Sac Pool Pros

for over three years I searched for a reputable company that would build my pool. I kept coming across shady companies that didn’t feel right — obsurd pricing, and a pretty bad reputation online.
I was introduced by a friend to Dave Randolph owner of Sac Pool Pros, Right away I felt like I could trust him and not only that, the portfolio of pools he built was phenomenal.
Just like all the other companies, I went online to see what I could find. I found a few complaints about a pool service issue, a no call back and stuff like that … but everyone who had a pool built by them was very happy!
Still I dug more, called some of their past clients and started asking around. everyone had great things to say about the pool design and construction… so I went with them and it was the best decision I ever made.
The project was done professionally, the crews were nice and knowledgeable and my pool came out great! I usually don’t go out of my way to write a nice review like this but this one was deserved!
Sac Pool Pros is the best pool company in The Roseville California area period. I know, I looked!

I contacted these guys to look at my filtration system and possibly drain my pool. Dave told me that he would come out personally in the morning to review my pool and give me an estimate. Two guys came out but Dave was not one of them so I called him. He swore he would be out shortly. I needed to run a few errands so I left and when I got back the pool was about a quarter way drained. These idiots drained my pool without a contract or permission at that point. I called Dave and he said he would be back out later and to not worry. He would make it all right. Well he never showed up. It was taking so much longer than he said so I left to an appointment and then returned home. there was flaking plaster all over the bottom of my pool and it was really green. I called David and he gave me the same old thing that he would be by in the Morning. well that morning he showed up and came in to look at my pool and immediately started to criticize its condition. He stated that the bottom of the pool had been that way for years. I knew this to be a lie. He then unhooked my filters and left my system open. I did not know that this would ruin my cartridges as they were supposed to remain wet. Long story short he denied any issue with damaging my pool bottom. They dumped my chlorine tablets out and used it to scrape the bottom of my pool. I filed a BBB report and he got on there and denied every having been to my place. He stated that another company did it. Well I have him in a conversation discussing his visit to my house and have him on video walking into my yard and looking at my lighting fixtures and pool condition. I will post the BBB reports in the Morning and I will be happy to let anyone dealing with him see my recordings and videos just inbox me. I see many customers complaining and he is just calmly discrediting these people. On a side note he was threatening another pool guy that I spoke to prior to him. I called David and informed him that I worked for a law enforcement agency and that he needed to stop that behavior or lose my business. That was my first sign and I did not adhere to it. I feel for the victims that are here trying to resolve their problems and being tossed to the side or called liars.

I have pleasure to work with Dave when he worked in my backyard building our pool and fireplace. He made our dream backyard become a reality. The pool cam out great as well as our fireplace. Now we always have friends and family over because we have the best backyard for entertaining. Dave was always on job, came on time for our meetings and was extremely professional. He made the entire process very easy for us. I highly recommend Dave and Sac Pool Pros.

Great people, Great company. Very responsive to needs and concerns. Built a stellar pool. Customer service was top notch the entire process. Took no shortcuts. We have a pool built from 2007 that was not commensurate with our house. Sac pool pros demo’d the old pool and started from scratch. Most people don’t believe that its the same backyard. We’re extremely happy :)

Sac pools made my summers much better by building me the best unground pool around ! They were super professional and got the job done on budget. Now all I want to do is lay around my pool and sunbathe … its super relaxing to have my own pool at home. and my friends love it too

After reading my review below, the owner of Sac Pool Pros contacted me about his concerns regarding my review. After explaining to him that I do not have a problem paying for services, but for the service I recieved as it was minimal, the fee charged did seem an inappropriate amount. The owner, did what all good business owners do, which is realize that the customer was unhappy and set out to make it right. The owner offered me a full refund, which I declined since he did diagnose a problem, of which I would have not of known if he had not came to inspect the pool. I agreed to a partial refund and the owner obliged and made arrangements that allowed me to get the refund fast and convenient. During our discussion, the owner explained that the fee did include a future visit and that he apologized that it was not communicated. The problem with my pool is something more serious then a basic cleaning would help and parts need to be replaced before any other maintenance is done. I do appreciate the owner of Sac Pool Pros reaching out to me and taking the bitter taste of feeling that I got ripped off out of my mouth.

Dont think I will be using these guys again. Called on a monday and they stated they could come by on Saturday at 10 am. 10am comes by and I wait. I called at 10:20am asking if they were on their way. The technician that answered asked me what it was regarding as he didnt have any appointments. I explained ot him that my pool was turning green and I needed help fixing it. The techncian states that he will be on the way. The technician arrives states and goes to check out the motor, realizes it is broken/​burnt out and cant work on it until it is fixed. Also suggests that i replace the robotic cleaner and pool filter as I learned the pool was painted before I bought it. Whole visit took 10 mintues and realized nothing could happen because of the broken motor. When leaving I asked him how much. It was still the original $ 125 as if he were to clean the pool. Very disappointed as the techncian basically came over and stated «yep, its broken, needs to be fixed.» I understand to pay for services, but $ 125?! Im in the wrong profession, since the company made $ 125 off of me for little to no labor and just to tell me that something is broken. If they arent performing labor as expected and charging me the same amount someone would charge me for a monthly service, I do feel ripped off. I really feel like I just wasted my hard earned money.

