3 stars because the food is really yummy. However, it is over priced and the service is very slow. Even late at night we sat in the drive through for about 10 minutes, no one was in front of us. I agree with everyone else, way too greasy but great comfort food.

This Jimboys is no the best Jimboys but its close to my house so I go. I have had a few times where there’s no cheese on the outside of my tacos and there place isn’t the cleanest in town compared to a lot of others but I give them a three star because I still go here and they are fast at getting the order done!

When I want to cheat on my diet I go here, the tacos are amazing and greasy as hell so if you have a weak stomach that cannot handle too much grease then try chipotle.

I’m wondering when someone will tell these guys that their food is too greasy. Am I the first?

Okay, you gotta’ admit… sometimes you just feel like eatting something fast and not worry about calories, fat, etc. — You know, fast food. And, sometimes that craving is for Mexican food too. Well, Jimboy’s Tacos is a fast and good(okay, maybe not the best for you… but good) Mexican fast food place. SMILES… –Good variety of menu selections(tacos, burritos, quesidillas, etc.) –Breakfast menu options –Surprising good and consistent flavor in their foods — even from one location to another. –Salsa bar –Good prices –Usually lots of parking –Fast service & Drive-Thru –Desert! FROWNS… –Not the most healthy(Hey, what’d you expect for a fast food place? However, if you’re into healthy, take a look at the nutritional info on Jimboy’s Tacos web site. Pick the right foods and you can still have a satisfying and somewhat healthy meal — it’s all up to you). There’s a number of Jimboy’s Tacos places around. Stop by and give it a try sometime.

wifey and i had just finished dinner with the folks and were on our way to visit some other family while in town for the weekend. we drove past jimboy’s on the way out to roseville. the exchange went thusly: «babe, let’s get jimboy’s on the way back. never tried it, but always driven past it.»(i grew up in east sacramento and never went to jimboy’s — ridiculous, i know) «oh my god i can’t eat anything else» «let’s do it, you will be soooo happy» 2 hours elapse, on our way back home: «jimboy’s!» “ok USA!“ we made it just in time for the drive thru(closes at 10:30p on saturday nite) with about 20 minutes to spare before closing. for some reason they choose not to list carnitas on their drive thru menu. fortunately, we had the gall to ask for it specifically, and to our delight carnitas was available(albeit only in tacos). so we ordered a shredded beef gorda, a quesadilla and a carnitas taco. the tortillas have a nice crisp to them, with a dusting of salt. great spicy sauce to pour over the food. the meat was really nice and tender and a very authentic flavoring. have i mentioned the carnitas? i will kill for savory pork! yum, b
