questions and explained all the issues and what he needed to do to address them. He went and got the parts the same day and finally the system is working again. I read the google reviews and the company has excellent track record on google with 41 reviews. Sometimes things happen and good companies get bad reviews but in this case we are completely satisfied and I would highly recommend Mike and his company located in Oakton, VA. Not many people are willing to work on Carrier Infinity Units and I am pleased we got excellent repair results. My dad was the focal point in working with Mike and dad is a tough old Viking who doesn’t trust easily or take any baloney and he is the one who suggested I give Mike a good review here for a job well done.

I agree with the other two reviews (including filtered). Don’t waste time calling this guy. Call someone else who is honest and reliable.
Mohammed (Mike) was assigned by the warranty company when my upstairs AC stopped working. Without thorough review, he said the outside unit was broken and replaced the unit. He charged the insurance company ($ 3,000) and me ($ 600) for uncovered charges. No clear written or oral explanation of charges were given.
The unit stopped after two weeks and this time he said it was the air handler in attic that was broken. Once again he replaced the unit and charged insurance company and me ($ 400).
The unit stopped again and this time he refused to come take a look. The insurance company had to assign another contractor. The new contractor took an hr to diagnose the real issue. A leak in the system and also found that the outside unit was not properly installed and freon was leaking.
Instead of diagnosing the real issue, Mohammed replaced units and cost the insurance company and me.