After summer, I decided to be one of those pool owners who felt as though they could buy some chemicals and maintain everything on their own. Big mistake. After a few months, thealgae started building up around the corners of my pool and the water started to turn green. Didn’t take me long to realize that I was in need of some professional help, so I did a little bit of online research and called the Sac Pool Pros. To my delight, I was able to get a next day appointment. After assessing the condition of my pool, I was told that simply a chlorine wash would get rid of the green and restore it to the proper color… and lo and behold! It worked!
In a day and age where almost every type of company tries to upsell unsuspecting customers, it was refreshing to be sold precisely what I needed and nothing more. The Sac Pool Pros lived up their name and were able to fix my pool in a matter of days, and at an affordable price.

Sac Pool Pros serviced our pool last year after it had gone without attention for quite some time. Not only were they fast and efficient but the guy who servied our pool seemed quite knowledgeable and even gave us a few tips on upkeep betweenn service calls. Their price wasn’t bad either. Would definitely reccomend them and plan on calling on their services again this year.

Sac Pool Pros are not PROS! Yes– they offer great deals, but trust me… It’s not worth it! My pool was so dirty, I couldn’t even let the kids put their feet in. This is a young and unprofessional team who can’t provide for their customers. They lie and don’t do their job.

Yes, I’m also on a basic service now with a great business and my pool is always clean. I had a brand new pool sweep and everything was working great. You just didn’t do your job. I’m usually not this bitter, but I had cameras and you lied about being here. That is not acceptable! Be professional and you’ll get more business– just not mine. Excellent customer service, quality work and great prices! They have taken great care in bringing my pool back to its former glory and I couldn’t be happier! I highly recommend them!

Ended up calling sac pool pros to fix the hot tub jets while i was house sitting for some friends for a few weeks. They sent Dave over the next day to work on it and he said that it had something to do with excess air buildup in the pipes or something, idk. The whole process took about an hour or two and everything was working like normal. He told me some tips to tell my friend who owns the house so they won’t have the problem again which i thought was cool. If you’re ever in need of good hot tub service, definitely give these guys a call.

Been using them for years now on my Pool. Price is good and they are always on time Very happy with their service. I once got quoted a new light and the other guys where about $ 300 more so sac pools pros saved me money thanks.

The Customer Service and overall experience was wonderful! Sac Pool Pros are just that ! True Professionals in what they do! I have had other bad experiences with Other pool cleaning companies who do a half-​ass job and leave me having to touch up after wards… BUT Sac Pool Pros did the work RIGHT! Not only do they take the time to answer all my questions but they provide quality and expert advice WITHOUT trying to sell you extras. They are a GREAT HONEST Company which is exactly what I have been looking for. I will never go anywhere else for my pool needs.

Great company. Did an excellent job cleaning my parent’s pool at the last minute.
They have a shitty marketing company that works for them, I would recommend finding one that doesn’t make as many excuse and knows how to use email effectively.

David is a genuinely nice person and is great to work with. He is easy to talk to and works efficiently. He answered all questions thoroughly and made sure everything was understood. He did not attempt to sell me on any extra products I did not need.

The owner was fantastic. He personally came over and gave me an complete orientation on my pool system. He was answered all my questions and was very patient with me. What I liked most is how honest he was with me, he cut through all the BS and told everything I needed to know and didn’t try to sell me on anything like a car salesman. We tested my water and he educated on the dos and don’ts of pool chemicals. I highly recommend Sac Pool Pros

Sac Pool Pros built us an amazing pool in our backyard. As first time home buyers, we had no idea what the process of building a pool was. David did a wonderful job holding our hand through the whole building process and we ended up with the pool of our dreams. There entire team really helped make the process simple and fun I would recommend Sac Pool Pros to anyone looking to build a custom swimming pool in the folsom area thanks again!

we no longer have this pool service. They came in telling us they could clean our tile and install a bigger filter system. They used regular sand to clean the tiles and did not clean it out. They installed the filter system backwards. it then got plugged by sand and we had to buy 200.00 more worth of filters. We had a new polaris pool cleaner that never worked after sucking up so much sand. The new pool guy even called the owner of sac pool service and was told «it was his employees that did all that work and it wasn’t his fault» since my husband was home during the tile cleaning and filter installation, he could verify that the owner was here both times. we spent 1400.00 with this company and feel like all it did was cause damage to our pool. I would never recommend this company to anyone.
